Was just trying to move around, I play with speed, accidentally rushed a Cacaos Tree for 12 diamonds. I more rubbed it that double tapped it.
Really want to rage quite right now!
Shouldn't be able to click the diamond button and confirm both in less than 0.1 seconds!
Already had 100 Cacaos in inventory...

I usually have this type of problem when I am actually trying to scroll around the farm. I know I want to go quite a distance across so I do a couple of quick short scrolls that the game interprets as a actions--select an action and confirm that action. In my case, it usually results in a chopped down original tree.
As I've posted many times--virtually any time this topic comes up; and it comes up so often that it is unbelievable to me that SC hasn't done something about it--my idea of a solution is the lovely window that pops up when I try to queue a diamond ring in the jewelry maker. SC already has the graphics and the code; just apply it to every place that requires the expenditure of diamonds. Whatever they do, it need to involve a deliberate choice, not something that is a default "confirm".
I used to post a screen shot of the diamond ring window until photobucket cut us all off. Anyone can see how this works by trying to queue a diamond ring. I promise you won't lose a diamond like the OP lost 12.
I'm sorry. I wish SC would find a better way for diamond conformations but it is how they make money so I understand if they are hesitant.
Does this promote spending money though? I'm considering just spending up my diamonds (never saving any) to avoid mistaken loss, you can't lose what you don't have. I'll surely NEVER pay for diamonds again after this!Quote:

it was terrible at one time, so Much so, my farm still has everything spaced at a certain distance from any kind of accidents.
if you want to lower your diamond count, invest in extra slots where you need them... Always a good investment!
You can get reimbursed (in diamonds) for such a mistake, but you need to be persistent and I doubt you will get relief twice. As wussypuss says, you may want to save your reimbursement request in case there is a bigger slip down the road.
I spent 84 diamonds on a raspberry mocha and was able to get the diamonds back after a little back and forth.
I agree about contacting support. I'd save it for a bigger loss. I've accidentally speeded up wheat with diamonds so I know your pain. However I also unwittingly spent 90 diamonds on a statue I didn't want and with a little to and fro from support I got it refunded as a one time thing. I'd save your refund for when you will inevitably have a massive loss with accidental clicking!!
