Who buy the hats well Greg of course !
And I
I allways try to have cloche hat in the shop on my topfarm that and wheat is the only 2 things that dont get sold in a few minutes ,
But I sell so many that the Hatmakers on my farms have to work 24/7 if possible ,
All things is possible to sell in HD , ( wheat 36for 10 I dont know have not tryd )
I knew about the sales with visitor event as a friend told me that they were looking for some for the last event but there isn't another visitor event due for a while and I had put up 10 for sale. The ad eventually dropped off them after four times of applying it and I just left it like that. I put up a load of one coin wheat and someone bought the ten of them then :)
Thanks for your responses, it is always interesting to find out what happens with other farmers XD
I tend to buy any that I need simply because (1) my hat machine is fully upgraded (2) I have lots of money (nearly 43 million) and (3) they are always available. I know of others in my hood that buy them for the same reason...
I make them to use the wool.
They are harder to sell as 10 rather then 4+6 or 5+5
I do. Most of the time.
Its more profitable to sell the wool.
But I have sold them in my shop. Never advertised. Usually had a crate of 10 sitting in the last slot. Probably one crate out of 4 is bought by shoppers buying other things that I have advertised. Leave them there and Greg or Tom will buy them. I think they come around once a day or something like that.
I buy them from other people and sometimes put them in my stall without an advertisement. I like to place a couple of stacks of something nobody will buy first before posting good things for my neighbors. That way if Tom or Greg buy something, they will buy the things nobody wants and it gives my neighbors time to see what's on my stall.
I always buy the red hats when I need them. I think maybe I've made 1 or 2 myself. They were just too plentiful in the DD. Then while shopping one day I ran across someone who seemed to keep several of the hats to buy one at a time in their roadside stand. First person I ever asked to "friend" me!! Usually I'm the one asked since I sell primarily premium stuff but this person I try to keep happy helping them with their boat or anything. I've no idea if they know that I do their jelly boats and things I can just because they stock the red hats one at a time. Lordy I was sick of going through the DD trying to find them in very small amounts so I spoil my red hat seller.
Once again, thank you everyone for your story of how you manage the buying/selling of Cloche Hats :thumbsup:XD
