Our clan last two wars has drawn a clan with all or almost all TH11s, all ranging from max defences no xbows, no infernos, no eagles, all the way to max 11s.
We won the first one, but the one we have right now they are all big hero guys too. One TH10 has had 3 defences, normally that would be great, except they still have 6 TH11s to throw at him, LOL.

We just got our latest matchup - they have 5 TH 11 with all defenses and the warden of course and we have 2 TH 11, both maxed.
We have a new TH 10 that hasn't had the gold to place more than a cannon and then start in cc upgrade, but as I said it's new so the offense isn't high either and certainly not engineered.
Sorry to say, most of our TH 10s are not that great in attacking skills so with so many TH 11s there is no chance for me and the other TH 11 to dip down and this war is probably another fail. We used to have fair matchups and then we could have a chance to win even with the lack of skill from some. They could still join in and we could all have fun. Do I have to tell them they are a hazard now and can't war since we get this ridiculous matchups?
This game shouldn't only be for 3 star experts, but for everyone who wants to invest their time in it. Some take longer to learn attack skills, but they should get a chance to develop it, at least in my opinion. Attack skill in my humble opinion is attacking an equal opponent and getting high percent 2 star or 3 stars, not smashing TH 10s with maxed TH 11 troops.

The new algorithm again served us 2 engi clans in a row with 2 th11 more the line up. We have no engi accounts. Number of th11 must match in future otherwise clanwar is dead.

Wanted to wait a few wars before adding my 2 cents. Every war since the update we have been out numbered in TH 11s and TH 10s. We have no engineered bases or .5's.
So far it seems to be worse. :(
I have a suggestion for fixing the problem that lies in the current matchmaking. Adding war weight to a town hall level, so much so that it would push the weight over the weight of the max weight of the previous town hall level. This way, clan wars would be steered back to being played in the spirit which it is meat to be played, and make engineering less viable.
Why even bother anymore, really. 112 pages of mostly negative reviews here, 125 in the thread on general and the only response was 2 days in to the great mm update saying were seeing positive results. Even engineered clans came in here to brag how they are still getting good matches. What about all the clans seeing really bad matches? Very frustrated with how SC handling this, as usual. Was hoping with a community manager things would get better in the PR department, but looks like SOP.
It is your own fault because:
You did a 10v10 war. Of course you got overmatched.
You did a 15v15 war. No one ever wins those. Usually both sides lose.

