Best trophy range to be at when upgrade to TH8 completes?

1200-1400 is a charm

yeah i also just got my TH8 last week and my trophie is about 1500 and i find 100,000 loot every 2 to 3 minutes searching.

(if everyone is saying to be in between 1400-1800 wont that mean that we will all be in someway attacking each other lol, for all i know i prolly just attacked you, :-P)

I'm just putting this out there but I know it's very low but if you search enough it's great I got my first 1mil raid there so it works and there are over easy bases

BAM at 1600. There may be more at 1200, but I prefer 1600 because it is flexible and I can swap to Dark Farming at any time :)

Just use BAM in gold league and you'll be fine. TH8 is where you can actually take advantage of BAM. With the DE drill, you will always have a fresh supply of DE for the minions. You also have 2 dark barracks, so instead of just 5 barracks working, you have 6 barracks working,which is a big difference.
Maybe you can try sub 200, get those farming troops upgraded and all new defenses up and running then moving up to gold league. I say this because starting out TH8 is kinda difficult without the level 5 troops. So I suggest staying in Sub for 2 weeks or so (barb and archer upgrade takes 5 days each, and lab upgrade takes 4 days? Dont quote me on lab upgrade time ;)) to get the troops started, the second dark barrack started and all of your new walls and defenses. Good luck.

I'm doing great at 1100-1200 range for a th8 just using BAG + wall breakers as the dark elixer is not that great. Bust the core open and rage those gobs I'm making more than enough to keep the builders busy.
Currently sitting on 3.5 mil of each and waiting for an available builder.

silver II worked for me when i was beginning th8

I dropped down from over 1600, to below 1400, when I first hit TH8. I never found better loot, and got way bored really quick, so after a couple of week I could't get back up fast enough. There are collector raids pretty much everywhere, if you look around enough (although I have to say, I struggled to find good ones around 1800 recently - I prefered it over 2100, although you do get attacked lots there).

I'd say it depends on what's more important to you - max easy loot, least chance of getting raided, challenge to your own raids, etc. Personally, I'd say stay where you are now, maybe up your trophies 100 or so, and see how it goes.
