A new feature:

What: lake or well of desires. It can be an interactive deco or can be placed in the other side of the river.

Why: we have lot of money. 1 time each day allow us to ask a desire of any material in particular. For example planks. And we have 3 options like Tom.

1000 gold: 1 material or if we dont have luck a fish.
5000 gold: 3-5 materials or 3-5 fish or feathers.
10.000 gold: 7-10 materials or 7-10 fish/ feathers/lobsters.

Like a purchase in the RSS but better. We spend money and can win materials or products. High levels have lot of money and dont know what to do with it.

Best ideas come trying to sleep. Someone in this thread asked for a bigger lake deco. So my idea is that. A giant lake (7×7) and in the middle each 24h will merge a golden fish, of course, to ask the desire. We will have excess of fish (all days we dont have our desire acomplished). In that lake we can place 2 new pets: a couple of swans (cost golden vouchers and eat fish). If we already asked the desire the golden fish will submerge until tomorrow.

The 3 options of money (1000,5000,10000) is to let all levels use this new feature.

The above is a fantastic idea! I was wondering how Team Hay Day could motivate us to fish more often. Swans which eat fish will fill this need. But wait, there's more.

Some of us will do boats more often just to get the golden vouchers to buy the lovely swans. I hope THD will consider your idea.

New Feature

What: On the derby board, for the special derbies, indicate the time remaining on the special tasks that have been taken, rather than the original length of time the task is allotted.

Why: We have recently learned that special derby tasks are limited to 4 of each type, the "type" beign either basket tasks or dedicated "single" tasks like (this week) wool, goat milk, or bacon. If we are only getting a max of 4 of each kind, then it would be very helpful to be able to look at tasks that have been taken and see how much time is left to complete them. That would give us a max time to plan for when another task might be available. While the neighbor might finish earlier, time left vs time originally allotted would still be more helpful.

Can you make the animations of The cowboy and The actress in the towns quicker?

Our roadside shop is for us to sell our products for gold coins. I wish we could have one slot in there for us to "sell" our gold coins for products and even other things like lures or vouchers. For example, if I were in need of 1 gold voucher to get a certain pet, I could sell 20 purple vouchers for it, or 500,000 gold coins for it. And if I were in need of last 5 wood panels, I could sell 100 nails for them. It would be a more open and direct way to trade. I would be playing more if so.

Nicks comment that people would be 'confused' doesn't make sense, just TELL people it has been changed (the same way sneak peeks are done in game).

What: Sanctuary - seriously. What. Is. The. Point? It needs to have a purpose. We need to be able to do more than feed/wake every 10 hours.

Why: Because it's a game and games are 'played'.

if a task has been taken rather than trashed refresh immediately in the same way the truck board is refreshed.

why - if tasks are taken rest of neighbors should not be penalised by having to wait for refresh.


what - Scroll through neighbors RSS
allow scrolling through neighbourhood RSS same as you can do with friends

why - with the change in game play with the introduction of neighbourhood players like to check what their neighbors have for sale first to help them out.


what - townsfolk release
make it easier to release a townsfolk who has more shopping to do.

why - with the introduction of specific townsfolk to fully serve in derby it has become an integral part of game play to have townsfolk fully served waiting for release when derby tasks appear. This will help lower level players with limited town capacity to take on more train task.


what - passenger pickup
allow the pick up of passengers from multiple neighbours on the one trip.

why - to help lower level players increase town rep. If a neighbour only has one passenger to pick up and train capacity it seven they will get passed over for someone with more passengers therefore not getting the increase in rep by having passengers picked up.


what - visiting neighbors towns on train
be able to visit one neighbors from another you are already visiting.

why - it is frustrating and time consuming to have to go back to your town after visiting a neighbor before you can visit next neighbors


what - set advertise default to No in RSS

why - because most of the time you want to put everything in your RSS and set ad on last one. Also sometimes you do not want to advertise but leave items in shop for friends and neighbors to discover when they help. Once you advertise you cannot take the ad off just have to wait the three hours. If you forget to advertise it is easy to check the box later.

For the neighborhood feature I would like to see a bulletin board added where a short message can be posted by leadership for all neighbors to read.

The reason is that, though we have Telegram, not all members are open to accessing an outside feature like that or kik or FB to get a message. We do not want to use the neighborhood motto area to communicate, especially for derby strategy where everyone from competing neighborhoods can read. Just something that stands out unchanged in the chat scroll at the top, with that many characters would help a lot. Thank you.

1-I would like to be able to pick up my neighbour's passengers from more then one neighbour's town at a time.

2-Yes, please get rid of the slow antics of the town's folk once they have been served.

3-I don't need a fish card popping up after catching each fish. No time for that! Just let me know if I've caught something new to I can collect my stars lol.

Thats all I can think of now. ��

Allow us to trade expansion items within the group only- even if only thru donation requests. Hopefully this would cut down on the bots that so many of us have a problem with.

I agree with much suggested here. I would like to get my last two horses and some new pets on the farm. Peafowl, geese, owl, just something new. Peafowl could supply feathers for new hats as the hatmaker is under utilized. Puzzle pieces are really killing the joy for new sanctuary animals. More animals in sanctuary would be nice. (Zebra, gazelle, water buffaloes, cranes, vultures) I would also like to decorate around the waterfalls with new flowers and plants. Extra fishing or clam areas on river would be helpful. Fishing area is to small and net/trap maker over loaded. Digging clams along the river would be fun and offer new things to make. Doubling the size of the fishing area would help a lot. Separate the nets from the traps giving the traps their own machine. Fix the bee glitch and possibly more bees or a second bee tree. (Peach and berry candles) How about some new gems or metals in the mine and speed up smelters. Way to slow! Jewelry maker sits empty most of the time. Copper, rubies, emeralds, sapphires, opals would open up a lot of possibilities for clothing (weaving machine) and jewelry. New smoothies using what we already have.

1. What: setting your own default coin cost for items in the RSS. Why: There are many reasons to put items in the RSS, wouldn't you love to change what you consider the default price for your items?? Whether that's going in the advanced setting or doing this all in the barn or the RSS is up to hay day.

2. What: Creating a user generated favorite items to sell list. Why: for those that often sell 10 wheat at 1 coin or sell 10 cream for max profit, wouldn't it be great to just go to the favorites (Maybe dub "best sellers list") and instead of scroll and click and hold buttons to sell multiple stalls of the same 10 items in 5-15 stalls. Very repetitive. Best sellers list doesn't have to be for every item, could leave 5 slots in list of "quick sell" items (alternate potential name) and can diamond purchase additional slots in the best sellers list.

3. What: New Helper - Machine Tender. Why: For long days where you cannot get to your game for a day or two, would be nice to buy a helper that will first ask what machine (2-3 would be best if using diamonds to purchase helper) you would like them to maintain. Once you select this machine(s), it will warn you that you cannot change the machine it is working on (whether your time period is 1 day or 1 week: cannot change). This nerfs the helpers ability. Once you pick a machine, then a similar screen appears with the items the machine produces and then you tell the helper how many of each item you want to be stocked in the barn during the time period.

4. What: Town Train - General Improvements. Why: I think the train needs to become much more simplified. I think the process of leaving your station, arriving at a neighbors station, not liking how many townies they have, returning to your station, leaving your station to a new neighbors station, not liking whats there, returning to your own station...you see where I'm going...gets old, repetitive, and doesn't seem logical. Does UPS or Fedex or, more importantly, AMTRAK, go back and forth in between new stops and back to the origin? I think if the Hay Day team is looking to make the train process as realistic as possible, you should leave your station and must go through a specific path each time you leave (perhaps lowest level/reputation player to highest) and you cannot return home until you get through all your neighbors stations. I.E., if you're 1 member in a 10 person NH, you have to go to each of the 9 stations before your next destination is home. And in the off chance that theres no one available to pick up, then I guess you have to wait for the train to fill up on fuel before you can take another trip. And yes, please please please let us pick up townies from multiple neighbor towns. I have a feeling if Hay Day doesn't like any of this idea, its the multiple pick ups. Please. Please. Please.

5. What: Town Businesses - Logical Item Requests. Why: I ask the simple question, when have you ever gone to the Cinemas and eaten seafood pizzas and fish burgers and other non-logical items at the Cinema? I am not sure what goes into deciding what townies as for at each business but I think there needs to be tweaks to, at a minimum, the Cinema. More often than not I have townies in the Cinema asking for seafood, sometimes more than they ask for seafood items at the Beach Cafe.

