War Hoppers WARNING!

So we get a lot of new people who come to the clan, join the war and leave without doing any attacks causing the clan to easily lose a war.

My suggestion is if someone leaves without using their attacks, in their profile next to "Eligible in 8 hours" you have a note that says "2 Unused Attacks", or "Kicked With 2 Attacks Left", just so any new clan they join KNOW and can ask why or why not. This will make people NOT hop from clan to clan and cause annoying loses for people who take the game serious. You can even have a stat that says how many War Attacks They Missed (permanently) which will guarantee they never do it because it will tarnish their record. This way a lot of good clans can just simply check the players stats to find out if they are war hoppers or not.

I like this idea and can see how it could help lots of clans but my clan doesnt recruit any bases with wartimers and just incase a timewaster sneaks into my clan we dont let any new base war for 7 days thats soon sorts out the hoppers from the serious

Thanks for the reply. Yes I agree that established clans know how to work around this issue. But there are lots and lots of clans that are kinda starting out and need every member they can. And no new member will stick around for seven days before they can be added into war. So this would be perfect for thousands of not so established clans. Its tough getting new players because most people just want to be put directly in war. Thanks again!

What catches my eye is the "come into a clan, join the war" part. That should never be permitted. Thats the fix right there is to stop allowing that. It has nothing to do with established vs new clans. A new clan will never become established if they are allowing stuff like that. Any leader trying to make things happen needs to make his first priority to have good organization and control going on. A properly managed situation. Its usually the ability to do that which separates a truly qualified clan leader from the guys that just think they would be great if they had the power and a shiny badge.

Thats not true that no new member will stick around for 7 days. Most wont, but those are the ones you dont want so the good part of the 7 days is how it gets rid of them without them hurting anything. The few that do understand why the wait and stay through it are the quality guys you need to get an established clan. Likewise, if the clan gets one of those decent guys in and he is watching a weak leader getting walked all over he is not going to stay that first week himself even if he is getting into war. He is not going to want to give his time and effort to such a thing.

BTW - Have you considered checking guys's achiements? Its not foolproof but generally a guy with a lot of war stars earned is the guy that tends to do his job when he is in one.

Suggest that before you let them in the clan and especially before you let them in war check clash of stats. It will show their history of clan hopping.

You can also tell a new member they have to set out one war. If they are still around after that, they will probably be okay. But Clash of Stats will solve 90 percent of it.

In a year and a half, I've had one person do that.

If they're not willing to wait and follow the rules of the clan you don't want them anyways. If you want to build a new clan you need a solid base of dedicated players. Not just anyone off of global

Clans with effective leadership usually do not have these problems. Usually.

Its a good idea but why in godsname you let New people play in wars?! Than you get this shizzle

I both agree and disagree with your Idea!
This could have an Bad Impact on the player. maybe the player doe not likes to waging war. let others play in their own desired way and Move ahead thinking and considering a new Idea.:).

I think what would be nice and similar to this, or even in addition to this, is to have a way to see how many clans they have joined. The caveat being how many DISTINCT clans they have been in. Lets face it there are many players who hop back and forth between brother/sister clans.

It's a good idea to see unused attacks alongside with war timer and definitely it gives blow to hoppers . Supercell should give it a thought....
