Are you tired of accidental attacks?

First off sorry if this is in the wrong sub forum. Please move if necessary.

I didn't see any thing about this in the sticky and I have been thinking about this for a long time. It would be nice if there was a button on the left side of the attack screen that said "attack" and you would have to press it in order to start an attack. This would prevent people from dropping lightning spells or troops when they don't mean to. I know I have this problem all the time I hope this would help.

Sorry for the poor picture my editing skills are very limited;)

EDIT: Many people have brought it to my attention that it would be must easier if you had to select a troop before attacking. I completely agree that this could work and could be a very good alternative. For those of us who are more visual or for people who just like the button idea better i think that it is also not out of the question and is still an idea worth thinking about.

I support this idea. Although it isnt too bad while farming accidental attacks when trophy hunting really suck.

I think theres an easier way

Just dont have any troop automatically selected, so even if you tap, nothing will be deployed unless you tap a troop, then tap the screen
Am I right??

Yeah this would work but I think it would get confusing sometimes if you tap a ton of times expecting a troop to be deployed and then realize you haven't selected a troop. With the button i think it would be more visual. There could be the same problem with it though so whatevers easier works I guess.

Personally I would rather have a "Previous" button.

It is annoying though, especially when you're caring about trophies. I normally do it when tired and about to fall asleep. Plus with loot being terrible recently I've been falling asleep pressing next a lot.

The easier solution is to not start the battle with a troop selected, and have you select the troop before beginning to attack/drop.

I think a previous button would be too much. If you press the next button a million times in a row it can become quit easy to skip bases but you arn't losing any trophies from it. Also if we had to save the previous base so we could go back and attack if we wanted it would slow down the searching process and no one wants that.

Yes, this would work and also one more idea (Just in case :p)
When you tap for the very first troop it will say, are you sure you want to attack this base?
If you press yes it will place the troop and carry on as usual.
If you press no it won't go to the next match, it will just remove the popup and you can again chose to attack or press next or whatever you do.

Good idea Phil, I like it! Either the way you made it (good job btw!) or just having nothing selected (which might be easier to implement) is fine by me! I don't do it often, but like everyone, I definitely have accidentally attacked a base I didn't want to before.

Somethings gotta give!

I accidentally put a troop down this morning. Gggrrr. There was less than 15k each of gold & elixir and the opportunity to lose 30 trophies if I lost! : /

So I just had to 1 star the base and move on. :mad:

Select troop then attack would be SO incredibly useful! I don't know how many times I accidentally bumped a finger here or an elbow there to set off a lone barbarian on an impenetrable base... This would be very nice to see in the game.

I think forcing the attacker to choose a troop or spell would be enough. A confirmation dialogue on top of that would simply be annoying.

Agreed. Accidental drop while farming is like, oh well.

During a trophy push it's noooooooooo!!!!

Like the other thread I saw recently, forcing the player to select their troop/spell would be best. We just need SuperCell to stop auto selecting our lowest tier troop for us.

Accidental attacks are part of life
