Tranferring of leadership in clan...

i would like to draw your attention on an important clan member... "The leader"... sometimes the person holding leadership lost their account or go inactive forever... in that case the highest position got clogged by an inactive account and noone can remove them... i would like to request a feature of transfer of leadership in a clan by a clan poll, in case new leader needed... after the poll result the winner becomes New leader automatically.... thanks... i hope my idea is unique and appreciated by most of the coc members facing leader's inactiveness

if your leader is inactive than just contact supercell, this will never be added in game though...

I totally agree with the idea. I wish there was an easy way to implement it. Just last night in global there was a clan that had an inactive leader that died quite suddenly - he had a real life friend in clan that knew the situation - but now there is difficult clan leadership situation. I believe they were level 12 or 13. Tough to restart.

This feature would get abused what if the clan just decides they dont like the leader and holds a poll then tbe poor unliked leader loses tbe clan he created and worked hard to build up

if they like they will poll. we just cant take anyone's leadership without consent of members

Well if the members don't like the leader then it may be just his/her fault haha

the poll only came to effect after the long inactiveness of the leader

yes people makes someone the leader is their own decision no need for blaming coc

When your leader goes inactive and you contact SC support in game, they will transfer leadership to the longest serving co leader. Happened in a clan I was in a couple years ago. I think any other system would be open to abuse.

This idea can be abused in so many level.

There is already a system in place on how leadership is transferred should SC support determine that the current leader is justifiably inactive. The leadership goes to the next available CO. I am not sure how the system determines which CO the leadership goes to as I have seen two methods described.

1. The title goes to the CO that holds the CO title the longest.
2. The title goes to the CO that has the highest trophy count.

In either case, the leader title does not go to some random member of the clan that members voted for.

If you and your fellow clan members do not like how the leader is inactive then you are free to form your own clan. You and your fellow clan members are not entitled to take over a clan that someone else built and worked hard to a point that the clan is now desirable for you to take over. If you want to be the leader of a clan, create one and make yourself the leader. If you think someone else should be the leader then give them the clan that you just created.

Note that hat you need to be very clear.

Your Leader's account is lost. It has been inactive 6 month. You want Leader transferred to the ranking Co-Leader.

6 months. In the meantime, a Co-Leader can do everything required of a leader.
There no co-leaders? Rare. Get help earlier.
Is everyone a Co-Leader? Several need demoting? Abandon the clan and find a better one.
