Great idea. I used to wish this on a regular basis, but just got used to having no time. Its needed so that we can control who we are releasing. Goes along with being able to control things from the Town Hall. In fact, I would like to see us be able to "call" the train when its time to arrive, rather than having it come automatically. If we're going to ask to control the townies' release, etc., then having the train barge in doesn't really work.Quote:

This is a great thread to get everyone's hopes up! Same things that have been requested for years. I'll hold out hope that they add a feature that alerts you your trashing your active task (in a different form than trashing a board task).

Why? Relying on messenger (in my NB) is not practical as not all my hoodies want to join!
Smaller Footprints For Decos
Why? Cuz it would neaten up all of our hard work we did to decorate.
Revamp Prizes For Top 3 Derby, WOF, Gift Catalogues
Why? The prizes for top 3 aren't worth the weeks worth of work and products. Please give things like...boosters...diamonds...topiary...water troughs...saddles...rocking horses...
A Bed For Tom!!!
Why?? My preference would be a hammock but maybe someone else has a better idea but come on...I have Tom all the time and I'm tired of him having to sleep on the grass 365 days a year. Have a heart Frisco!
Easier Pick Up For Town Train
Why? So irritating to have to go home every time. Even if there was a "next" button to go to next town would be ok.
New Machine
Why? I have all the machines and I'm ok with that but if you are looking for new machine ideas I'd like to see a machine that cans all these crops I have!
New Crops
Why? To use in our new canning machine!
I'd like to see green beans, peas and cucumbers.
Also maybe some spices like garlic, basil and parsley.
But please consider giving us some extra plots at the same time as release of new crops or spices. (Automatically and not earned please). 3-5 plots per new item.
Farm Related Decos
Why? Cuz we hardly have any and it's a farm!
Suggestions:
Milk jugs
Garden hose and hose hook up
Wagons
Old plow
Water pump
Baskets of veggies
Crates of fruit
Feed bags
Daily, Weekly, Monthly Goals
Why? To breathe some life into the game cuz it's getting a bit stale. (I'm level 106)
Something like this: (examples only)
Daily Goal:
Give 1000 (200,400,600) wheat. (corn, carrots, sugarcane)
Prize...1 diamond or 1 bolt or 1 marker or 1 screw (or plank, deed, panel)
Weekly Goal:
Give 1000 wheat
Give 400 bread
Give 200 popcorn
Prize...3 diamonds or 3 bolts or 3 markers or 3 screws
Monthly Goal:
Give 2500 carrot pies
Prize: 10 diamonds
Please note that amount of items and amount of prizes is just an example.
Also note that it would have to be set up to be able to load items whenever we could and not when we have it all!
And that we give those items to receive the prizes cuz we don't want DD overload!
I think something along those lines would make players log in more often and keep them interacting with game more.

