The Town

Oh, and to answer your question. No there doesn't seem give much benefits in town.

There doesn't seem to be anything to work for (buildings, deco, etc). Its getting quite boring. I also, don't do truck.

And might I add, lately, I haven't been able to finish my boats! Either I don't have the machine to get make anything (hot dog, tea, taco, and pasta kitchen), or I can't get the ingredients to make the item. I can't find the ingredients in the paper, and don't have ANY real money to hire Tom! Even puzzle boats are impossible!

This is getting to be a very depressing game. If there is nothing to work for in the next big update, I just may have to stop playing altogether, delete the game from my tablet and phone and add a whole new game, maybe (REDACTED)? A friend had mentioned that game.

I totally disagree. I get great benefits from working my town. Unlike boats, I can service my townies when I want, not within a timeframe. I can choose to give them what they want or send them to the platform for my neighbors to pick up. When I first got my town, it was a little overwhelming with all the requests. You just have to prioritize, then collect coin, xp, and tools. All the tools are a big help in my NH. Between all of us, no one has to scrounge through the paper looking for those last tools. We just go see what our townies give us.

You've been saying this for quite a while, and you also seem to be quite upset with game lately. Why not spend your coins on these machines? Then you might enjoy the game more??

There are a ton of benefits to playing the town, as many have already stated. Coins, xp, drops, no set time in which to serve, smaller orders than trucks and boats, etc.

Unless you need the space to install a new game, I suggest you don't uninstall HD but instead take a break to play other games. A few years ago, like many players before me, I reached the point where the game wasn't fun anymore so I stopped playing and waited for Team Hay Day to release new content. I tried other games and played until I got bored with them. Then Team Hay Day released a new update and I started playing regularly again.

Supercell's philosophy is to make and develop games people will play for years and years. I'm speculating when their numbers show session counts declining, they will release new content to energize their player base. So I suggest we go with the flow of game development: Play as long as HD is fun; stop playing when it isn't fun; start playing again when there's new content.

Rinse and repeat. :)

I love the town too. Lots of XP and BEM, etc. If the visitors are too greedy you can send them away.

Town and pets (esp horses) best way to get expansion materials and blue stars.

Also buy all the machines you can as they become available so you can service all the requests that customers may bring to someone at your level.

The most pointless people are those who walk up to the farmhouse to buy whatever you have most of.
