If the DE store has 40k+ in it, I beleive 3 lightning @ level 4 could get you just over 1000 DE, given the +50% bonus. Not brilliant, but decent, and yes it will be somewhat annoying to them (although personally I do wonder what the heck a TH10 is doing at such a low trophy count, so maybe it won't, they probably get loads of that from TH7).
If you can get the DE drills near full, there's potentially thousands in those alone for you, if they are high level (check that out first). A single lightning strike to one can be quite good - 2 lightning strikes destroys it, so some is wasted. But if your ground troops can get at it, even better.
Do not use lightning on anything but DE - you'll get back nothing compared to what you spent.
Good luck - I expect you might have to be lucky to find them with loads of DE stored, and also quite lucky to find their drills getting full - TH10 with loads of DE, that don't empty their pumps often, tend to hang out at much higher trophy levels.