6. What: Machine Benefits; Reestablish the Truck. Why: I love how the town upgrades the businesses and would love to see an identical procedure removing the stars and placing the same system for the main Farm. I find myself not using the truck anymore just because I don't feel there is enough of a benefit to using it. Besides getting Vouchers from Jewelry orders, why give my items to the trucks when I can wait for a townie to ask for the item, give it to them, feel like I'm getting more coins and experience for those items, AND if the townie goes to all the places they wanted to go, give me an expansion item or tool. Ideally if I were to categorize the two areas, Id say I would love to use the truck and billboard to make coins and experience and no bonus items and use the town to get average coins and money but get expansion materials and tools.

What do you want to see added in Hay Day? Why do you want to see it added in Hay Day?

• I've been begging for a mushroom log since I joined the forums. I don't remember who made the original suggestion...MiniGardener, maybe? This would be a log that grows mushrooms. There are an endless number of cool looking mushrooms that could come from the log. I know you all would make it look super cool. Why do I want it? Because mushrooms!
• The other feature I've asked for repeatedly is a cranberry bog. This could be added to the river on the main farm and have a cute little guy to stir it around (think Ocean Spray cranberry cocktail commercials). There are a bazillion things that could be done with cranberries, just like mushrooms. The possibilities are endless. Why? Because it would add some color to the farm, give us another character to adore and make for some fun new items. Maybe this could be a level 100+ feature to give an incentive to those of us who have reached that level and may be getting a little bored...
• DECOS Doods. Srsly. Give us new/more decos. We will buy them. We will buy lots of them and you will make more money. I'm so tired of 90% of the decos that are available now. I'm praying there will be some fun things for Halloween, or I might seriously go back to Farmville. If it still exists. I know you have the creativity and the ability to bring us good stuff. Why do you keep putting out the same decos year after year? There are decos I've never bought, but I'm so tired of seeing them on other people's farms that I'll never buy them. Know what I mean? Why? This seems like a no-brainer to me- a very simple thing that would bring joy to many and money to you.

  Fishing Good god. I hate it. I dread the fishing events and I absolutely refuse to do fishing tasks in the derbies. This weekend was possibly the worst yet. I don't know if something was tweaked, but I couldn't catch anything other than a Copper Redhorse or Sockeye to save my life. I think I caught one Zander on my main farm, maybe two or three on my mini which has better luck because it's a lower level and hasn't completed as much of the fishing book. That said, I absolutely loathe the pop-up with the type of fish I've caught every time. It's clunky and it slows the game down so much. Trying to fish on my iPhone is almost impossible because the screen is so small. Almost every fish gets away from me. I don't even bother anymore. I've studied all of the charts and use the correct lures in the correct spots and I have yet to catch many of the fish. I have completely given up on completing my fishing book, but I'm OK with that, because there isn't really a big incentive to do it anyway. I think a giant trophy with a Red-Tail Catfish jumping out of a sea of fireworks is the only thing that could sway me at this point. And why not? Anyone who completes this arduous task should get a ginormous prize.

Town I love the town. It's my favorite part of the game. I love my little townies and give them just about anything they want. I love that they give me tools. I just want to squish their cute little faces off. However, I'm over the guitar playing cowboy and the curtseying actress. Ugh. Please shorten the animation. I would love to see a newshop and maybe a couple of new townies, as well. I started a thread ages ago asking for suggestions for new townies and there were some good one- a biker, a hipster, a mom with a baby. I can't remember them all, but I'm sure your creative minds could come up with some good ones. New shops could be a spice shop or maybe even a taco truck(another suggestion from long, long ago). Someone once suggested that the Mayor would come through the town on occasion and offer a special prize when you served him. I think that would be brilliant. I also agree with the suggestions to allow us to release our townies from the Town Hall. I sort of like the challenge of trying to release a mechanic from behind a strongman, but releasing a local from behind any other townie is just impossible.