Your #17 had upgraded one wizard tower before all mortars were done so you guys are all dirty rotten engineers.
You guys upgraded heroes. everyone knows that heroes don't count enough so you were trying to get an advantage (anytime you don't have any proof for an assertion, prefix it with everyone knows and then no one can challenge it)
you guys removed all point fives from your lineup, trying to get a more advantageous (for you) match. So since you were trying to affect the matchup, removing the point fives was just another kind of engineering your line up so you deserve what you get.
And so on..
They need to do a th11 comparison in the mm. both sides should have the same amount of th11 attacks.
This war the enemy has 3 we have one th11, it's broken.
I swore not to jump to conclusions on the MM algorithm until i had enough data to support a claim, and on the other token, you (SC) all should not have opened a thread to get feedback until people had a chance to collect enough sample data to see how the MM algorithm is now that you have "revamped" it. This is our 5th war post the update... and to be perfectly clear up front, we were not one of the clans that were engineering our bases to get better matchups. We are completely a legitimate clan of people who max out their bases before upgrading... Now, before the update we had a record of 179-62. Which isn't a bad clan war record considering the amount of opponents that were engineering bases to facilitate their matchup. Anyway we are 1 and 4 since the update, and the matchup (not our performance...) completely has dictated our outcome every time. We can't compete with what the matchups are. Take our current war...
*Only top 4 bases, because let's face it, everything from there down will be 3 starred and the top 4 matchups ALWAYS dictate the outcome of our war. At least for us that is the case because we have a nice mix of TH levels involved. I realize some clans have all TH 10 and 11 bases in wars and that can change that dynamic. But humor me for the case of the style clan i am in...
My Clan:
1) TH 11 - NO Eagle Artillery, Level 4 infernos, Level 5 xbows, mostly TH 10 defensive buildings for the remaining... offensively maxed out heros including warden and troops except wizard, hog riders, miners still lvl 3, and heal spell level 6.
2) TH 10 - maxed out everything troops/defenses walls...
3) TH 10 - maxed everything but infernos level 2...
4) TH 10 - all maxed defenses, mid 30s level heros, troops and spells are not completely maxed out but close even though freeze is still just level 3.
Enemy Clan:
1) TH 11 - level 2 EA, level 5 infernos, level 5 xbows, all rest of defense maxed out to TH 11, lvl 35 king, lvl 40 AQ, lvl 20 warden, all troops maxed except hog riders, pekka and golem.
2) TH 11 - level 2 EA, Lvl 4 infernos, lvl 4 xbows, rest of defenses are mixed in upgrade from TH 9 and TH 10 levels, LVL 25 BK, lvl 30 AQ, LVL 12 Warden... Troops are TH 9 maxed except dragons are lvl 6, loons lvl 7, valks lvl 5. Spells are relatively maxed to TH 10.
3) TH 10 - all maxed defenses, troops, most walls, with level 30 AQ and BK.
4) TH 10 - all maxed defenses, troops, walls lvl 10, lvl 30 AQ, Lvl 25 BK.
Everyone in this game knows that the EA is a game changing defense. It should carry a ton more weight than apparently it does. So how can one clan have 2 TH 11s with the maxed level Eagle and the other none?
I am the TH 11 without EA in my clan, and I don't mind being paired directly against a TH 11 with EA, but there needs to be something to offset that advantage within the next 2-3 matchups in the war, and there isn't, nor has there been in any of the wars since the new MM algorithm was released, at least for us that is... hope something changes soon, I know SC mentioned that minor adjustments can and will be made in the coming days since the release, and hope they look into this. Wars are the ONLY thing making this game enjoyable for me, since the Builder Base was an atrocity, and there really isnt much reason to farm resources, and pushing trophies is severely over rated with the long wait times to find a multiplayer battle...
Lot of typing for probably no one to read, but SC should never complain about their clientele not voicing their opinion, because apparently we do... 100+ pages worth on this one subject, and you did ask for our input.
Dear sc... you have to wake up! People are leaving the game and refuse to war because of terrible mismatching. 8 vs 5 th 11.. 6 vs 4 th 11.. 7 vs 3 (!) th 11.. that's our 3 latest wars. I used to love this game and the clanwars, but now l'm close to deleting it. How on earth can you call it fair play when we have 3 vs 7 th 11? I've said it before; more weight to troops and heroes can solve this. Also there should be max 1 more th 11. You have to react now or you will lose players that have played for years!

Ok, we have had 3 more wars since...and each have been fair. We won 2, lost 1. But, each have been fair. No issues. Not sure if the war matchmaking algorithm changed...but no eng clan matchups for the last 3 wars. I have no problem losing to a fair clan. We tied on stars, but they got more %. They beat us fair and square. We won 2 wars also. So far, so good. :-). Just wanted to give an update.Quote:

1 out of 3 past wars were evenly matched for our 10 man clan. In the other 2 wars the TH9s were matched well in the 5-8 position but our bottom TH8s were matched against TH7s and our 4 TH10s at the top were matched against 2 TH11's and 2 TH10's. The 2 TH11's mopped up our top 4 TH10s and then their other 2 TH10's were able to downrank for 4 attacks against our TH9's ... We were only able to uprank and get 2 stars on their TH11 bases....
So after the last 5 wars where we met engineered clans, and us having some engineered and x.5 bases, I took the feedback here and removed all our engineered bases and x.5. We used to do 40:40 with the following spread:

Out of the 5 previous wars, we won 3 and lost 2, with the last one being the most lopsided. However as a clan that uses engineered bases in wars, we have come to accept that occasionally we will be matched against a clan that is better at engineering than us, yet so far we have won more than we have lost. But, with the new update, the changes to the MM and feedback here we thought the time may be right to bring us all back to the proper path of upgrading. So we left out all engineered bases and x.5 and went with true upgraders. This is our current line up:
1 TH11 Maxed Except Walls
3 TH10 Various level infernos, defence and walls, all have all TH10 defences built
5 TH9 Various level X-Bows defence and walls, all have all TH9 defences built
6 TH 8 Normal, Most Nearly Maxed

The MM is definitely not working and for our clan was much better before. It is pretty disheartening really as I was hoping that paling the game as 'intended' would be fairer, but alas we have just been screwed over instead.

My clan don't run any engineered bases. We've just matched a clan in a 15v15 war who are totally engineered, we have one th11, they have four th11s with maxed wardens. How is this fair? Thanks supercell, good job guys.
I'm surprised I didn't see any mention here of the announcement on twitter today about the matchmaker, even though it didn't say much.

So, yet another mis match, atleast this time we are only outnumbered by 4 TH11s.
C'mon Darian, this is getting ridiculous. Out of 11 Wars under the new algorithm, we have been matched against Engineers a total of 9 times, and the lowest number of TH11s we have been down is 4. We've even had a TH11 with Max heroes and Troops mirrored against a TH9.
Our matches have been far worse under the new MM.
Well up to now my wars have been fairly even but this war is a joke i am guessing war weight means nothing anymore as i cant see how a max th7 can match up with a engineered th11 that only has a cannon and a archer tower it makes no sense
They don't though. It isn't like the same number in the other clan in the map ranking means they "matched." I do agree the matchmaker still isn't properly accounting for a defenseless base.Quote:

Hero levels are about the same, with a slight advantage to them.
25v25, our clan got matched to a clan with 6 th11s to our 3 (all legit th11s with eagles).
All of their th11s are maxed or near maxed with eagles maxed offenses and heroes. They have sandbagged their bottom with 4 defenseless th3 accounts, a defenseless th7.
We have no engineered accounts. Even number of th10s, but we have Three 9.5s (new th10s without infernos) to their two 9.5s (near max th10s without infernos).
This is lame. Sandbagging is lame. Fix this ♥♥♥♥ supercell.

Our wars are 10v10, lately the other clans usually have 1 or 2 more th11 than us, which I figure isn't too bad,
In our latest war it's 6 th11 vs our 2 th11. Really supercell?
We are a clan with 8.5s, 9.5s, and 10.5s and typically win 2/3 of wars. Since the update we have had horrendous matchups with many highly engineered clans with multiple th11s with th7 defenses for example. We have been perfect warred 4 times in a row after not getting perfect warred for months. Please change it back to the way it was otherwise I fear my classmates clanmates will all quit. :(
Another very close and even war. Final score was 59 to 5. Why was this even? They would of gotten 59 but lost on pct since the war came down to the #1 spot. Ours was a 66% 2* theirs a 65% 2*. They completely gave up after that attack.
Overall excellent match up.

OK, we have a defence advantage lower down, but they have advantage at top, and offence advantage.
So this is 10 out of 12 on the new MM where we have been out numbered on TH11 bases.
War match making getting worse, we have consecutive losses because of engineered bases with high troops. This is not fair play we have 3 straight losses and now the 4th will be loss too because it is unfair obviously mismatch!!! Please do something about this because this is not fun anymore.

I would love to know how many clans at this point are engineered... and how extreme are they?

