Can't buy diamonds - "Billing server not responding"

:(........I have for the past 2 days tried to buy more diamonds for my game, but despite this working fine on Thursday afternoon, since yesterday I can not connect to the billing server to actually buy more. No matter which kind of purchase I select, I get the same message every time. I have uninstalled and re-installed, updated my game centre logged-in and out, signed in and out of the Itunes Store, reset my phone, quit all Apps, tried on WIFI or 3G.......nothing works. I must have tried about 100 times by now and I am getting veryy frustrated and annoyed. I even treid on anotheer Iphone with the same result. I'm really not sure what to do. I never had such problems spending money on something I wanted and something that presumably Supercell wants from me too!? Please help.

"I was really hoping someone had posted help for this issue because this happened to me yesterday also. I can no longer buy diamonds. I am on my Ipad2. I joined this forum just to get help. Not sure what to do now."

When i got that error it was because my bank account didnt have enough $ in it. Oops :rolleyes:

I have plenty of money in my account. My Apple ID Nd method of payment work for everything else I purchase ie apps, music, movies etc... For some reason I can not buy diomonds from this app. I spend $40 a month on this game but the app won't let me buy. I guess my money will have to be spent elsewhere.

Im having this problem also. I can buy apps and music from iTunes and make other in app purchases for other games, just not this one. I've done everything but delete and reinstall app. Reluctant to do that because I've lost all data in other games and don't want to take the risk in this one.

After I've clicked on purchase and entered password I get a message that says to contact iTunes support. Then a second message that says "billing server not responding. Try again later"

Problem started yesterday, 1/21. Game is more fun with diamonds!

I have been able to buy diamonds only very occasionally. The game instructs me to contact the iTunes support, then announces that the billing server is not responding. Sometimes I seem to be able to get through, but that's very rarely. I have no problem with my other iTunes purchases. :mad:

It's been really frustrating trying to play this game without diamonds.

i tried one last thing and I'm happy to say I'm back in the game.

Playing on a iPad2, I went to settings>Safari>clear history, clear cookies

I think it was the cookies that messed me up but I cleared both.

Sorry, I disagree.
You do not need to buy diamonds to play the game. Fair enough there were more hidden in boxes when the game started, but you can get to level 56 and have achieved 57 out of 61 achievements without buying them.

And yes, I have wasted some as everybody by speeding up wheat and I have bought Tom 3 times for 10 days and have extended some machine lines and have now collected 146 diamonds again.

Surely, you will take you time to level up, so not a way of playing for everybody, but it is possible.

Well that was a fluke. Back to not able to buy diamonds. Frustrating, but at least I can play, more than some out there, so I should be happy?

I cannot buy diamonds at all. Apple says my account is fine, ID is fine, all is well. I actually bought a song and spent a buck on a different game and it all was fine. But it will not let me buy anything for this game.

I have NO problems purchasing other items through iTunes, it's this stupid game I can't seem to buy diamonds for. Infuriating, and I'm not alone. Fix the problem on your end.

iOS 7.0.4 has payment issues so that might be your problem there.

billing server not responding .... bummer.