I am not going to hold my breath that many or even any of the suggestions already mentioned in this thread will be implemented, I have been playing the game and reading the forums/Reddit for too long to know lip service when I see it, so I will believe some of these implementations when I see them.
In saying that I do have my own wish list, some have already been said but it does no harm to mention them again.
WHAT
A new town building. Ideally I would like to see a green grocers/market stall where they only ask for crops.
WHY
Town hasn't had a new building added in a long time and is in need of some more variety for guests to visit.
WHAT
Tom and Greg don't buy goods from your shop after they have been up for sale for a certain period of time.
WHY
Too often I have put goods up for my hood mates to grab at their leisure and Tom or Greg will buy them before my hood mates can. Also people are putting items that rarely sell (cloche hats, tofu dogs, smoothies, bacon and eggs) knowing that they will sell eventually when Tom or Greg will buy them so this facilitates the cycle of bad items constantly being in the paper.
WHAT
When you cut down trees (not bushes) the wood/lumber from this can be used to make furniture/paper mulch which can then be turned into newspapers/magazines.
WHY
It's a shame to see the wood going to waste and the colouring for the paper products could be made from some under utilised crops (indigo, strawberries etc).
WHAT
More uses for some of the aforementioned under utilised products (goat milk, indigo, rice noodles, wool).
WHY
These products are a whole lot of nothing at the minute and it would give them more of a purpose.
WHAT
Have the town mayor come to visit your town once in a blue moon (every 25 town train visits). He wants to visit every single building and get served in a timely manner (less than 24 hours from arrival). After this he will give you a big reward (10 diamonds, or your choice of expansion tools)
WHY
Will give people more of an incentive to work their towns harder.
WHAT
More of the drag and drop events.
WHY
They fostered good relationships in the game and they were some of the most fun events that we had (if the goals are realistic)
WHAT
When you are fishing, instead of getting 1 fillet per fish you should get 1 fillet per lb of fish caught.
WHY
The fishing area is under a lot of strain and this would help us manage it better.
I probably fall in repeats :D but i do it anyway....
DECORATIONS
What:
You got a very good development team with nice ideas. So why do the chicken still wear the scuba dive gear? Why do the cows still have sunglasses? Why haven't the clothes changed in the 4 years i play the game?
Why don't the farm animals have Christmas or Easter clothing? Why DO they have Halloween clothes but... are they the same every year?
Why not make a very nice (Look at my Halloween request i placed in ideas 2 weeks ago) Halloween theme where we can choose for creepy buildings, flying witches, cooking witches etc. Come on, you're very creative you can do this.
Why: Renew the looks of the game :D
Renew the game for experienced players.
What:
New players will only notice this after one year. I personally don't mind if themes and clothes return every now and then. Fantasy only lasts for a while :D But i'm sure you can think of more than antlers for sheep (really?), scuba dive gear for chicken or sunglasses for cows.
Why:
Do something for players that are at the end of the game. Like introducing wear of machines (fi) so you have to fix your machines or have less production. If you care good for machines it will be rewarded by a 4th star? :D But you're creative enough to think of something.
Events need redoing
What:
As often mentioned: everytime the same events is boooooooring. Re-introduce the events where you can produce like .... and then can contribute to a goal. These events were moved aside by sc 3 years ago when the Christmas and new years event both busted on a too high unreachable goal.
Like truck events and boat events and visitor events these events can be reintroduced very easy. Just have personal goals put and if there's a special reward, you could get it just by personally completing the goals. Make these goals reachable. So don't have something you can only reach by not sleeping for 10 days and use lots of diamonds.
Other new events... YES!! I liked the tree event with birthday. Helping event was fun.

What:
Add new features. Would be nice if we could paint the farm and houses, would be nice if we could change the looks of the pens. Would be nice to create a lake without piles of land in it. Just water.

Barbie coloured machines
What:
Give us a choice to get a normal old school design. (Still very happy the farm hasn't been recoloured Barbie)

Many people don't like Barbie colours
TOWN
What:
Well.... as i mentioned earlier: SC had Amoozing plans for the sea..... In the meantime we got the one animal zoo, but no fishing, no salt extracting machine, no ships etc. etc. Just wondering what the Amooooozing ideas were and why they weren't completed
Edit: Just remembered when i was at the next point, that is should be handy if you could visit all friends in friendsbook, not only neigbourhood. :D

Derby
What:
As mentioned by others: I'm now neighbourhoodless, so can't play derby now. If i would start a single player neighbourhood (which i won't do) there are a series of things not possible.
1. you can't reach the gift achievement for the neighbourhood home because you can't trade
2. you can't achieve the 9th horseshoe.
As i played in a four player nh i noticed that Town tasks are much more difficult because you just have 3 people who could have townees on their station. See the edit i made earlier :D
Why:
Make Derby playable for everyone.
Edit mode 2
What: make it possible to buy decoration in edit mode as you're decorating
Why: it's a hell of a job to buy new stuff you like to add in your game play. If you need 3 extra trees, you first have to put all your trees on your deco to be able to buy the extra trees.

I could go on and on. I have no idea what language the censor algorithm is based on, but there are no bad words in English that follow or even come close to these patterns.

communicating is hard enough without having to re-word simple messages.
