I'm using a galaxy s8, and previously my games resolution would mean menus are small and more detailed, it just happened today that everything is huge (menus, icons, etc) , which makes the game harder to navigate and just not as good as before really.
Is there any way to fix this and revert back to older resolution settings?

This is actually how they should look in the mobile version. That device for some reason had the tablet resolution, so it was smaller then it was supposed to be. Now you have the correct size. Yes, it looks bigger, but as for most visual changes, it might take a little bit of time to adapt to it.

Yea mines the same and it's gone from one extreme to the other and now is way to big. It's making the newspaper hell as it now takes ages to scroll through what people are selling. Me personally would like it to go back to how it was
I have the exact same problem with the graphical interface on my Galaxy S8+
It happened "over night" I just loved the smaller setup with small menus and all the details.
Now it is far too big which is annoying and makes it hard to operate the game.
Why not make it possible for us users to manually select which size we want?
e.g. if some users want the Tablet version on their cell phones.
Offcourse galaxy s8 plus have tablet resolution, because it's display is huge. And what you mention about normal display really looks abnormal on s8+. Please try what you call your normal display on S8+ in your lab. And who said we need correct size? We want our old size back.Quote:

The phone resolution is really anoying.
Please request to have an option to change the resolution or restore it back to the tablet resolution.

Totally agree, I will not play further until fixed, one way or the other, meaning that I will stop buying diamonds and everything else I spend money on in this game. It is almost impossible to play this way.
The rest of my family are having same the same problem.
This new update has ruined my favorite game. My S8+ might be a large phone but it is not a tablet, by far. I'm at a major disadvantage now when it comes to trying to snag sale items. I can only view 2 items at a time and when I click on an ad, it shows me only one row of items instead of two. They are so jumbo sized that I have to hold the phone far away from my face. It's absolutely terrible. This is the only game I play and I spend money on it for diamonds. The advantage would be that I won't be wasting time playing a game on my phone so much. I wager you will lose a lot of Hayday players and that will cost you money for sure. Please take into strong consideration giving us an update to fix this. Thank you!Quote:

I agree with the s8+ needing to have tablet resolution. It's very inconvenient for such a drastic change. The newspaper is rediculous. I miss everything because it takes me so long to swipe through the pages. Also, there are no details of what I have stored in my barn when I have an item from a machine selected. My shop takes forever to scroll through instead of having two rows. And as silly as it sounds, I enjoy the pictures of the places on the tasks on the board. Everything just looks tacky being so large, and the game has a sloppy feel to it now. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK! I love this game but now it just seems to make me frustrated instead of having an enjoyable experience.
I have signed up to this forum just because after few hours of changing settings I realized the graphical issue is not on my phone and it was the part of the newest update. I have spent quite a lot of time and money on all Supercell games but this is the first time I feel the need to complain. I have tried to get used to the change but the game is simply too frustrating to play now, especially the market and newspaper are now too annoying - with 4 times larger icons it is really frustrating to scroll 4 times longer marketplace (it was already a lot of scrolling before the update), especially giving the fact the size was perfectly fine before the update. Not only the newspaper is now many times slower to browse but also there is almost half amount of the items. The Clash of Clans icons and layout size is ok, so I believe it is just an issue of Hay Day (it now looks like some kind of strange "bad vision mode"). I can imagine this size could be ok on 4/5" screens but on 6.4" it is simply too much and it should be allowed to get the layout back (simply allow "tablet mode" in advanced settings or something like that for this big screens). I have compared it and the phone has, in reality, larger icons than my double sized tablet. Although it would be sad to stop playing the game just because of this annoying change in the graphic layout. I especially feel quite angry because I have made $50 purchase (Europe prices) just a few hours before the change. I believe the update should change the gameplay but I couldn't really expect the game could change so drastically to become annoying to play. Is this issue going to be addressed? If the change is meant to be frustrating for Samsung s8 plus users, is it safe to use the refund feature (still have around 36 hours to use the refund) - I have already used 200 out of 1500 diamonds, I have never used refund before but I believe it is the right reason for using it.
Looks like the mods of the forum dont really care for user feedback mate. I think im just going to delete the game and not going to spend any more on there games.Quote:
