Well it did take sc a while for clan wars so i expect the quest balloon idea to come hopefully before 2015 or it'll be in 2015. Im fairly certain that sc has already started on the quests because they can't ignore it from the amount of support from it. It just a matter of time...

I just spent quite a bit of time reading through this hooked on he idea, it is fantastically well thought out and tho a few ideas may be a bit impractical or harder to implement it is one of the best suggestions I have ever seen on a game forum. It would add so much more reason to spend more time playing the game and experimenting with other troops.

As I'm sure you're probably tired of hearing by now, this thread has left me starry eyed. The amount of detail, thought and effort is just staggering. Nothing else to add other than wow, congrats on having the best thread I've seen on the forums thus far and give this man a trophy.
I sincerely hope they are working on this, the enjoyment that would come out of what you have put foward is truly something to hope for in clash!

Let's just say at 200 pages there might be a surprise announcement! (No it's not that I've been told this idea is coming to game). It's not really that big, but think you may like :)
I humbly think that all players should consider these things.
Honestly, I did not check all hundreds of pages, so please forgive me if this question or argument has been stated by some other users in the forum.
1) Daily/Weekly/Monthly questing will encourage people to be more active. Sure we are active. But keep in mind that other players will, too. So, less loot, especially those in their collectors / mines / drills. This will tip the balance of the whole game into more questing than raiding others. Not saying it's going to turn upside down though.
2) Holiday questing. Supercell gave events during holiday sometimes just for fun, not for us to pursue better chance at progressing our base. Why? Because it's a holiday, and we're supposed to have fun outside, not sitting duck at our home pressing the Next button.
3) Questing for profit. I get the idea of questing, but having the players to spend a specific amount of troops to complete the quest is not so nice. It may very well bring loss than profit for the players.
4) Defensive quests. I don't think players will want to get attacked just to get the quests done. People that have really tough bases for their trophy will never get attacked, and thus will never complete the quest. And people that has high trophy count will not even bother to get this quest done (i think).
5) Mine / Collector / Drill reward permanently. If the amount of is increased, it will be tougher to get to 50% (1 star) value. People will keep going for this not for the economic reason, but for trophies, or war.
6) Wheel's reward is too game breaking. 10 extra troop space and spell boost will definitely matter significantly in the game. If it's intended, then SC will have to do the experiment and calculate everything thoroughly.
Okay, pout pout pout. I keep on giving negative feedbacks to this idea. So do I have a better solution?
For the problem in #1, I'd suggest that the quests not have a timer. So the quests will pop at an interval, stacking at 5 at most. Not completing it will not make the quests fail, but instead it will just stop popping more.
For #2, I'd suggest that the quests have a longer time limit. For example, 1 week after and before the event (or the holiday ends or starts). This way the people will not only enjoy the event, but they are no longer encouraged to sit out a holiday.
For #3 and #4, I'd suggest that the reward varies, or do more number crunching, or just retweak it. For example, instead of using 75 barbarians to get 3 stars, just get 1 star. Or using 10 wizards, tone it down to 2 or 4.
For #5, it's quite simple. For production boosting, unlock a level of the mine/collector/drill. Give 1 level to just one of the structures. Looking at the TH7 being able to get Level 11 (max), I'd say give the unlockables until level 14 (1 level per TH). But then again, spending 50 quest jewels for just 1 upgrade is too much of a tedious process i think. Well, number varies, but you get the idea.
Overall? I think this feature is a great idea. And with all due respect, supercell has to do something with the gameplay instead of keep releasing new units or buildings, or new TH level. It's not that I'm saying that their gameplay is flawed, heck I think it's even perfect. This forum need more people like Mastermind. :D
