Hopefully th big idea wasn't clan wars, this could of meant single player maps or clan villages (Somethin like it) then we gets quests! That would be great. I wonder if this is the update were quests are finally added!

When maxing a th stage at the end youre like what the hell can i do right know?! Because it takes so long to get the gold etc. or until the upgrades are finished. I think that quests would be a great way to hold up the fun during such a period.
Only thing i would change is the look of the wheel of riches to make it fit more to the game. :)

Just re-read this and still think its the best idea anyone has come up with for this game. Quests could be fun and can also help players get through an on going grind for walls without getting bored.

Thanks bud for the good ideas! We've actually discussed Clan Quests in the comments and it will be in my new thread :) Yeah the wheel is optional for them to do, but having something with rare and great prizes are a must IMO for a lotttt of reasons that I describe throughout the OP.

Thanks for the post! I'd LOVE to come to SC if they asked (especially since this thread has been the spearhead for the idea, not really talked about before this), and share all the info about Quests collected over the past 1-2 years from the fans, comments, and suggestions in here. There are a lot of ideas here that could better the game and make a larger profit for SC if done right.
Not sure if you read the thread but there are a LOT of ways to monetize this idea, detailed in the thread and expanded on greatly throughout the comments. I will focus on this a lot in the 2.0 version, but in short, the idea makes total sense for SC to implement from a "keeping players happy" perspective, but more so from a business stance. If requested, I'll list out every way.

It's tough to balance because for some they are too easy, some they are too hard, and the numbers would all scale based on difficulty and a number of factors... so it would be fair for everyone!
I wrote in the OP that this image was found on the internet and I Photoshopped it to have CoC stuff, and also stated that the wheel shouldn't look like this, but it's all I could do since I'm not an artist hehe. I think this is from Second Life actually. But if there was a wheel (instead of a store) it would be 2D and have the same art branding as currently in game to match up.

Thanks for your input isaactan! Yes as you were asking in your comment, I've talked about how higher league players will not feel forced to drop trophies to complete Quests. They would never get quests like use a bunch of WBs to destroy 50 wals, or anything like that. They would get league appropriate ones and in fact get MORE loot to ENCOURAGE players to push in trophies. I also think a "protect your TH quest" would be very common so more people would not have their TH's on the outside which could help some with loot.
As far as Quests and monetizing it is concerned, yes i agree and I describe it in the main thread but will expand upon all 10-15 ways this idea can be monetized! It really makes sense for them to add it from a business perspective :) Stay tuned!
True, there could be a simple, extremely basic Quest system for a small amount of loot and very small amount of gems like you listed, but that would be a very minor update, possibly boring, and people want something exciting. This idea seems complicated because I add a lot of behind the scenes numbers on how the system would work that the public wouldn't see. It's this simple: 5 quests a day, complete 5 in a week and get a Weekly, 4 in a month to get a monthly. Do them to get resources and a few Jewels. Those Jewels then can be used (wheel, store, w/e) to get prizes that are new, exciting, and fun, and a reason for maxed players to keep spending and playing. Things like cosmetics for heroes, bases, decorations, battle boosts, etc, as well as a myriad of other prizes! And that's it. All summarized in a couple sentences. I just go into (probably too much) detail to describe every little thing hehe.
