Here we go again ....... DD nearing Eggcapacity!!!
And most of them at top price - when will farmers learn?
Hope none of them contains fipronil ;)
Farmers need to learn to cook with them and then make more money from selling the product. I'm working on a basket task with bacon, milk and carrots. You will not find any of that in my stand, and I have actually purchased milk to keep the dairy and coffee going.
Actually I have found that there's more profit in selling the more basic things like eggs, milk, wheat, corn, etc, than the products I can make with them.
Making products gets me more xp.
And we need the products to fill orders.
My machines go full time. And yes I make profit from selling carrot pies, juice etc. But the biggest profit is still with basic animal products and crops.
Basic rule. More complex products are better for xp.
I was thinking more about selling when you know there will be an over abundance of certain raw products when I suggested selling actual products. I often sell eggs, wool, bacon and milk to make a bit of barn space quickly during a regular week.
So right now doing the pets task, I am using my raw products to make more products so that I can help friends with their boats.
Ok, I'll buy that. For me, making stuff makes me feel more productive, more of what I want out of the game. I love having my RSS full of different items than all of one at default prices. This is what is the best part of HD. There is no wrong way to play, and play does not have to encompass all aspects of the game to advance. I hate boats. I love the derby, but couldn't care less if I win. Town doesn't thrill me, but I keep them stacked for the derby tasks. In other words, I meander through and thoroughly enjoy myself.
I feel more productive buying stuff. Why would I spend 70 hrs making 10 jams when I can find them sporadically in the DD? I do everything in this game...boats, town, trucks on a daily basis. I don't need an event to motivate me. How? The DD...all its splendor and glory.
Don't mess with the DD...
