Yeah, not much different from pre-update matches. If the opposing clan is good, we'd have to clear 2 11s to have a chance. If the opposing clan is bad, then we get an easy 41-40 match with the potential for more.

So far it's 38-35 in their favor. Only their number 3 and 6 have any quality raids left. We still have 8 townhall 11 raids unused. They are only likely to get 40 stars. We are guanteed 41. On paper, it's a 60-40 match in their favor but it's certainly not that bad. We've had significantly worse odds like our last loss.

I know I'm probably blowing into the wind, but I'd really like a truthful answer to one question. Why can't SC use th as the first thing in matching up clans? At least the first half of the war map. Really how wouldn't this work? Oh rushers get punished, oh engineered get punished. As it is now they are punishing maxes. Once you match th, then you can use offence and defence per th. Sounds super complicated right? Then engineered would truly match up with engineered, maxes with maxes, rushed vs rushed. Instead they keep trying to tweek the mm and not improving anything. All were looking for is a even or close war match. Is that really asking too much?

They could, but there are much better options out there if we are looking for a simple fix that would not make being a new hall a huge disadvantage.

That match is not "very fair" at all as you have a couple of 8.5s facing 8s. It could only be fair if they had 8.5s there too, rather than 8s. Your "very fair" is the enemy's "unfair, as they have extra th9 level offence attacks"... and they'd be right.

I suppose this is just me complaining. But, perhaps others have experience what I'm seeing as a result of the recent update to improve war matchmaking.

My clan is currently facing an opponent w/ TH11s (maxed air troops, low heroes, no defeneses) pitted against our lowly TH6s. And, this is the second time we've faced such an opponent. In a row. Since the update.

What did the update change? How is this better? I know Supercell can (and will) tweak their changes to see what works best as they get more info, but...what kind of testing was done before they released this update? Match ups like this against such severely-engineered bases are pretty bad...

From what I am reading on the forums I believe u r correct that there is an issue with th10 and th11 mm
It would explain why we see complaints about bad matchups and why others say it is fine.
I couldnt care less about complaints from engineers, they have had their advantage for many years so it is ok if they struggle for a while.
But the issue with th10 vs th11 needs solving for sure

Thats where u are wrong. Comparing farming/cup managament to war/match making is like comparing apples to oranges. I guess they are both round.

The point is supercell noticed engineering right off the bat. It developed quickly and the complaints (like in these forums) came shortly thereafter.

Supercell made lots of money off rushed and engineered bases. And thats why they did nothing. And they did nothing for 5 years.

My guess is that clash of clans (village base) is dropping in revenue, and thats why they are trying to "fix" it. People just got fed up with matching against engineered clans.

It's comical, because now supercell is alienating and agitating a huge customer base of rushed and engineered clans.

I guess I could have "un-intended" to make love to the same woman for over 5 years. I guess its possible.

I guess i just think money and business sense are what drives supercell. But i could be wrong.

And i think they are trying to boost revenue. Its kinda risky. Hurt a huge proportion of their customer base, for long term reward. Get the balanced accounts back. Like Jake?

Our first war after update, seems pretty well balanced, we had terrible matchups with a config like that in the past, will see how it goes on future wars.

Throw out all your engineered and lopsided bases from your roster next war and see if it makes a difference.

Ok just did our second war search. Again a joke. I took my th 11 out to see if that will help us get a more fair match, nope. They have 2 th 11 (26/32/20 max troops, 26/25/2) vs our biggest th10 36/36. I'm sure our th10 has no chance to 3 star lvl 5 infernos and x bows, and their th 11s should easily 3 staring our th 10.......very frustrated. You asked for the feedback, our clan is ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
