I hear it's rough to hit TH8 both on offense and defense because of the loot bonus/penalty. I am maxed TH7 (except for DE troop research) and start my 8-day TH upgrade tomorrow. My question is what is the best trophy count to be at when it completes so that I can start farming to upgrade on offense but not get pummeled by maxed TH8s on defense? Thanks
That is what i am wondering aswell.
As a 2 week old th8, im around the 1300-1400 mark, i find pretty good raids there, but it takes me around a minute or two to find a base that I am looking for.
My main priority bases would be full collectors and mines, i dont seem to find much of them.
I'm finding 16-1700 trophies to be pretty great for me this past week. Been using BAM mainly, occasionally barbs/archers.
I'm averaging 150k to 300k per raid without having to search for ages either.
I'm also TH8.
Any detriment to being under 1200 for the first week?
Not sure why... why right now below 1400 is HORRIBLE. I recommend 1500-1700 for now until the inactives are back.

quite a few full collector bases at 2200-2400
Personally i farm at 1200-1400 and i get 200k each collector raids each time
BAM at 1200-1400 is great. Collector raids are plentiful.