Prizes I have to say that I think you all are really stingy when it comes to prizes. How about 15 diamonds for an event? Does that hurt your bottom line? I don't think so. How about a really cool deco? Something that people could buy later. Would that hurt your bottom line? I honestly do not care about 5 diamonds as a prize. The“personal event goal” prizes are meh. I don't care about getting 3 axes. I have 100 of them. It's great to get vouchers, though. I love that. How about the occasional super exciting surprise prize? A random tractor or 25 saws? I would be WAY more excited about playing for something like that. Would it hurt you to give us something like that? No, and I think it would encourage more people to participate and ultimately, buy more diamonds. Just saying.

Since Nick has posted in another thread that the team is working on an update, I think it's time for this really great thread to come back to page 1. :)

For me, I would prefer an update focused on player-requested tweaks, new decorations, a Derby Gift catalogue, Derby level fairness, and U/I improvements, rather than new stuff with a component that we have to wait forever for and cannot play our way into getting (permits and puzzle pieces, I am looking at YOU).

Yes! I love everything you suggested here. I would love to see two new horses- Clydesdales and Percherons (I know they are very similar breeds, but...)? Peafowl for feathers for hats would be amazing. Brilliant idea! I love the idea of gems from the mine, too. How fun to get the occasional ruby or sapphire? I'd agree with doubling the size of the fishing size, except that it takes so freaking long to make nets, traps, etc. It seems like they should tweak that anyway. And 45 diamonds to increase the net maker? Come on! That's highway robbery.

Ha! It's 415 for the 9th spot! (on both the lure maker and the net maker -- and yes, I have both machines maxed on production spots).

Town needs work as per 1st post in thread ...
Mainly to make it easier to release on satisfied player type. (This is a three hammer job)

Road side shop. Remember last price used to sell item, use that as default price for next sale of the item ... at least for same session filling the shop.
...so if I sell carrots at 65, the next box I sell I don't have to fiddle with the price. (This is a one hammer job)

Introduce levels in derby championship league, so those neighbourhoods that are really able to complete the derby in 24 hours can be raised to have a real competition with others of similar ability. 6 levels should be sufficient. (5 hammer job)

The top two levels have 2 * 60 hour (2.5 day) derbies - derby1 window Tues 8:00 - Thurs 20:00, derby2 window Friday 20:00 - Mon 8:00 (times are UTC) ... So derby1 start and derby 2 end sync to main derby schedule (5 hammer job)

Don't limit derby to 320 points, remove the limit but make it exponentially less likely to get a highest point tasks (which should be more difficult / time consuming) - introduce a chance of not being sure of a win with 10 max 320 tasks.

Love the 2-Derby idea but caution giving SC any more scope to build in even more delays/conditions/complications as God knows there are more than enough already.

I'd like to see some Derby leveling and I'd love to be able to set the default pricing in my roadside shop.



I think it would also be cool if I could feed other farmers pets, always seeing the poor kitties without any milk....

I asked for coloured gems from the mine YEARS ago (literally) so we could make pretty jewellery. Still waiting.

I like your idea. It was implemented in a recent update of Clash of Clans when the Master Builder was introduced. After spending elixer to repair the gem mine, the player get a green gem at the rate of one every 7 to 12 hours, depending on the level of your gem mine.

It may seem a negligible amount, but the gems accumulate over time as I collect several times a week from the mine.

Getting back to Glademaid's inspiring idea, I think the possibilities are endless for making different types of amHayzing jewelry if we may mine for colored gems.

Isn't "gem" the CoC currency equivalent of Hay Day's "diamonds"? We already get diamonds from the mine. What we've wanted for years, as Glade said, is some random gems that have no value in the game except as something to use in the jewelry maker. The same goes for suggestions of getting the occasional random pearl from the oysters/clams we would like to have in the fishing area. (I know, clams aren't known for pearls, but this is Hay Day! Realism seldom gets in the way.)

It makes no sense that's for sure, especially with just 12 fishing holes. Not only that, the crazy long times to create fishing nets; as well as the need for some fishing holes to be available for lure fishing.

perhaps lure and net maker has a higher price on diamonds because we dont need any extra material to made them but unlock all slots just wasting time and diamonds.

I only have 6 slot and sometime those net maker still busy in the morning lol

i think the diamond cost is a function of the time it takes to master the machine, which is also crazy long and does not make sense.

My ideas:
1. What : smelter booster (50% or 30%)
Why:
- metal bar need many hours production, farmers need bars to make jewelry & upgrade personal train

2. More booster slot (frequent requested)
Why: so many interesting booster we want to keep, we have to swap/trash: Tom/ Rose/ Ernest/ fill 2 box of boat order.

3. What: speed up lobster traping, lobster trap production time & lobster pool during Fishing Event
Why:
Making lobster trap need 5-6 hours to catch a lobster + 5-6 hours for the pool.
Player need 12 - 14 hours to harvest a lobster from the beginning.

4. What: Discount/speed up for the personal train maintenance & eggpress train coming to Town during the Town Event.
Why:
It would be great if Town event give effect to all process in Town area

5. What: reduce the Lumberjack price.
Why: too expensive, 50 diamonds for 40 bushes/ trees.

6. What: helper for lobster and ducks (copas someone's idea in forum)
Why: help player to maintain stock of lobster tail & duck feather, just like Rose & Ernest.

7. What:
Dogs & puppies following the postman when he arrived to bring us present/ thank you letter, following the farm visitor home untill the roadside shop.
Why: cute animation :)

So many good ideas already! I love the idea of a mushroom log.

Suggestion: More challenges for higher level players.
Why? Because once you have all the machines and achievements there is less to work for, and we're nutters who like to work at our games!
How? New Farmhouse achievements unlocking at say lvl 100 so there is eg Turbotrucker 4 or Patronage 4, new mastery levels for machines etc.

Suggestion: Allow trading of expansion materials through Neighbourhood trade, preferably unlimited!
Why? There's a plague of buyer bots at the moment.( I have the Boxlady on my farm taking all BEMS and SEMS the moment they hit the shop. Not a huge problem within our hood as we're all high level but it means the friends and followers aren't getting them any more. ) By allowing secure in hood trading the supply to the naughty ones dries up and huge frustration of players is lifted. The objection that this would reduce EMs in the dd doesn't hold up as these materials were never going to be posted there anyway
How: Just tweak the settings?

8. what: include upgrade tools in NH donation request.
Why:
- sometimes in game friend/ followers peeping out our shop & grab the tools that we put for our NH friend.
- we need to upgrade silo/ barn but bankrubt no coin after buying a machine :D
- sometime we got so many one item & lack of the other, so we can trade within NH safely

9. What:
More catalog option to exchange the Gift Card coupons, like: 1 saw = 1 coupon
1 pillow/ blanket/ beewax = 2 coupon
5 pickaxe = 6 coupon
5 diamonds = 10 coupon
1 day Tom/Rose/ Ernest = 25 coupon
etc
Why:
- the daily newspaper usually sell the same item all players, there is strawberry- corn - eggs flood time. It is very hard to search duck feathers, lobster tail, blanket in the newspaper.
- we need some items for Derby, & NH friend can't help, empty stock too. We don't have enough diamonds to hire Tom.

It would be great if we can trade our Gift Card with items we need.

**DERBY**
WHAT: Solo/small NH's being able to get ALL horseshoes. WHY: Because that's fair. As individuals they do as much work on their farm as farmers in bigger NH's and deserve the same rewards. I don't want to derail this thread. There are already other threads about this.

WHAT: New derby task like reg popcorn, bread, tacos, ect.. so many more options you guys could do. WHY: I know we got new task not that long ago but they get old quick

WHAT:When doing basket tasks instead of having the % of each task the amt needs to show like it does on reg tasks. WHY: b/c its a pain to have to go back in board to see how many more you have to do. Esp when you have prepped more then you need for that task and want to save those for another task.

WHAT: Better derby prizes, ESP for 1-3rd place. I don't even care if we get in the top 3 any more. WHY: I know our hood will never make the top NH teams so getting planks, screws and boards for 1st place is pointless for me. I want something more to look forward to. I'd love to see new decor prizes for derby as well as the current ones have run their course. Maybe putting in some of those gifts you were special diamond pks. Like the pink fence with flowers on it and the balloons, the golden chicken (which I LOVE and totally regret not getting) ect.. I realize these were a "special" but feel like after so long you can make them available in some way, maybe this would be it! I do feel for the most part the horse shoe prized are good, esp b/c you do have the option to reshuffle if you want but you can't reshuffle your 1-3 prizes!

I also thing a general improvement of pt tasks can be improved as well.. we still get A LARGE amt of lower pt task even though our hood always does 320's and even higher of course on the themed derby..

Themed derby is good / fun but again could use some improvements...Like switching up the tasks for these.. Make new basket tasks for themed derbys that you can't do in reg derbys.

**CHAT**
WHAT: A way for leaders to post durable messages to the entire NH, and to private message individual players.

WHY: It's impossible to coordinate Derby tasks via the chat, especially when one's neighbors are spread all over the world. We shouldn't have to use an outside system for in-game communications. Even using this forum doesn't work. Turns out private groups aren't accessible from the mobile version of this site (which is odd because the game can't be played on a computer). YES YES YES!! This is something I have wanted for A LONG TIME! WE NEED A BULLETIN BOARD!


**TOWN**
WHAT: Overhaul of town: Letting visitors go via town hall or have those that still need to be served in other shops put in front and not behind those who have been fully served. WHY: b/c it's frustrating to let go those who have been fully served when prepping for derby.

WHAT: Town needs new shops maybe a couple new visitors WHY:b/c it's been WAY TO LONG since we have gotten anything new in town!

WHAT: Sanctuary is POINTLESS! What is the point of these animals? I could care less if and when I get enough puzzle pieces to get them all. WHY: You only get 25 ep pts for them every what 12 hrs? You get more for the donkeys every 30 or 45 min I think.. and the "gifts" the townies give you for them are nothing special..

WHAT: Townies that are released that go to sanctuary should not count as "active" townies. WHY: b/c when you are doing train task and you need more visitors to come into town you can't get new ones if these townies still need to galk at these animals, which they take FOREVER to do!

**FISHING**
WHAT: I still have not been able to get all of the fish and have given up trying for the most part. I have tied all the tip and tricks I have read since we got the fishing and well frankly, have just given up.. If I get them, great if not at this point OH WELL!! Not sure how you can improve this or what can be done differently but fishing has gotten boring and I only fish b/c I have to!

**OVER ALL IMPROVEMENTS FOR GENERAL GAME PLAY**
WHAT: New event's and better prizes WHY: b/c I'm tired of doing 300+ truck tasks for 5 diamonds! It's just not worth it to me. I'd love to see a couple new events, like the hug tree one was THE BEST!! I loved everything about it! And the 24 hr puzzle boat event was another great one too.. we just need some new events and putting a few more decors as gift instead of only 5 diamonds would't hurt either. Don't get me wrong, who doesn't like to get diamonds but make it more balanced. Increase the truck orders one to 10 or 15 diamonds (which is prob a stretch) but you get the idea!

WHAT: Friends bar / Followers.... I want to be able to see when my followers need help. WHY: Why not?? We are all here to help each other out friends / followers and all alike.. I don't care if they are a follower or friend I just want to be able to see them pop up in the followers bar when they need help just like my reg friends do!

WHAT: There needs to be a $1 option in RSS.. WHY: b/c its TIME! When I trade I like to do it for $1 but it takes FOREVER to get down there for whatever reason.. having a $1 option would just make sense!

A couple random things I'd like to see added / changed:

**New mail ticket gifts..enough with the instruments....new gifts please!!

**I really like those square paths that can change shape. Would love to see more of those or more chances of getting these via wheel, mail tickets. derby prizes, ect. I also really like the stone path that is right in front of sanctuary which is currently not available at all.

***Would love to see new fall / halloween decor and just new decor in general. I understand everything in moderation and not to have a million options but some more fencing and holiday decor would be GREAT! Or making some of the special diamond purchase gifts available (which I sort of already mentioned) I do REALLY enjoy a lot of the items that came with the locked land and wouldn't be opposed to something like this again.. maybe not land persay, but having a locked area of gifts and needing permits to unlock. I honestly CAN'T believe I'm saying this but when I was needing permits I cursed a lot, ha ha but now that I don't need them.. I kinda miss the hunt for them! It was something to look forward to, a goal! Same with the Achievements. I def would not be opposed to more achievements!

