if you are looking for new members, get your hood to invite long time followers or friends from their tabs.

add them to your friends book and then you can invite them to your hood. They may just be looking for a change ;)

I know many would never consider this, but there is something to be said for moving to another hood every once in awhile (3, 6, 9, 12 months). Yes, most believe they have the best hood and neighbors, and want to stay "where everyone knows your name", but it is fun to meet new people from all over the world, to experience the different ways things are done, the different ways people communicate, different things done for fun and freshness, etc. Stay in touch with your old neighbors through the forum, FB, kik, messenger, etc.

Try to find a common bond with new hoodies. Where you are from, your experiences, your goals, all are a good place to start. Especially if you have had the same hood mates for a while.

I'm glad to say we have a new hood mate that I believe is a great positive asset to our NH.

Chat about holidays and places you have been. The world becomes a small place when 3 random people are all going to Italy in October, lol XD
