This is my idea for the story line:

The skeleton lived in a peaceful village until one day his village was attacked by a creature. In his atempt to survive he found a war balloon. Over his years in atempt to entertain him self he inspected the tree he lived in. One day he saw a hole and looked into it and he saw the tree was hollow. I started to read. Brain hurt. And gave up. Although it's quite easy to understand what your going for and I like the idea! You are right. Does get boring just build raid and repeat. Same thing with clan wars now. Got old quite fast. Nothing to GRAB your attention. For me atleast. I find in my experience, games with daily quests and all are more fun cause there is more to do, and keeps you on during that day to complete the quest(s). Great work in explaining your idea in GREAT detail. Now I need to take a nap so my brain can function after trying to read this.

Urmm...Maybe a time bonus could be added, like you showed: Donate 60 troops in 4 hrs, There are two users one completed in 3 hrs other in half an hour, so there should be some bonus for example urmm...say he has better chances to get gems or quest jewels.
One way SC could benefit from this is that then people would like to spend gems to complete tasks as early as possible and eventually they will run out of gems and not all but at least some would buy it.

I like your suggestions and especially the first one ;) On the last 3, could people just use all wall breakers or surrender when the troops are deployed?

Mastermind out of all your ideas, this one is the best. Have you tried to email Supercell this idea? (Hopefully they listen, because sometimes they have bad customer service). So far this is my favorite idea in the forums. Clash on!:cool:

A suggestion for the story of how the balloon got to those quests:
The wall breakers had two races one the inferior who sacrificed themselves, others the superior ones, who got to ride in balloons. One day one of the Balloon wallbreaker felt pity for his fellow beings and couldn't take it anymore, he started a protest along with all the other balloons against this racism. unfortunately those balloons were no match to the wizards and dragons. The Balloons were boycotted and sent into the wild. One day one of the balloon found a cave which was filled with vast treasure. The balloons were kimd hearted so they thought to share the treasure, but only when the chieves did what they want.

Thanks robo, glad you're for it! The rewards however are just examples I created and could be changed to anything. However, I thought long and hard about the fairness of them, in making them very appealing rewards without making them unfair, and while potentially controversial, I personally do not find them unfair at all. An extra mine has been talked about for a long time and would not ruin the game's economy in my opinion. The battle boosts are definitely not unfair in my opinion, but the Builder one could be controversial. Although at 5%, I don't think it is unfair at all. I like the idea of some rewards being better than others, which would get more people playing and trying to acquire these specific objects. Your thinking is not uncommon though ;)

Great idea! I love how much detail you put into all your posts! I hope this gets added, it would give the game more variety.


IMO, it seems kind of pointless to wait so long to spin the wheel of riches, just to get half the amount of quest jewels to get another. It's like paying two quarters to spin a wheel at an arcade and getting a reward of one quarter. So I think that quest jewels should either not be gotten by the wheel of riches, or 100 quest jewels must be rewarded (to give the user two more spins).

Really cool idea! Keep coming up with more!

The Wheel rewards are came up with are just examples though. However, the free Quest Jewels I think would be the most desired reward because it's a free spin, 25 Quest Jewels for you, AND 5 Quest Jewels for each member of your clan! The Free Spin was added after the post was made. You can only get the free spin once per time though.

As a former mmo player, I can not emphasize it enough but time based quests are great to add diversity.
Good work on the depth of the content, I hope SC will add it eventually, clearly 50% of the overall work is done.

Quitting such games was very hard and required several attempts.

Wow, just wow, that was pretty amazing, I took the time to read that, and found it very interesting, and enjoyable. It is very apparent how much time, effort, and thought you put into this, so thank you. I really think this is a very good idea! =D I did have a couple (2) thoughts however. A) On the wheel of rewards that you have, I think the rewards could be slightly redone. The ones you have their are OK, but have potential to be GREAT. B) I don't know much about coding and what not, but it does seem like it would be rather difficult to implement some of the missions, as it would be rather difficult to look at all the factors that would change from person to person, like you said, TH level and that sort of thing would determine how difficult the quests would be, it just seems like that would be a hard task. IDK though, I'll leave that up to SC.

I have been waiting for this to come since I read it… This idea puts Clan Wars in the shadow. Lets just hope Supercell implement this as fast as possible (when I am done with exams, lol)

A.) Have any suggestions for the rewards to be redone? Not sure if you mean they are too powerful or too underpowered, as I've heard both sides hehe.

B.) True, some of the missions could be tough to code, but I feel like a majority of them would be rather easy for them. Any particular ones you can think of that might be tough to code?

Name : The anger of the Fliers
Quest : Use flying troops to destroy 'x' anti air missiles

Quest : Use dragons too destroy 'x' Inferno Towers

I like this idea a lot. The inferno towers would have to have some checks done first. One of them being 'loaded' and another 'under construction' this would make it so a person would actually have to do a proper raid. (If the defender can place infernos in a prime location to defend.

#2... Rewards for spamming minions Lawl :D
but yeah, it would kinda something you do but while still trying to win the raid.

1.WE DONT NEED A KING:
Kill 10 barbarian kings with barbarians only.

2. AWAY WITH THE QUEEN:
Kill 10 archer queens with archers only.

3. Girl power:
Get 2 stars on a base with only archers,healers,valkyries or witches,

4.Fear the beard:
Get 2 stars on a base with only barbarians,wizards or hog riders.

It's to detailed to be on standby. Can't wait to see this in the future update. The bonuses are a bit unusual but the explanation and all the details around it is just flawless

Feather, that is actually one thing I talk about in the thread, about SC adding an option to buy Jewels, which I'm not a huge fan of but would totally understand. If they did however, they'd need to add a cap on the number of times the wheel could be spun to around 2-3 weeks!

Feather, that is actually one thing I talk about in the thread, about SC adding an option to buy Jewels, which I'm not a huge fan of but would totally understand. If they did however, they'd need to add a cap on the number of times the wheel could be spun to around 2-3 weeks!

I'm pretty sure SC has ruled out the concept of an inventory for base buildings & walls (which is understandable), but with the prospect of holiday quests and therefore holiday decoration rewards, I think SC ought to implement an inventory in which ONLY decorations could be stored. People could theme their bases during holidays, and it prevents loss of earned decoration rewards due to lack of space.

Would you mind explaining the inventory concet a bit more? I'me having trouble following, especially when it comes to walls and buildings. Thanks!

As far as the builder issue, my idea for a 5-15% reduction was just an idea as a rare reward and they could make any reward they wanted, wouldn't have to follow mine ;) As for why I included it, I figured it would be a very valuable reward, but as a wheel spin once every 3-4 weeks, and having just a 1/16 chance of landing on it, and the reward lasting for 5 days would hardly make it overpowered or prevent people from buying gems. In fact more people would buy gems/jewels for the hopes of getting a reward like that and for this idea in general, especially if the rewards were worth it. Thanks!

I posted my complaint a while ago, but feel I should do so again. This isn't what a game should be about.. This is a rather mundane pointless task, that while reading it at first, sounds cool and fun, but being burdened by it daily, will make you grow weary and tired of the game. This is exactly the problem with modern video games, they lost true creativity and adopted a point and play style, aka, 'Go here and do this task, "great" now go here and do this task' Repeat and Repeat.

Mastermind will counter this with you do not have to participate, but please, you will feel obligated to participate. There are so many current features with the game that can occupy your time, why do you guys feel you need to cook up and donate five wizards to get the daily elixer bonus? What's going to happen in your clan when no one wants wizards in that time frame? This idea will grow so boring and tiresome in such a short period of time. Just think it through for a few minutes, picture yourself getting these daily tasks and say, do I really need this to enjoy this game?

I looked through your post history and didn't see another post from you in this thread. But that's ok, you're definitely entitles to your opinion. Just as SC knows, no matter how good an idea is, not everyone will like it. Where you have stated you don't, a thousand have said they do, so it's all good!

But on to your points: You keep mentioning being burdened daily with it. Most of them are simple, fun tasks to change up the monotony. In your example of donating wizards, it's a quest designed to get your clan mates involved to help you, and help them. Not sure who wouldn't want wizard donations, but even if you didn't do it, it wouldn't have a negative effect.

SC as already stated they know this idea would make more people active, and I'm sure they are well aware how this idea could be monetized without being too in-your-face-obvious. You answered your own complaint and knew what I would say when stated that it is optional. If you don't do them, great, if you do great. It is up to the individual player to bring about more resources, something that has been complained about for months, and also inject more variety into the game other than the same old thing. When you say the idea will grow tired and boring-some, that's what a lot of people are feeling about the current monotony in the game. Adding hundreds of quests will give people something to look forward to between clan wars and basic farming, as well as adding rewards people would want to achieve.

You sound a bit like a previous poster a couple months ago, so I'm sure that was you, and I don't think there is anything I ca say to make you like the idea, not matter what I point you to. So it's all good, like I said you can think whatever you want! I don't agree with your thinking, just like you don't with the idea. Some criticism I have agreed with or seen people's points about are potential rewards and types of quests, but the idea of optional quests being a problem I don't agree with.

maybe there could be quests where you have to win x amount of battles with a certain strategy such as GoWiPe, GoWiWi, batch, bam, bag, air raid, hog raid, so SK forth?

Umm obviously he is just going forward in time to see what supercell will implement in the game and then coming back to suggest them to make him look good. It's the only explanation for how good this stuff is. I don't think that the quest gems should be available in the reward for the wheel. The Quest gems should be a different shape than the original gems.

The out of the ordinary thing is the wheel of fortune,which I would really want though, but for example stealing more cups from your opponent can be a real burden, e.g. When you revenge someone when he's like 400 cups above you so if you 100% him you get the max 56 cups now achievable but with that boost 10% you will steal about 60-61 cups from him. Yes I know it's once a month and that holiday bonuses are also once per 2-3 updates but getting so much extra stuff will make our territory full (expansion, cut that forest down :)) It will take some time but still.
Nevertheless as said before: I want it! Boost the economy! More gems (red)

Lol, well that is the most controversial reward of the bunch and they could either go with that idea (honestly don't think it's unfair at all) or just make it a 1 week boost to whatever resource it lands on (for your current mines/pumps/drills).

Instead of a permanent gold mine or elixer pump, make it a permenant boost for 5 days with a 50% increase on total storage :)

As its a boost, the 50% would be removed with the boost.

total storage of collectors. Since I had the message in reference to the collectors, I thought it would be clear. Sorry about that :-)

First i appreciate your work.And supercell should think about it but daily quest should be only one and every fifth day there should mega quest day which should bit hard but get cool prize.FOR mega quest a person should have to complete those 4 days quest too. :)

The extra resources would be added directly into storages.
If your storages where to be full, the resources would disappear, just like raiding with full storages.

Thanks for the appreciation and kind words :) SC community managers replied pretty early in the thread, like in the first 20 pages or so I believe, and have mentioned this idea in various interviews for ideas they'd like to see in the game, so at least there's that hehe.

Great idea. It would be awesome to have this feature or part of it implemented in the game. Daily,weekly,monthly quest to break the monotonous game play. Adds more variety to the game !
