On the wheel rewards, there are a couple problems. You need to specify that the battle rewards are only for multiplayer battles now that there is clan wars (having boosts like these would be unfair in clan wars). Also, there was a little grammar issue in the battle related ideas aswell. :p

Supercell you need to add this in the christmas update!!!!!!!!!!!!

If a thread can get over 2,000 replies to it, I think Supercell will be looking at this thread! This is, by far, the most detailed post I have ever seen. It took Mastermind 3 posts to complete his idea. Truly, he is a Mastermind:D Supercell, please add this.

Yes, that would definitely be one way to go about it. Honestly to me, the way Quests are presented isn't that important, and more of an "icing on the cake" type of deal. Although I do think presenting it in Balloon form, or a building like a hut would be great visually instead of them simply appearing as a notification. As far as the interface being no longer applicable, that is true, I made this idea before they switched around the buttons for Clan Wars I like your ideas though! Keep them coming! ;)

I agree, as this idea was made before Clan Wars came out hehe. I do not think Battle Boosts should be allowed for clan Wars. Mind telling me the grammar issue?

I don't think trying to please everyone is a good idea. Players already bored of the monotony will be angry that a quest wants them to donate X troops or raid X times, and I don't want to spend gems to get rid of it - this will just cause hate. Still 100% against the permanent statue idea. I believe this is because of the hours and hours grinding I have done in other games to get a reward, only to find it as hollow and unsatisfying as the grinding itself. This post may have seemed very negative, but I am still for the quests idea ;), but against the seasonal reward.

Even though this was not part of your suggestion, and SC can choose to implement it differently, this concerns me. I don't want a quest system that spams "spend gems" at every opportunity, or one that has 5 buttons to spend gems on different things on each screen - I don't think other players want this either. The opportunities to spend gems should be fair in consideration to what you get, and you shouldn't be able to buy everything with gems. You cannot directly buy trophies; you cannot directly buy GG. I believe that the quest jewels should be treated like Power Stones in Boom Beach - they are impossible to buy directly and are therefore the most prized items in the game for high level players (I think sometimes more than diamonds, but I'm not "high level" so I wouldn't know).

The reason I said agree to disagree is because you think people won't want to do the Quests and I do, and it seems we won't change our opinions lol. I brought up the fact that everyone seemed to want them because so far in this thread that has been the truth. The gem spending part is 100% completely optional.

As far as the permanent statue, I understand you are ;) I feel a very small minority would be against it though for the sole reason of being a perfectionist. Although you are that way, most won't be. The Quests could also be pretty easy to do too, I just put random figures in there for the purpose of the Quests too.

The Quests are meant to be fun and add a little variety! The Quest possibilities are endless really!

I've always been against Jewels being able to be bought from the start but understand why SC would do it (if they did there would need to be a 2-3 week cap on number of times wheel could be spun). I don't think they should but could totally see them doing it. You wouldn't be spammed with spend gems, it would be pretty similar to how it is in game now (which is essentially their version of ads). If you wanted to spend, you could.

mastermind I have a question for you.

have you read all the comments posted on your forum because it seems like you do give you props thats apt of time and I've seen this post on here for solo long i remember when you posted this i thought it was official and it was a sneak peak but i hope supercell contacts you if they go through with making this and they should definitely put your name in the game for all the hard work you have put into this awesome feature of clash , if this update came out i would have to throw away my xbox and just get a another device to clash. XD :cool:

This may not be (and hopefully wont be) true. Something like this would take a lot of time to develop. Tracking all the detailed info for the rewards, the quests in general. It would all take a while to implement. Although your statement may be true, I do still believe that this thread will eventually make its way into a future update. High hopes from me that it will be in this one :)

just joined up here and found this... you did an awesome job thinking this out and creating the post and all images, kudos!!!

In general I think it is a terrific idea, it is part of why Hay Day is succesful: sidequests. And mind you: Disney is no dummy, they are putting quests in their Star Wars rip-off of CoC for a good reason; it appeals to many players, making it less repetitive!

The extend to which it is implemented and how the rewards should affect normal CoC gameplay/resouce availability i'll leave to others.

Im sure it has been brought up somewhere in the 200 something pages on this thread but I think it is crucial that not all the quests are singular. I think itd be great if there were clan quests too. Once a week, possibly more.

Clans arent as important as they should be in clash. If there were clan quests it would make having an active and good clan more important to everyone.

My idea is that Clan Quests are only possible for clans of 10 or more members, like clanwars. The leader and coleaders all receive a special quest balloon once a week and that balloon has even more rewarding prizes than regular weekly quests. Im not too sure what a good reward would be exactly.

Possible Clan Quests could be:
1. Clan total of 2000 donations this week.
2. Win Your next clan war by at least x amount of stars.
3. Win back to back clan wars.
4. Have you're clan get to x amount of points. (Trophy)
5. Clan wins x amount of attacks in a week.
ect.

The reason i put "x" amount is that the numbers should be relevant to each clan depending on clan size. Larger clans obviously need the numbers to be proportionally larger however, clans that are larger need to be proportionally easier as well. As this is awfully worded and sounds confusing ill offer an example.

Donate x amount of archers this week:
Clan of 20: 1500 (each member would need to donate about 10 archers a day, not too tough actually).
Clan of 40: 2500 ( each member donates about 8-9 a day, slightly easier than the clan of 20).

i feel like the quests should be slightly easier in larger clans because
1. More members means more people are responsible for chipping in which is tougher by default.
But more importantly!!
2. There should be an incentive to having a larger clan!

All in all:
Im sure someone down the line has suggested Clan Quests, either way i like sharing my thoughts on why it should be progressively easier for larger clans is a good idea. Clan Quests would add more importance to clans, which i feel is much needed.
Hope you see this mastermind as you said above youve seen every post on here! Id love to talk to u more about clan quests because i feel like its an important feature and you are obviously quite influential to SC!

I totally agree! It's actually been talked about by me a lot in the comments and is one of the features included in my next idea :) Great suggestions though and very good post, thanks man! I like it!

Thanks! Check out the thread, it explains what th Jewels are for but here is a quick summary: do Quests to earn Quest Jewels, get 50 Quest Jewels to spin a wheel to earn huge rewards!

I am TH10 nearly maxed out except from walls and starting to loose interest in the game. This will bring fresh content and maybe a new way to compete.

Maybe this should be addressed to increase competition inside the clan, I mean if you are the first to complete the task you will get 100% of the reward and reducing the reward if you are the second, third, etc. (of course in your level of TH, it is not fair to compete agains lower levels).

Just an idea, tasks but to increase the competition inside the clan.

I think the idea is brilliant!
The only aspect I disagree with are the quests themselves, and the rewards. I read what you said about the thread-bashing, but I think some feedback on the numbers could be helpful. Firstly, the Halloween Elixir quest would require over 2 million Elixir looted every day, which is impossible for the casual player.
Secondly, I'd suggest the number of wizards/dragons be toned down a bit. For example, the daily quests are 2-10 dragons, or 45 to 75 troops. I could rewrite that as 60-200 spaces worth of dragons, or 45-75 spaces worth of tier 1 troops. I'm not so much debating the number of troops you have to donate, but the ratio of quest to quest. I understand what you say about the variety, but I think in specific cases such as these, the variety is perhaps a little too much.
And I'm sure there's been enough opposition to the battle boosts, but I can't resisit adding more ;) I like the idea of quests, as long as they are kept separate from the regular gameplay. I'm all for extra resources, barrack boosts, etc, but I do think that people who don't do the quests/get unlucky in the spin having one less mine/collector than those who do the quests/are luckier is a bit much. For the same reason, I'm against the extra time/troop buffs. Again, I'm all for having perks for doing quests, but when they interfere with existing multiplayer battles, that's where I draw the line. Sure, it's rare to get them, but in some ways that makes them worse. Someone getting a lucky star, or just about getting your DE storage, because of an extra 5% health or whatever, just because he was lucky enough to get a rare perk, is a bit much IMO.
But, 95%+ of it I fully agree with, and I've only ever met one guy more critical of new ideas here. So an 'I agree' from me is the equivalent of most people inviting you round for a party and...:cool:

Loved the Idea, It will be awesome to have a daily challege that make us to enter more often to our village, because in TH8 I am little bored cause I have to wait many timne until next upgrade, I dont want to think how would it be in TH10 :O
