Animal Derby

I welcome a flood of Bacon & Milk.

Eggs however...could be a nightmare. Please ask everyone to sell the Eggs at default, otherwise they will not move and the paper will be ruined even worse than the Strawberry flood a month or so ago.

well if only the players dont take a higher prize then we get from Greg and ohter visitors ,
I and ohter higher level players can buy the stuff and have Greg take them
But I think many players will prefer to have their shops full with MAX prize stuff they cant sell so they cant play ,
and if someone put out stuff att good prizes , many will buy them and put them out att full prize to jam their shops , and the DD

It also depends on your neighborhood, if they want/need your low-points tasks or not. Not implying anything, just talking from personal experience.

Had only just rehired Rose so still debating whether to join in or not :(

I am very happy about this derby! I harvest my animals regularly and now I'm getting derby points for it, too! I love an egg, milk, pets or breakfast task!

I decided to go for it and play. Stir crazy was the deciding factor. It would drive me nuts to not participate for a week :)

As stated before that's 2500 Coins, not $s. (Is this where I insert an American joke?) LOL...

Also, the derby start time and ending is based on your timezone, not 4am for everyone. It starts each Tuesday at 11am Finland time, and whatever that works out to be local time for each player. Then ends same time the following Monday with a 24-hour break.

Well the 400 basket task we have was:
31 x goat milk (requires at least 24 hours)
13 x fully serve town visitor
150 x strawberries

We have a collect 62 wool task for 394 points. (that extra 2 makes it a 30 hr task:rolleyes:)

There is a collect 47 goat milk task for 383 points (that's a 32 hr task :rolleyes:)

I haven't seen any egg or bacon tasks yet. Hopefully they pop up and can provide some leveling of these longer tasks with shorter tasks. :confused:

'Specials' so far are:-
goats milk, 48 for 391. (12 per milking so 4 rounds takes 3x8 24 hours)
Milk, 68 for 323
Eggs, 133 for 388
Wool, 62 for 395




Basket tasks :-
Market 400 (strawberries goats milk and town)
Breakfast, 363 points
Crafts 400 (wool, candles and pumpkins)
pets, 400 (wool, bacon milk)

A nice variety

It will take strategy to finish on top this week. Depending on the number of players in your NH opted in will make a difference too. This is why I love the themed derbies. It is not a slam dunk and it keeps me playing with a goal all week instead of 24 hours.
