War MM & Cannon Cart changes - the FEEDBACK thread!

We've had 1 decent war since the new MM algorithm is in play. We are not engineers. Right now we are having our top 2 th11 in war (EA and IT placed on both). We have 0 th10 in due to hero building and people at th10 taking a holiday trip. We're facing off against 2 th11 (ok so far) 2 th10's (no IT's, offensively outweigh the 2 th9 they mirror) and 2 extra th9 on their side (xbows added, needless to say the th8 they mirror stand no chance). We'll have very slim margin of error we can effort, and they have again soooo much offense (advantage) they can bring vs us. MM not fixed imho.

Equal hero levels makes more sense that th level. As long as the defense is still weighted. Heroes + high end defenses will keep it a little closer

Then we create hero engineering. I don't want all equal hall levels. Hall matching is a terrible plan. I just want equal th11s (and I'm a clan with 10.5s so it would be bad for us).

MM times would increase exponentially if ALL ths were matched equally, I also don't see that as a viable solution. However, something needs to be done. Some sort of th "cap" check and balance makes sense to me. Matching th 11s alone I think IS viable, but would likely also increase search time. But what about clans running say a th9 as their highest in war and matching clans with th10 and th11s? IMO, that is a much bigger obstacle to overcome then a clan with 11s matching more 11s. A simple "top th match" check would totally and relatively easily solve that problem. I'll take increased search time over a wasted 47 hours to an absurd match any day.

I've NEVER had matchups like the ones I've gotten since this "fix" has been implemented. An algorithm based on averages can't and never will work(unless you engineer of course) without some sort of top th's check and balance. I feel like every time I read this thread it is just the exact same thing over and over. Everybody seems to have viable solutions EXCEPT SC.

It has been bad for us, 5 losses in a row, only one war was more or less fair, the rest was lost before they started. Also one of them was the worst case of engineering I ever saw, probably only 1 person with almost weak th10's with lvl5 dragons. It's the same thing over and over again, with have no chance against their #1 because it's much stronger than we have. War was the only reason I'm still playing the game so if they take that away as well :mad:

They are clearly engineered, but not very well.
They have 5 TH11 advantage, but we have hero advantage.
Id say we have advantage on defence on our TH10s

looks like a close war, and will be down to how our TH11s perform on first attacks.

War 9 & 10 will prove interesting as it will be 40+ in line up.

pretty even match up. (Our 2nd on the new MM)

Weve added 8 TH10s and 2 TH11s to our lineup and got a fair match up. Don't understand why we don't get one in a 30v30.

Before this war we thought the changes are working but we where wrong. We had the worst match up in a long time. We do have a new TH9 and TH10. Both have not added all defenses as of today. We where matched up with two TH10 and a TH11 the TH11 was rushed with not all defenses is totally engineered with Level 4 Miners. Those Level 4 Miners three star our TH10 and a TH9. The other engineered TH10 opponent 3 star another TH9. We don't have any engineered bases any longer we used to but removed the one no Defense account from our line up. So now we stop engineering and get beat by an engineered clan. It might be because of the new TH9 which I will exclude from war and the TH10 we will put in our line up then after that no new THs to see if that fixed our issue. Supercell your changes are not working.

The only way I can think off to hurt them for the mess they are making is to stop spending money on this game. I stopped when they introduced the builder base and now with this new war matching system they are far away from me spending money again, I'm so mad, I spend 2.5 years on playing this game.

No .5’s this war, we got a maxer clan 15v15, opponent has two extra th9’s, but their heroes are so bad, our number 5 has better heroes than both their th10s.

Not complaining, been a while since we didn’t have to battle some Uber engineered clan or fight up a TH level at the top, it’s about time we get one tipped to our side but it’s very much a mismatch. Mismatching system still seems the same or worse.

Guys, can someone give me a basic run-down on whether focusing on maxing the Cannon Cart is worth the elixir or not? Basically, should I go for Night Witch next or the post-update CC? Giants and Baby Dragons are maxed as well as the Battle Machine.
