This is not a post I expected to make: we won! 33-33 on the narrowest of percentages, only 1.63% in it.
Before anyone suggests this means the match wasn't a bad one, here is why we weren't at all expected to win on paper: big offence advantage to the enemy and also a small defence advantage to the enemy. Them on a streak of 10, a streak length they'd had several times before, us on a streak of 4, which was our best for a long time. The site cocp.it shows we generally manage 34 stars in a 15v15 while they generally manage 38. Outgunned 14th11 to 10, 14 wardens to 10, 13 eagles to 10.
So how did we do it? It was something the matchmaker couldn't account for. Not our stellar attacking because frankly we can be complete duffers sometimes and did no better than usual. Not Martian mind power, or any other planetary force. Here is what it was:

Yes, we owe this to a th10 and 5 th11s failing to come to grips with two variations on a WingedBrew anti-3 th10 design, then getting stuck obsessed by taking down that rather than taking the third star on an easier th10 base design sitting just above it on the map (88k vs 89k gold defence weight). Here is the design, 2 variations on number 1 with a fair amount of tweaking:
