I like the idea of a "Green Grocer" or make it a roadside stand for fruits, veggies and honey (oh my, I'm not believing I said that!) .
I think a Tool shop would be nice, except instead of a visitor asking for tools, we could store our tools there for a price in coins. It could free up barn space, and give us something to spend coins on. (I'm sure this isn't happening).
One other idea would be a school, where snacks would be served, or there could be a "mini-puzzle" to solve.
Like everyone's ideas for a new shop in town.
Maybe a shop to sell all those deco's we have lots of. :D

What I would want in the town requires 2 new machines on the farm. I've already suggested it several times, and to no avail. Given up on suggesting machines for now. Or town buildings.

There was talk in the past of folks wanting herbs and flower beds in farm so we could have a corresponding florist shop in town, or as Daz mentioned we could use a farmers market to just sell fruits and veggies. Or a desert shop to sell the new candies, pies and cakes that will use the "ahem" "new nuts we need to get"?
Would still love a seaside wharf for charter boats to send townies out for a day of fun in the sun on the ocean. Boat can be upgraded just like shops in town. We obviously have to sell them something so it could be red lures (only), hats and snacks we already make.
Please work on the townhaul as Daz has outlined a plan for. Really really need that bad.
Yes we definitely need a new town building but the town space is so small we would surely need a little more land for it

Love, love, love the idea of a NH-only RSS located in the town. That's just brilliant!
I also adore the idea of being able to sell off unwanted deco. Even better if there was a way to trade these items to other players. I personally don't want a dozen cellos, but someone somewhere might.
I'd also like to bring over an idea from the "input needed" thread: mini games. What if the new building was an arcade? It could have puzzles to solve, games like skee-ball or bowling, or mazes, or hidden-item pictures, or whatever... Something active for us players to do other than simply drop products on townies and wait wait wait.... and wait.
