Anyone care to race to Masters League? If you are interested, reply to this thread with your name, clan, and current trophies and I will add you to the list.
Here's the rules:
1) You must be TH5 or lower.

Masters is just to up there. Maybe crystal 2 or 1
I wish you luck, TH 6 maybe.. Especially if you have good CC troops...i have seen people Barch their way up there, but that is with level 5 and 6 troops, only shooting for 50%

I think the OP meant starting at TH 5 and able to go to other THs as well, racing to master league with any upgrades, not just at TH 5.

I attacked a Th 7 who was in masters the other day. I had no idea there were th 7's in masters, but I had the fortune to find one and take 25 trophies from him which gave me my peak rating of 2630 trophies!

I can't see any useful strategy except to snipe TH, even my alt-TH6 I can't see winning any other way as 150 level 3 troops are just too weak to get 50% against even a dead TH9, and the closer you get to Masters the smaller and smaller the % of exposed TH...
At least a TH7 can brew mass dragons, rage, etc etc and pick off TH that are only "lightly" guarded, and/or work the outsides for 50% with 200 troops...
OP definitely meant you trophy hunt to masters while being TH5 or under, it is do-able but only if you have an extreme patience, you will be searching 45+ minutes to find an exposed townhall but goodluck anyways :D

Jack is making an argument that it's not impossible for a TH5 to make it to masters based on the fact th 4's have been in crystal 3. Yeah, I never said Jack made a good arguement. In fact, he makes the very same logical mistake that Tom does, and that mistake is extrapolation. There being THs snipe in crystal doesn't (necessarily) mean that the same can be said for masters. Likewise, I'm going to assume (oh boy :p) hat Tom derived his position (that there are none) from taking the trend of declining numbers of exposed THs in silver, gold, and crystal, and expects the trend to continue into masters. Obviously, both are incorrect arguments, but one still has a valid conclusion. If you, I, or anyone else tried to point out all the cruddy forms of argument around here, we would drive ourselves mad. Heck, I find pointing out and correcting false conclusions to be a full time job, let alone the arguments behind them lol.Quote:
