The order is still around but not as high ranking as it used to be.
I was part of the original order when it first started, i started during Canadian beta on June 3rd 2012. Still loving the game just not playing as much anymore. I think when I joined the order i was about the 20th person in that clan, a bunch of us still play together just in a new clan now.
