Back to normal

Who's excited that now this past weeks derby is over that the DD will go back soon to being some what normal again lol. No more pages of the harvest crops from the derby! How long do you all think it'll take for it to go back to being "normal". I'll guess 3 maybe 4 days. Maybe SC will learn something from this past Harvest derby to include all types of different crops and not just the ones that were in this past Harvest derby. More of a variety would be wonderful. But I'm happy no matter what:)!

I am very happy - I hope the special derbys are far less frequent as it make as real mess of the newspaper

The newspaper was like a minor inconvenience to me especially because I knew it was coming. There no sense in continuing to gripe about something that you knew was going to happen and can't change. I am not particularly glad its over its just over for me. I am on the team who enjoyed the harvest derby and want them to continue.

Absolutely! Too many players do know to wait for the visitors, or their silo is too small, and they also want full price.

Our hood quite enjoyed this derby. It gave us a reason to play everyday without being glued to the game for a full day or 2, non-stop. And it challenged us to figure out what point range we needed to be in to finish top 3. We did finish 3rd, and averaged about 340pts per task.

As far as the DD, I usually have no barn space to shop for things other than crops, so the overload of tomatoes and potatoes did not effect my game. I can appreciate that it was a huge change for those that do shop frequently.

Mine is still all spuds and the like. I sold mine to Greg & co as I couldn't be bothered putting them up for sale. And just occasionally, behind a potato advert is something worth buying...

Do you not remember the DD being full of corn and strawberries from previous themed derbies?