--the extreme clans that almost / or never loose... 3% (I'm sure you know some) -These clans get 50+ win streaks all the time. I've met a few in war... These people are 100% max heroes and walls - every last one of their bases are a force to be reckoned with and they just cant be stopped.
I would wager a guess -- that every smart clan that has ever visited this forum or spent 5 minutes learning about the game - has done some form of engineering -- that for the past two years every clan in game has --to some extent - been skipping defenses because thats just HOW THE GAME WAS WON...= I would throw out a number to guess that 40% of all clans in game now have at least 10% of its player base as engineered. -- which means - every 2nd or 3rd war - every clan will run into an engineered clan of some sort... I mean -- aside from a handful of people around here who feel that 'maxing is the way to go' that like to see 'how tough they are' -- most players just want to win and upgrade smart... so going an offense only route was such an easy path for so many of them to understand... even now -its still a better option than 'maxing' because the MM is still mostly broken.
So many pros to rushing with an offense only account... biggest one is how quickly you can get an account to max th11 with 1 max army available to help out the top of your war map... a dedicated player can accomplish this with zero gems in half a year...
Compared to a 'maxer' who will spend FIVE years upgrading - before they get the same offensive ability...
I wonder which path most of the impatient people in this game will choose to go with... lol
war matches have been of very little difference for us, our problem is, where we use to match up in 30 minutes at the longest it now takes many hours to match up and we hate it.. Often we are forced to stop the search and start again the next day..Please try to do something about this.
One thing is for sure as your win streak increases you get hard wars,more engineered clans.This has to be fixed or corrected.
This update is so erratic, what did you peeps do!? We run no engineered bases and have matches all over the board. We are currently matched with a heavily engineered clan with th11 all over the map, selective troop upgrades even, nothing but drags etc rest lvl1. Figure this ♥♥♥♥ out it's so disheartening.
ALLTIME SOLUTION. will destroy engineered bases and force all villages to max out.
In the algo. The amount of each TownHall Levels should be matched primarly befor other weights considered.
Example:
3xth10 vs 3xth10
4xth9 vs 4xth9
3xth8 vs 3xth8
With this rule, both sides always have equal chance for a perfect war 100%.
Unless a player thought to be smart enough to beat the MatchMaking system algo. by engineering and ends up with vs own townhall level but with higher leveled defence/offence. I understand Engineering has become a strategical approach to CW. In no case fair play. The attack power is mostly just not enough to destroy a complete higher townhall base.
Many will like. And many wont.
Just to follow up, we'll win this one, 28* to 27*, for some reason a few of their th11s decided to go lavaloons on our 9.5s and failed to 3*.Quote:

By no means an even war (10v15 TH11s), but it could be winnable for us.
C'mon SC hurry up and fix this.
I'm fed up with this match making. How difficult is it to insert a couple of lines in to the code to include when there are Town Halls above level 9 and minimal defence, only match against similar as it's an engineered clan? There are still some of us who want to play the game as it was intended rather than manipulate the development of bases to give an advantage in wars
We've now got a 10 v 10 match, we have only th10s and th9s, the opponents have three th11s. This is ridiculous.
Their no2's max laloon army and lvl14 warden is currently destroying our top th10s, they've also managed to get a eagle artillery on their no1 base and their no2 has lvl4 infernos, lvl14 cannons, lvl14 archer towers, lvl9 mortars, lvl10 wizard towers and lvl5 xbows.Quote:

Suggestion to improve matchmaking
I think it would be good to Put some weight in th so a th11 allways counts at least as a Max th10 and a th10 counts atleast as a maxed th 9 so the matchup would be more fair.
The th weight can be in a seperate weightfactor so if you dont engineer your base you can use your regular weightsystem.