***Boat / Truck orders: Why is animal feed not on either boat or truck orders? I say lets add them on!

I'm sure A LOT of these have already been mentioned and I do want to add that overall this is a GREAT game and I still enjoying playing for the most part (lvl 178). I appreciate Supercell posting this and wanting our input and hearing us wine and complain, ha ha! You do a good job overall of always trying to switch things up.. Keeping people interested long term is not easy esp when everyone has their own idea of how things should be.. it's the over all picture that's important!

One more thing I’d like to see added is for leaders to see how many tasks have been completed when they have opted out. WHY: b/c even though I (the leader ) have opted out this week it would be nice to see how many tasks each player has completed so far to be able to communicate better with them. Instead of asking how many tasks and how many pts each player has completed

I'd be happy if something could be arranged with coins, I'm sitting on millions that are worthless... The sanctuary is kind of a waste, takes way too many puzzle pieces to get another, and agree, kind of wasted space.

Expand fishing area or give more options, same with town. But this time let people use "Coins" that we've earned rather than diamonds that are valuable.

Hire tom to get axes & saws (I believe he'll fetch those) 15 diamonds gives 11 trips of 9 ... more if you have a less sleep time booster.

Diagonal fences, hedges and stone walls ... to place against diagonal walkways.

I take (9x locals townies) train task yesterday, & I finished it with total sending home 20 townies, huhuhu :(
I can't pick the correct character without touching other characters & sending (dancers, teacher, salesmans, grandpas) home & I lost 11 of them.

If I can save 11 Townies, I'm ready to wait the 21 Townies task. :( :( :(

10. What:
a). Maybe the Full served Townies queing infront of the Town Hall/ new building only for full served.
b). They can line by each character group
c). More complex program: in town hall we can see how many full served (teacher/ elderly/ athlete/local, etc) & how many we want to release (like how we're going to sell things in newspaper).
For example:
Our town hall= 24 visitor
Ready teacher = 18
Ready Dancer = 3
Ready Mechanic= 3
We take a Derby task of 13 teachers, so we choose the teacher & use "( - ) (+)" button to release 13 teacher, 5 left in town.

Instead of releasing 13 task requested & lost 11 townies like I did.

Late to the thread I know, but I too would like to add my vote for SC focussing on making some amends that have been long standing requests which would make the game much easier / more enjoyable.

I will also say that I still love Hay Day as a game, and am pleased that new features are being introduced to make things more interesting. However, some would really benefit from some further thought and tweaking to improve the user experience.

Most have been mentioned by others already - some great ideas, but these are my picks:

What: Enable us to release specific townies from the town hall
Why: Since the introduction of the single townie tasks, this is really necessary to avoid sacrificing lots of others to get to the final one you need at the back of the queue

What: Special derby - please just make them work. It's a great idea to mix things up, and the ones that have worked well have been fun. But when you say something is going to happen, test it thoroughly and make it do what you said it would.
Why: because it's beyond infuriating when hoods plan for a special derby and it all goes belly up due to glitches that either don't get fixed, or take 2 days to get a response.

What: All hoods should be able to get all horseshoes.
Why: Fairness - I am in a larger hood, but I do not see why small hoods should be penalised. They have different challenges to larger hoods, but should get the same rewards.

What: Sanctuary - it could do with a purpose.
Why: because at the moment the animals are just eye candy in an extra plot of land. And please make the giraffe not look so sad.

What: Make the rewards for a special derby special. Or at least make the rewards for getting in the derby top 3 worth the effort! Make the rewards for getting through event stages interesting (like the Halloween event where you actually gain interesting deco).
Why: Because there doesnt feel like much incentive at the moment

What: Boosters - I love these, they really make the game interesting again. Lets have more variety please. Also mix them into the rewards so that those that don't want them don't have to have them.
Why: Because it takes away the choice of whether to have them or not.

What: Option to activate a booster upon receipt - allow us to activate one if we have three stored already and receive another.
Why: Because it's just sensible.

