Task 1- Harvest 420 Sugarcane for 395 points.
Task 2- Harvest 148 Tomatoes,116 Potatoes and 240 corn for 355 points.
Task 2 takes more than double the time task 1 takes and still points are more for Task 1.
And are truck order tasks are worth it? I mean 32 orders for 320 points? The amount of items required for those order are very high compared to the points.
No they are not balanced, at least in terms of effort (measured by time) to complete. The 400 point basket task takes at least 7x as long to complete as the 395 point sugar cane task.

I don't do truck tasks. I wouldn't recommend it. But its up to you. Its always time-limited and the task expires for me EVERY time!!! I stopped doing it. Same with boat. I do boat, but not for derby. But, again, for the truck task, you didn't mention the time limit.
Yes, they are high point tasks, but will you be able to fully accomplish the task in the allotted time limit! Not all the tasks are "until end of derby." And then there's also a time limit for the event as well. Example, you have a time limit on the boat itself and other time limit on the boat task. U have to be thinking of 2 time limits for the same thing. The boat has a time limit of 3 hours, lets say, for the boat itself. Then a 3 hour wait time for next boat. And the derby might ask for 3 boats for a certain time period, lets say 23 hours 30 minutes.
Well a help task versus a townie or boat task is much harder...
Well the problem is not the time limit,the problem is that some tasks take too much effort with very less points and some tasks offer huge amount of points with very less effort.Quote:

I'm stopping doing this derby. Each 400 task ist the same. Each. One. The. Same. No matter how many of them you delete. This is so annoying. No fun at all.
Well I'd say I guess it depends on how you define balanced. If you define it by looking at the time it takes to complete them or at the amount of effort it takes then no not quite. And before I continue let me say that it is my opinion they shouldn't be.Quote:

People who play solo in a hood for example can find town visitor tasks difficult whereas in hoods where you can pick up lots of townies they are relatively easy. For me this is one of my favorite tasks.
My hood for example doesnt care about the number of trashes and the global leaderboard so we trash tasks we dont like to do. We generally dislike tasks such as strawberries, goat milk, wool so they get auto trashed along with all the rest including 320 value tasks of those. We do care about the derby prizes and we usually only keep 320 tasks anything else gets trashed. Why? because that fits our playing style. Tasks which aren't 320 got stuck on the board with no one wanting them and they just take up spots. By trashing more aggressively the better tasks will also show up eventually. This is a playing style which isn't for everyone but it works for us and finding the right hood which plays derby to fit your playing style will definitely help in making derby enjoyable.
Back to easy / difficult tasks. Whether something is difficult or easy also depends on your situation at the time. Wheat, corn and sugarcane etc tasks can be quite easy however they do require baby sitting as the amount of time allowed is relatively short and not everyone can always do that.
I find most production tasks to be relatively easy. They require little baby sitting but just take time and to me are perfect for the really busy days where I can't check the game every half hour or hour.
Animal feed tasks I find relatively easy if I have time to baby sit and feed a lot of chickens and cows. Usually during derby I keep my animals ready to be collected and a full round of feed stocked so if such a task shows then I can start off with 75 animals fed in a few minutes.
Truck tasks can be difficult in the amount of product they need however a little prep work will make those easier as well and the trade off is they can be done fast. Normally I don't do trucks at all. However in between I'm working on prepping the truck board trashing every order and waiting for 9 nice and easy orders to start with in case I get a truck order. I will get one eventually and then I have a nice board to start with.
Then there's a matter of the right timing of the tasks as in the right task showing up at the right time. A milk task is relatively easy and reasonably fast with 5 ish hours. However the time allowed for the task is 13 hours so for me that's a no no when it shows up late at night. A spa task for example on the other hand which takes longer is a perfect overnight task. I can queue everything in the evening and it's almost done in the morning.
So you see there are lots of things which define if a task is easy or more difficult and much of it depends on your playing style and schedule at the time.

Derby is a team sport. In a NH, you might have stronger and less strong members. For instance, I have 166 fields and a comfortably sized barn and silo. Most tasks are easier for me than for a lvl 30 farmer. So, overall, it is totally fair that there are very easy tasks like help and wheat which might - within the NH - be assigned to the younger farmers, while the high level farms do boats and production tasks.