I say the same thing. This would be the best way to combat the engineered bases. After this update our war matching has been highly erratic. Some of the match ups are so far out of balance that it completely kills moralQuote:

Based on our experience, we have seen 2 from 14 being evenly matched.
When is this MM going to be fixed?
15 player war, they had 6 th11s we had ZERO. This is now the 5th terrible match on the spin, the other side has a big th11 advantage every time. I assume sc are working hard on this, if the BB gets an update before this is fixed then it could very well kill the game. Not overnight but it will be the beginning of the end.

with the new matchmaking in my clan (lvl 9), we lost 11 wars of the last 14. Previously, we won about 60% of the wars ....
We only have a minimax (th9) and two th8.5. We often have two or three th11, opponents at least one or two th11 more.
Wars with 20 or 25 players
For me, matchmaking with total weight is worse than before.
Because a balanced village in attack and defense, with the same total weight of a village built only in attack, is disadvantaged in war... without doubts (the balanced village has a weaker attack of the minimax).
It would be best to consider only offensive weight and to impose equal number of TH in the matchmaking: it would push everyone to develop also the defenses as well (the dead of minimax)
It has been a week and so far no commment from SC after their twitter said they were going to make adjustments. You would think they would have enough info with 117 pages just on this thread alone detailing the mis-matches and possible suggestions. At the end of the day people play Clash of Clans primarily for Clan Wars. No one asked for or wanted the Clash Royale rip-off builder base and farming steadily to get one more block of wall or one more Hero level is boring,lets face it. We do it all to have the troops and base to go to war with. If the match making is not fixed it completely ruins the game as clan wars is the only thing that keeps most people coming back.

Might be coincidence, but moving war start time and we don't get a heavily engineered Opponent. Also not an Asian clan.
Conspiracy theory starts here..... SC don't want to nerf Engineered Clans, as most of them are Asian, and who owns SC, an Asian company...
Before I can draw any conclusions, I'll wait and see what our next war search brings.

We are L12 clan that was accustomed to winning 75% of our wars in the last 3 years with solid attacks and good defense. In the last 19d, we have 2 wins and 7 losses where our opponent averages 93% to 96% destruction. Not sure what you did but it has become somewhat demoralizing to our clan of 47. Our current war only has 10 engaged.

Since update my non engineerered clan facing less defenceless bases, but facing still engineered up top. Wars with th9 n under, no engineers don't stand chance w th11 up top w 4 xbows warden and max drags. We are good war clan and enjoy matches not too lopsided. Wars are better, but still need to tweak algorithm. Why does a game allow itself to get played like this by engineers. How hard is it really to say don't build defenses. Until townhall lvl has minimum weight (lab too), wars gonna stay mismatched often. I feel lil bit fool maxing th9 heroes 30/30 if it means facing only 10/11's in war w bigger armies and better troops, they win even with their low heroes. How is supercell after years not aware that higher th lvls are meant to beat lower th's. It's never even match when one side has bigger army and spells. Though now, bc I did my heroes at th9, I face 10-11's bigger armies, spells AND considerably more def, all bc I did my heroes. Money spent gemming heroes along way was a waste. Hope fixed soon, without war improvements that fix problem, goin wrong direction with people that support game.

MM has gone beyond a joke!
So my clan just finished up a really good matchup. 15v15, even TH/defense/troops throughout the map. AND the search took literally 2 minutes.
Previously, we've been dealing with pretty garbage matches--pulling 11s, engineers, total imbalance. The difference this time? No TH10s. All TH9 and under and it was fun and great.
...I sat the TH10s in the first place because it was so miserable. This isn't making me want to try them again, that's for sure. Sad though, because my main account is a TH10 and it is an irrelevant burden in many ways. I very much wish SC would fix the issue with TH10s.
We just got a fair matchup on Sat for a change, 4 TH10s to our 3 TH10s but their 4rth had no infernos so basically fair. Rest of the TH9s and TH8s matched up. We won by a point but was close to the finish. The important thing was our TH10's at the top didn't have to face TH11's which means a loss before we even start. Its only one war but hoping they fixed something...
Hi,really hope I am wrong but think clan wars as we new them before the "engineered bases" started appearing have gone,s/c would have to do something drastic to the MMA for it to change,our first 6 wars after update were fair the last 3 just ridiculous we have no th11 in our rosters but keep getting matched against them,7 of them in our last 20v20 war,btw we don't engineer.imao ( and I hope I am wrong ) s/c waited far too long to solve this possibly the revenue stream from them was too much to ignore ,could prove counter productive as if something doesn't happen soon think lots could quit wars.Dont mind tough matches but it's gotta be fair for both sides guys