What: Show how many items you have of an item when you click the machine. Make it the same as showing you the crop numbers when you click an empty crop square.
Why: Because at the moment you have to click and hold each item individually to see quantities and decide which to plant. It's incredibly time consuming and frustrating and would seem to be a simple change that would make a big difference. It also leads to inadvertent cuing of products which is very annoying.

what: It used to be that when you were scrolling through your friends friends roadside shops you could see the flashing '!' icon in the background if there were things for sale. Now the background jumps around all over the place as you scroll through shops. Please put it back as it was.
Why: Because now you have to scroll all the way to the other end of their crates to find out if there is anything there.

what: minimum and maximum price options for selling items in the rss
why: because scrolling (down to 1 coin particularly) takes a very long time with high price goods.

what: perhaps most important after the camping derby - better communication
why: because if you monitored the forums, told us when there were problems, and whether they were going to be fixed or not, we would at least know and be able to adjust and maybe enjoy the derby. And you would get a lot less complaints.

On the other end of the spectrum, a list of small daily chores that changes every day and comes with a small daily reward. When you finish a weeks worth of them you can choose a larger prize. Why?
It could encourage daily play for those who don't already and it could also encourage more balanced play. If the list was 4 tasks they could be make a bracelet, catch fillets, collect wool, and completely fill a boat alone, these are things I don't normally do.

I've been playing this game off and on for several years and, throughout that time, there has been an imbalance of planks vs other BEMs amongst traders. I'd love to see that resolved, for obvious reasons.

I'd really like to see a new help task in the Derby, just for filling other people's boats. Most people who do helps complete them mostly by watering trees and the numbers required reflect the abundance of requests and the ease of generating them within a NH. A boat help task would be much more interesting and encourage more meaningful helpful behaviour

A max and min button for the RSS has been requested relentlessly. Come on SC! Make it happen!

The following idea is inspired by the "Touchdown" update released today by the developers of Clash Royale, a Supercell game. If you think the idea is good, all credit should go to Team Clash Royale. If you think the idea is bad, then I'll take the hit and blame should go to me. :)

What: Quests for daily and casual farmers. By completing a quest, farmers earned Quest Points to open a golden chest which may contain rare items such as BEMs, LEMs, Puzzle Pieces, Expansion Permits, and Derby decorations. There are 2 types of quests: one which is timed and will end in about 7 days and the other has no deadline. In the beginning, there are 4 quests but we may only trash one per day. Examples of quests include doing tasks which we may finish in a reasonable amount of time and tasks we would've completed anyway in the course of farming such as harvesting x number of y crops.

Here are examples of some quests. Please feel free to add to the list.
1. Put 20 jams in boats, no expiration date
2. Pick up 100 town visitors, no expiration date
3. Sell 300 tomatoes in shop, will expire in 7 days

Why: Motivate all farmers to play more often.

I do like the idea! I don't really like the put 20 jams in boats, as that could take forever, as that requires luck to wait for the jams to appear (and patience!) . Tomato and town visitors aren't luck based...

Maybe put that into a thread in aides and Feature Request.


and also, I've thought about something like a derby for Clash royale!!

What: In the rss,when people are selling certain products would it be possible to put how many of the products you have/own in one of the bottom corners of the product being sold?
Why: when I'm searching through people's shops I see a product and can't remember how many I've actually got. I'm forever buying stuff thinking I've got none when I've actually got some but also it's difficult to remember how many of each item you actually have in your barn and silo when your browsing/shopping for stuff.
Just a little piece of one of the corners could be spared for this big piece of vital info,it would go along way to solve a reoccurring headache.

Apologies if it's already been suggested,I have looked through suggestions and couldn't see anything. It's been a thorn in my side for a while now.

What: A neighbourhood supermarket/shop (a new look shop system). Instead of a individuals shop board how about a collective/neighbourhood shop.
Any items we don't want or want to sell we post them in the neighbourhood shop.
Why: at the minute only other players can see our items that's for sale. If you want to sell to team members or team members require something you have tell them go to your shop,tell me when your there etc etc
If we had a neighbourhood shop,we would have somewhere we could go straight to and check if there's anything for sale or somewhere we could put stuff up for sale.
Then when people are searching for stuff they can search through neighbourhood shops with more items than individual shops with different amounts of slots and sometimes full of one type of product. (Wheat mainly Gggrrr) might need a bit of tinkering but there's definitely something to this.
