War MM & Cannon Cart changes - the FEEDBACK thread!

New War Matching does not appear to take into account the offensive strength at all. We have been matched against clans with max TH 11 OFFENSES, while we have no TH 11s at all.

It means that the opponent will score 100% against us, and we have to struggle to get to 100%.

Until this is fixed, we are taking a break from war..

You might want to try it in the war subforum. It seems to be an appropriate thread for either forum, but you will likely get more feedback in the war one.

What a crazy match-up we got. Seriously, this is ridiculous. We are bringing six TH11 attacks to the party. They are bringing twenty-eight. SuperCell, your war match is a joke.

My clan is fairly standard with non-rushed bases in war. A couple 11, mainly 10s, 9s and 8s. A couple 7s for filler. We have one 9.5 and 2 8.5s but they're rarely all in the same war. Before the changes, we had fairly even matches and very close wars with a decent win percentage. We've had 3 wars since and all have been against highly engineered clans or a severe mismatch. Our current war, we have 2 11s to their 4. I am a max 10 and my mirror is a max 11... Eagle, infernos, all heroes. Last war I was #1 and they had 2 11s. The old matchmaking system was much better than what we have now.

Go back one page in this sticky and read it. If you are putting in any base in war that is rushed, .5, minmax or anything that the system can construe as engineered, than you will find yourself matched against engineered clans.
If you want fair play, don't put those bases in your war.

This is our forth war since the MM update. We have 2 th10, 1 th 9.5 and some th9 (two of them are essentially th8 with queen), some th8 and th6-7, at the bottom. After 3 fair matches, this time we were matched against a heavily engineered clan with 3 th10 defenses (nothing wrong with that. Once we have two th10 defenses, that's an acceptable disadvantage), but they have 3 th11 attacks with warders.
Besides the 3 th 10.5, their clan has many engineered bases and 3 th3 at their bottom.
We are not heavily engineered and we didn't include our lopsided th10 in this war, but that didn't prevent us from been matched against 3 strong th10.5 with low level warders. I will try to keep those early th9 out of wars to avoid that extra queen offensive weight in the future. But i have my doubts if that was what made us been matched against a clan so much offensively stronger that us.
Ps: I'm not complaining about engineering. I'm just giving a feedback, once I beleive avoiding this kind of matches against several bases with th11 offense (when your clan has no th11 offense) was one of the main goals of the new MM. That worked very well on our first 3 matches, but this time the search was obviously flawed.