We need something to change soon. Fair matchups are hit or miss lately. The past two wars we have faced two th11s and we only have low 10s. Its tough to keep my guys motivated with these types of matchups.
Maybe until sc can figure this out they should hire people to manually authorize every war. I alone have spent enough on this game to cover several months salary for someone. Last two wars were over before 2 hours in. Their 1 this time was a th10 with level 2 and 3 infernos, but only level 6 heroes. Our top guy is a th9 with level 12, and 16 heroes. After their 1 3 starred our top 2, their #9, another engineered th10 3 starred our 3 and 4. Same scenario last war.
If supercell wants both fair play, and to allow engineered play style they'll need to figure out how to separately matchmake. Let the engineered crowd have both sides hit 100%, every time. The issue fixes itself. Supercell hasn't banned a playstyle, and it's fair.
Engineered clans only exsist to use a loophole in the algorithm. It is cheating, as far as I'm concerned. I have no issue losing to a better opponent. I despise losing to an opponent that put years less effort into their base, their clan, and is allowed to win. I liken it to a one legged man being given a rocket so they can compete in the Olympics. It is insane.

After a 5 war win streak my clan (who have not engineered bases at all), have a 15 v 15 war match.
We have 8 th10s, 6 th9s and a th8; they have 5 th11s, 5 th10s, 4 th9s and a th8.
It’s fair to say that Supercell’s weak stance on engineering isn’t going down well in my clan at the moment.
the new matchmaking is beyond a joke. We're a lvl14 clan who have significant war experience. Current spin, 30v we are running 1 th11, no eagle. Rest are th10, th9, th8. We pull 11 th11s, yep eleven, 4 of which have eagle defence. Do I expect perfection, no. This however is ridiculous and is in danger of turning people off of the game.
Where is the incentive for me not to engineer my maxed th9 to th11?
The algorithm is not learning. From a starting point of the above, it's broken. Well and truly "friar tucked"!

We're an L13 clan. We're maxers and, like many, we've been matched against a lot of engineered clans. We typically win, but the real trouble comes in when we run our single TH11 against engineers with several engineered TH11s who actually know how to attack and use their troops. Since the matchmaking improvement four weeks ago, more of our matches have been against engineered clans.
Our current war is a 15x15 and that match was found in 23 minutes. We have one TH11 to their four TH11s, including their #15 who sits at the bottom with his L4 drags....doesn't get much more egngineerd than that! We have three TH10s to their four TH10s. We have seven TH9s to their six th9s. We have three TH8s to their one TH8. (We don't like the th8-11 TH spread in such small wars, but have a lot out for hero ugs atm). We're one a two war win streak and they're on a three war win streak. These guys are good, too. How do I know, you might ask? We were matched against them 35 days ago and lost bc of their abundance of 11s.
I feel kind of foolish for posting the same kind of stuff on the forums in hopes that substantial changes will actually be made to the matchmaking system to restore it to its once former glory. Hope is a powerful motivator, though!
Thanks for taking the time to read another one of these posts...I know there are many stories similar to the one I've reported. Just wish they'd be taken seriously enough to effect serious change.

