The one and only " War search after update" thread

We met a perfectly engineered clan a year back - that little TH10 sitting at the bottom had lvl30+ heroes and 3 starred our number 1 :) We have done a little engineering to stay competitive in most war scenarios - and let me suggest that getting the Elixir/DE necessary to max out troops is an immensely difficult job in a defenceless base. Respect is due - for perseverance if nothing else - to anyone who has managed a defenceless TH11 with maxed heroes and troops :)

On a different note, we need a new way to evaluate "war weight" to include offensive troop strength. I haven't seen any suggestions for how to do that or am I missing something?

So my clan's slightly engineered (Aus Titans, tag #LJG9RR9L). Only 2 defenseless th9 (th8 level drags), 1 defenseless th7, and 2 minimax th9s, a max th8, along with 4 th8.5s, and 2 9.5s (one only finished th10 upgrade a week ago). We did a match an hour ago (5.55pm Australia time) and we got matched with a clan with a th4, a th5, and remainder th9s to th11s (clan tag #Q988R0JR if you're interested in our opponent). Keep in mind that we do 15v15 wars so our data might not be the same as yours' but there you have it.

First war since the update and it is by far the worst ever.
Us 17 th11, 14 with eagles and high heroes (85 combined minimum) 13 th 10 with, 8 with infernos (43 combined heroes is the lowest, then 51+ )

Them 27 th11, 10 with eagles, 19 have maxed heroes and troops, rest have either maxed bowlers,valks,baby d,drags,miners, loons,lavas (some or all) 20 is a max th10,27 an infernoless th10 with 30/30 heroes, 29 another 10 with no infernos and 25/28 heroes and 30 a no walls,low defence 11 with 11/11/6 heroes and just max drags and zap.


In summary, us 20 max hero th11 attacks,various troops n spells missing
Them 38 max hero th11 attacks,all max troops n spells
Us 10 "strong" th11 hero and troop attacks, 5 "mid" th 11 hero and troop attacks
Them 10"strong" th11 attacks,3 "mid" th11 troop and hero attacks and 1 th11 mass drag zapquake attack

They have 408 wins, I know this is not factored in the search,just an indicator of their success.

War starts in 11 hours, I will post results tomorrow

Out of interest I just looked at the oppo clan. The 11s are engineered as well, no xbows/inferno/eagle. 1 of their 11s doesnt have a warden and gold walls (thats if those couple of accounts are in the current war)

Our own war matchup last night matched closely. 2 semi max 10s, max 9s and and a couple of th8s vs 3 semi max 10s, some mid/max 9s and some 8s with low filler (10v10 due to red light issues)

War over ..we won by 87-86...they could not get more then 1 star on our th11...luck i guess

Next war search is done aswell...
Looks better..a bit better bases then us but not close to as hard first search was ...maybe it will be a few wars until we see better results

yeah these new matchups are crazy as. all of our engineered accounts are getting reworked and all us th9s are moving into getting bows, 9.5s considering infernos, so we'll see how many wars we can tie in a row

Looks like we're going to beat these talentless engineered hacks. All they had was either spam max lava loon or spam max miners. Anything over a low Th10 they struggled with.

If this is indicative of the mass engineered TH11 clans with low defences... looking forward to seeing them sooking about losing in here.

War search yesterday night. Ended up with am engineered clan. We are

1 Mid level TH11
1 one day old TH11
1 heavily rushed TH11 (finding a reason to kick him as his war stars are around zero)
8 TH9 in various levels of upgrades
9 TH8 in various levels of upgrades
4 TH7
1 TH4

Opponents
5 TH 11 (Two on top rest spread around)
1 TH 10 down bottom
6 TH 9 spread around
6 TH 8 spread around
4 TH 7
3 TH 6

So where was the tweaking done?

in my engineered clan we have been searching for a war since the MM update was released, to no avail... we tried changing roaster, inserting more "regular" villages (max def&atk th8), but no result.... at present moment we have a war search that has been going since 4 hours, with : one th11 with th9 defences and maxed th11 offense, 4 regular maxed th8, one egineered th11 with th6 defences and lv.6 dragons and maxed heroes...4 th3 post-tutorial to fill the holes in order to be 10vs10... no results

Should be interesting. It will probably come down to the two Th11 hits on my th10.5. Been a while since I was 3 starred in war. Now with the srinkwrap gone, I should be able to clear the TH10 easily.

We are definitely engineered, but mainly because our guys are bored and just want to have fun with max dragons.

We generally go the 10.5 route.
A few of us have left out bombtowers
One of the th10 doesn't have bombtowers or mortars
