There is 0 point and a waste of resources in battling a clan where you know 100% you will lose unless everyone in that clan disconnects during their war attacks.
There needs to be a "surrender" button, if a clan is matched up against extremely lopsided base.
Its a waste of resources to have your player commit meaningless suicide in a war that is impossible to win.
Great idea then I can surrender until I get a match up in my favor. Except then the opposition will surrender cause its not in their favor
If that's how you feel, you don't have to waste your resources. Just don't attack. That's as good as surrendering
Theres every point to attacking firstly you cant be sure the enemy will attack secondly even in defeats the clan xp will still increase and thirdly clan morale in my little opinion plus if anyone in my clan wanted to just give up and not bother attacking its a one way trip through the clan door for them

Since you did not submit any details I will extrapolate and suggest that this surrender button can be used to troll other clans by surrendering 1 minute before battle day starts.
If you do not want to waste the resources and do not care about the win then just do not attack and take the loss. If what you are asking for is virtually the "Next" button in war, then there are some ramifications because you are not the only one getting affected.
Adding a surrender button would make it easier for clans to lvl up, as they'd get the War XP from beating bases, then surrender after all the bases are beat, then start another war directly after.

I think that the only sort of plausible ways around that would be that when a clan surrenders, the war cool down timer will include the remaining time of the war (i.e. 8 hours left on war day, if war ends prematurely, then those 8 hours are a part of the cool down time in between wars). My only issue with this would be the time to replenish resources and other things during a war, but it would stop the potential for surrenders.Quote:

Seems fair to me. Anyone who surrenders at that point just proves that they aren't willing to try. At least they save themselves the resources
Please correct me if I am wrong but isn't this what happens today should a clan choose not to attack and take the loss? Well the exception perhaps is that the winning clan would know that they can loot and\or practice without the fear of the opponent coming back with a trojan horse.Quote:
