Got Question, I'd say no limit to how many jewels you can hold as people would want to spend them as soon as they get them, and there should be a time limit on how often the wheel can be spun, ESPECIALLY if SC made Quest Jewels able to be purchased. If non-purchasable, I say 1-2 weeks on time limit... if purchasable, I say 2-4 weeks.

I really like the troop quests, SC could use those to push underused units and get players to "expand their vocabulary" regarding offensive strategy. Would make defense more interesting as well, I get attacked by the same combo almost every time...

TehMikester, glad you like this part as it's one of my favorites too :) The way you stated it "expanding your vocabulary" is exactly right! At 2200 trophies, I currently see the exact same attack of 30 Hogs every single time. The few times I don't, they are very similar. I want to see someone attack me with a few Valks mixed in, or some off the Wall combination to test their skill instead of using whatever is the FOTM.
Similarly, my other favorite Quests would be the defense Quests of trying to protect something not normally inside walls (campfires, mines, etc.) It would mix things up and change the monotony a little, which would all greatly add to the fun in my opinion.

In Clash, there's basically only two objectives, earn resources to level up buildings and such and trophy pushing. These never get tiring, there is some addicting feel to it. However once in awhile we get bored, for example like all our builders are working, resources are full, nothing to do or just waiting for troops to train in general. With this added in the mix we can have more fun and be more active than just simply, train troops, go offline, come back attack, train troops and repeat.
I think we need features like these including clan wars that would and will revolutionize the game.

I totally agree with your paragraph and the points you made. It's already a great game but needs another dimension to keep it fresh, and this idea is A LOT safer to add than Clan Wars. Clan Wars will be polarizing, a lot of people will love it but others will not like the way it will be implemented, since there are so many ways to go about it. This idea has been universally liked by every poster so far. While not as game-changing as Clan Wars, it will change th game for the better.
Mastermind, on the wheel thingy you should make it so that if the person's storages are too full you can't win loot prizes.
Mastermind is there a limit as to how many spins you can redeem on the wheel?

Hey I love this idea as much as i loved editor mode and as always i think I have at least one idea to help you out with the almost 90% covered idea of yours, VERY GOOD JOB you truly are the mastermind in this forum.
But anyway my small addition is about how supercell could add a profit on this idea without making any overly OP pay for options. Lets say I gain 50quest gems and we cant buy them just as you said. Now it's time to spin the wheel. If I get something unneccessary for me then let me have the option to spin again which includes that the last spin reward gets removed because each time you spend 50questgems for springning the wheel should only give you one price.
The price for the first spin is 50quest gems so lets say if you want to respin for another price then you pay a certain amount of gems maybe 100normal gems for first respin and then double the price for each respin until you get what you want. That way you cant pay for the wheel but you can pay for getting there price you want, which would make it a win/win situation for supercell and for everyone who play this game which also is kind of balanced in my opinion.

Really like your idea, as it's not something people HAVE to spend Gems on, but if they save up extra or buy extra (SC likes) then they can spin again, right after they spun to try and get another prize. I think the more spins you do in a row, the higher the Gem cost should be though, maybe even doubling in price.

This idea is amazing (as are all your other ideas)! I especially agree with your point that it will make the game less repetitive. Keep it up! I imagine it will take SC a while to implement but it will be worth it.
For the permanent collectors and mines I disagree. If a user would repeatedly get those rewards, then their base might be "filled" since the base only has a limited amount of space. I agree with the boosts though. Maybe there should be something like a "Ghost" mine/collector that will only be temporary. It is can be placed in the world and is semi-invisible. It does not affect the base with the protection around it and when the base is raided it does not contribute to the percentage and is not seen. Or there is a totally different interface to collect these resources. Since you said a free collector/mine you will get resources over time and not instantly, so there's this button like one for the Quests or the Achievements and when you click it, it goes to an interface of the mine/collector and you will collect the resources there and it generates resources over time like a normal collector/mine.
Im sorry but I really think you missunderstood this part.
1. He said all his ideas is just examples (even though I think that his ideas is perfect and should be the prices if this is implemented)
2. He said that when you get the price which you are talking about the first time then you will get a collector/mine but everytime after that you wont get anymore collectors/mines but instead you get a boost on all your collectors/mines for a certain amount of time.
Hope that cleared things up for you otherwise you can just read the part about this price again and maybe find out what I tried to explain:)

Thanks for all the nice words guys! (on page 55) :) Really appreciate it and glad you like it. I agree with you in that an idea like this will eradicate the problem of monotony and repetitiveness that is currently in the game, and add a new dynamic to assist with this issue.
And it definitely won't be in by Christmas, but hypothetically if it was, my idea of ornaments and baubles as balloons would be neat to see :)

I too would love to see Holiday Quests as it would add an entirely new and fun dimension to the big Holiday updates, as well as other holidays (like Valentine's day, Easter, etc.) that aren't currently celebrated. SC could add something for those Holidays without making a huge update centered around that Holiday.

This idea reminds me of the days I use to play wow! I think a cool general quest would be to kill a certain amount of troops with the traps that u have placed. Or constantly have all ur builders building for a certain amount of time.

As I think we all agree, adding new levels to exsisting buildings is fine but a new defense level doesn't keep you happy forever.

A player could do that if they wanted to, however the loot/rewards would not be as good if they did that. Remember, rewards would tie in directly with trophies to help inspire trophy pushing (as not much in the game does, besides small league bonuses). One of the main ideas of this thread, besides new fun gameplay, is to help everyone, but especially trophy pushers to gain more loot.
Thanks gregory, and I think we all seem to agree with that point. We love the free updates SC gives, but instead of defensive upgrades, the majority of the playerbase is looking for something fun, fresh, and exciting to continue their interest.

The idea of injecting more loot and rewards based on League is a smart move, since a large part of problems related to loot or the feeling of lack of progression lies among TH 10s and some 9s (the main residents in higher leagues). This would in that sense be a move in the right direction, and let's face it - who doesn'tlike new content? Really interesting idea, I would be excited if something like this was implemented. +1!
Thanks Rastis, very kind of you! Yeah rewards would be tied into difficulty of quest (as far as % chance of a better reward), trophies, TH level, and level. Whatever the formula for that was, it would need to be carefully perfected to prevent exploiting and keep things fair. High levels, high TH, and high trophies should be getting the most rewards as they currently have the toughest time getting loot, are the ones getting frustrated, and leaving BECAUSE of that very reason.

As for the Holiday Quest with witches, those are just examples of what they could do, but for someone TH8 and below, that Quest would be different. It could possibly require the user to receive Witches as donations, kill witches in CC's, or something entirely different! The options are limitless (well, sort of hehe).

These ideas sound awesome, you've probably put a lot of time into this so good job, i think this would make a very nice addition to the game.
Perfect player:
1 gem for each daily quest X 5 daily quests X 30 days in a month = 150 gems a month
3 gems for each weekly quest X 5 weekly quests per week X 4 weeks per month = 60 gems a month
5 gems for each monthly quest X 4 monthly quests = 20 gems a month
Possibility of 230 gems per month. So about 3-4 spins/month for an active player, and around 2 for a casual player? Seems unbalanced towards doing daily quests a little too.
How about
1 for a daily quest - 150 gems a month from daily
5 for a weekly quest - 100 gems a month from weekly
20 for a monthly quest - 80 gems a month from monthly
That gives a possibility of 330 gems a month
And then increase the spin to 100 - 150 gems (would need to be tested to see where it should fall). This would give about 2 spins per month to an active player, and at least 1 spin per month on a casual player.
This is just a small tweak to a great and well thought out idea!!

I like your ideas though and Monthly Quests should be more rewarding than how I currently have it, as well as Weekly Quests. Because of the potential increase in Quest Jewels, I still think there should be a cap on the number of times the Wheel can be spun to prevent an over-abundance of rewards. I suggest once every 3 weeks, possibly even 4. Or remove the cap and increase the number of Jewels to spin the wheel like you suggested, to around 75-100 or so (with a smaller cap of say 1-2 weeks).

I like the concept and I'm sure its been said before but I'm not going to scroll through all the messages to find out so... It may have been better if you added some ways to spend gems whilst doing the quests ie a "skip this quest for X gems" option "increase rewards by X% for X gems" a "extend quest length by X hours for X gems" maybe even some way to be able to get more daily quests via the use of gems. There's a few similar ideas for the wheel itself such as several different options "increase chance to land on resource producers" "increase chance to land on battle boosts" "increase resources gained" "increase length of time buffs last for" etc. etc. etc. possibly an option to increase the odds of landing on an exact outcome (would need to cost a whole load more gems to select that one, obviously) and (just to clear things up for readers) I am not saying all of these things need to get added nor am I saying they need to have a drastic effect on anything (lets face it if you could get the wheel to land on what you wanted 99% of the time it'd just be ludicrous) these are simply aimed as a rather obvious way to increase revenue that is made which is what all ideas need to have to actually get added into game/s.