A little feedback, just matched 30v30. BD for us (random spin, whoever is opted in) 6 TH 11's/6 TH 10's/14 TH 9's/4 TH 8's, not a single .5 or engineered base. We found 9 TH 11's (all almost maxed defensively)/2 9.9's (TH 11 offense TH 9 defense)/12 TH 9's (almost all completely maxed)/1 9.5 with maxed heros/1 TH 11 with TH 7 defenses with maxed Lalo and hero's. But it's all balanced because they have 5 TH 3's at the bottom, Ridiculous.
So to be clear, in a 30 man war they have 3 more TH 11's (9 total), all with EAs (all maxed defensively or very close) to our 6. They ALSO have 24 GW attacks to our 12 (All GW's are maxed on both sides). We are in a casual clan to just have fun and joke around. Most are in the MLCW and are just relaxing atm. Absolutely a joke, and some wonder why the game is going downhill. I'm just posting feedback as asked, not looking for pity.

i think the best solution for the clan wars MatchMaking is to set the max number of top opponnents town hall according to the max number of our clans.
if i have 3 town hall 11 in my clan, i should get at max 3 th 11 in opponnent clan, in this way the war will be more equal despite the rest of the opponnent town halls.
We haven't faced a non-engineered clan since the new match making came out. We finally came across a clan where almost every base is TH11 ranging from defenseless to a full TH11. #9QP0V0Q

*sigh* as mentioned before we are not an engineered clan, meet our matchup after the “newest” MM changes:
We have 3 th11's, a th10, 5 th9's, 3 th8s, 3 th7s and a th3
they have 3 th11's, a th10, 10 th9's and all the way at #15 another th11
all their th9's have xbows, so none of our bottom 6 bases can kill anything except 15
it actually looks like it got worse again.
oh search took 25 mins to find this “fair” matchup and we aren’t on a streak since it got broken on our last matchup (which was actually an even match, beats me how they can do it one time and screw us royally the next search)

the top is pretty even, the bottom is where the problem lies on this matchup. Our 9’s can take them on, no problem there, but how do we motivate our genuine th8-7 to even try to compete on this match. Kind of sad for them to be building properly and end up being ‘useless’. They all like to war :o
all their th9’s having xbows (all at lvl3 except for #14 who has lvl1 xbows, but his mirror is a th7) makes playing for those members very tough.
our lowest th9 is one of those kinds of players needing more time to understand strategies and he’s still learning.
We have very little room for error on this match.

I have a partially eneneered clan. 3 days ago, BEFORE last patch, we matched a lev15 full engeneered clan, with 24 th11 nearsy maxed in offense, 3 th10 and several engeneered th9 and 8 (war of 40).
So, the question is NON engeneered vs not engeneered, but balancing BOTH offense and defense strenght. i.e. if I have 100 off and 200 def, the system should not allow to meet a clan with 100 and 100, but ALSO not meet another with 100 and 300.
I think the search should start with the 2 parameters both considered, and then enlarge the range slowly if not matching anything
Just an update on the above match. Soon after war started one of their maxed 11's left and joined a new clan with a newly established account (TH 3). I'm sure he just had a dispute with the old clan and decided to venture out on his own 😉.Quote:

The last update a few days ago is a huge joke! Yesterday we (#2OQUYRQJ) searched for a 25v25 war over 20 minutes long. Matched with 2 TH11's, 9 TH´10's, 6 TH9's, 6 TH8's and 2 TH6's against 5 TH11's, 6 TH10's, 4 TH9's, 5 TH8's, 3 TH7's and 2 TH6's. Three of their TH11's are almost maxed out , 1 without Infernos & EA and 1 without any defense. Our #1 is almost maxed out but our 2nd TH11 just has Level 3 Infernos und Level 2 EA.
A couple of us are so annoyed that they want to quit the game after this war. Please take the TH level into account for the matchmaking system! It's really that so simple..
currently at the 9 hour mark of our current war search. Good times.

40 minute 20v20 search got us even matching of top bases. We have the edge in hero levels and we got an extra th9 to one of their th8s. No 0.5s on either side. Haven't seen anything this close since MM overhaul. Hope it keeps up.
In practice, what would the effect be? Since your suggestion is to balance ONLY on the highest TH level in war I could put a single TH11, maxed, and then manipulate rest of roster from tens on down. It is also a long slog to max 11 and if you create a system to punish people for being less than max it is like asking them to take a year off from war.Quote:
