Looks like Harvey's strongest rains tonight are south and maybe even offshore tomorrow - been watching the KHOU live feed all day last 3 days on the iPad. My family and I are still very fortunate in that we have not had any flooding. Unfortunately, there are some areas that will remain flooded for several weeks. Life is slowly returning to Houston. The slogan here in Houston is "HOUSTON STRONG"

Wait; what? Why would they do that? And why would they waste drinking water like that, when that's one of the things that can indeed become kinda rare during floods? To me that sounds like "oh, let's flood stuff even more, so people can be thirsty later while washing themselves with dirty water".Quote:
