I do not have that problem.
I have now had a fifth train with nobody wanting to visit the Sanctuary, so foolishly I decided to contact support, I know, I know, having read so many messages on here it was not my greatest idea!
i was reassured that it is generated completely randomly by the game and then a huge diatribe explaining how the sanctuary works.

That is unlucky, I've occasionally had one full train load where none want to see the Sanctuary - but certainly not several in a row.
I would have sent a message to Help & Support about that too (even though you would most likely get a generic response stating it's random)
Yeah, I had a whole week last week where no one wanted to visit the sanctuary. Now I am getting sanctuary visitors who have an animal marked out with a big X. For example, will not visit the giraffe. Had not seen this before. Picky about which animal must be in the zoo for them to visit. Anyone else seen this?
i think at first some visitors would want to see animals that we didn't have - but i also think they corrected that after the initial release, i haven't seen that in a long time (since it was supposed to be fixed)Quote:

After the first few days I decided I wasn't going to let whether were going to visit or not dictate how much or what I was prepared to sell to them, so I stopped paying much attention.
That does sound like a BUG though.
H&S really needs to have a name change, I think perhaphs 'PD. Patronising Dimwits' ... & that IS the polite version.
Why do you want visitors to your sanctuary? For an axe, a saw or a handful of useless coins?

Yes, it happens to me all the time! Some do, some don't. Idk if I've had 4 trains without any, but I may have.
if the animal has an "X", I believe it means you do not yet have that animal, so you will not get a gift if you host that person.
In the past I have had 3 trains in a row with no sanctuary visitors but it has been better lately.
The 'so-what Sanctuary' was/is a total waste of time so I'm not the least surprised even the game's own visitors aren't bothered.
Great.....now EVEN the townies can't be bothered with the sanctuary!

The animals are there for my amusement not for my visitors'. However, I'm open to letting them view the animals if they were to gift me some puzzle pieces or expansion permits.
I like Lynn's suggestion of getting the Bigfoot-rare expansion permits from so-what sanctuary visitors. SC rolled out new lands and of course decided to make that even harder than before with scrolls needed also. However, in a frenzy of self congratulation and group hugs over the flop that was to become of their 'exciting, wonderful' new sanctuary they totally forgot the permits and they disappeared TOTALLY for over 2 weeks. Yes they reappeared grudgingly as Derby horseshoe prizes but by then the double whammy damage was done. Permits became non existent and the massive flop of the so-what sanctuary!
