War MM & Cannon Cart changes - the FEEDBACK thread!

Since update my non engineerered clan facing less defenceless bases, but facing still engineered up top. Wars with th9 n under, no engineers don't stand chance w th11 up top w 4 xbows warden and max drags. We are good war clan and enjoy matches not too lopsided. Wars are better, but still need to tweak algorithm. Why does a game allow itself to get played like this by engineers. How hard is it really to say don't build defenses. Until townhall lvl has minimum weight (lab too), wars gonna stay mismatched often. I feel lil bit fool maxing th9 heroes 30/30 if it means facing only 10/11's in war w bigger armies and better troops, they win even with their low heroes. How is supercell after years not aware that higher th lvls are meant to beat lower th's. It's never even match when one side has bigger army and spells. Though now, bc I did my heroes at th9, I face 10-11's bigger armies, spells AND considerably more def, all bc I did my heroes. Money spent gemming heroes along way was a waste. Hope fixed soon, without war improvements that fix problem, goin wrong direction with people that support game.

We have a slight advantage on Defence, 1 EA, 3 Infernos. Offence we are pretty evenly matched, both have 11 TH11s with GWs, both have similar number of maxed troops.
Should be a close war.

Might be coincidence, but moving war start time and we don't get a heavily engineered Opponent. Also not an Asian clan.


Conspiracy theory starts here..... SC don't want to nerf Engineered Clans, as most of them are Asian, and who owns SC, an Asian company...

Before I can draw any conclusions, I'll wait and see what our next war search brings.

MM has gone beyond a joke!

So my clan just finished up a really good matchup. 15v15, even TH/defense/troops throughout the map. AND the search took literally 2 minutes.

Previously, we've been dealing with pretty garbage matches--pulling 11s, engineers, total imbalance. The difference this time? No TH10s. All TH9 and under and it was fun and great.

...I sat the TH10s in the first place because it was so miserable. This isn't making me want to try them again, that's for sure. Sad though, because my main account is a TH10 and it is an irrelevant burden in many ways. I very much wish SC would fix the issue with TH10s.

We just got a fair matchup on Sat for a change, 4 TH10s to our 3 TH10s but their 4rth had no infernos so basically fair. Rest of the TH9s and TH8s matched up. We won by a point but was close to the finish. The important thing was our TH10's at the top didn't have to face TH11's which means a loss before we even start. Its only one war but hoping they fixed something...

Hi,really hope I am wrong but think clan wars as we new them before the "engineered bases" started appearing have gone,s/c would have to do something drastic to the MMA for it to change,our first 6 wars after update were fair the last 3 just ridiculous we have no th11 in our rosters but keep getting matched against them,7 of them in our last 20v20 war,btw we don't engineer.imao ( and I hope I am wrong ) s/c waited far too long to solve this possibly the revenue stream from them was too much to ignore ,could prove counter productive as if something doesn't happen soon think lots could quit wars.Dont mind tough matches but it's gotta be fair for both sides guys

We need something to change soon. Fair matchups are hit or miss lately. The past two wars we have faced two th11s and we only have low 10s. Its tough to keep my guys motivated with these types of matchups.

Maybe until sc can figure this out they should hire people to manually authorize every war. I alone have spent enough on this game to cover several months salary for someone. Last two wars were over before 2 hours in. Their 1 this time was a th10 with level 2 and 3 infernos, but only level 6 heroes. Our top guy is a th9 with level 12, and 16 heroes. After their 1 3 starred our top 2, their #9, another engineered th10 3 starred our 3 and 4. Same scenario last war.
If supercell wants both fair play, and to allow engineered play style they'll need to figure out how to separately matchmake. Let the engineered crowd have both sides hit 100%, every time. The issue fixes itself. Supercell hasn't banned a playstyle, and it's fair.
Engineered clans only exsist to use a loophole in the algorithm. It is cheating, as far as I'm concerned. I have no issue losing to a better opponent. I despise losing to an opponent that put years less effort into their base, their clan, and is allowed to win. I liken it to a one legged man being given a rocket so they can compete in the Olympics. It is insane.

Since MM change we have been out numbered on TH10/11s every war. We are balanced w no 0.5s or worse. Normally max TH8-TH10 roster. Sometimes no TH8s and sometimes adding 1 TH11. We have won some and lost some. Normally the wins are due to horrible play by the opponents and the losses to spamming of higher TH troops.

My question is why my clan isn't on the other end of this? I can see that things are kinda broken, but how is it always against us? We should have lost every one of our matches going by offensive and defensive strength on paper. We would really like to be matched with balanced opponents and win or lose according to how well we play the game. We've been forced to spend way more effort by attempting league play. And I say "forced" but it is our choice to keep playing when we could quit the game completely. Any hope anywhere that anyone has seen?

And maybe I just missed the update details completely. /sigh
