Technically yes, however this is all relative. So you will get to crystal easily like you can go up in gold now, but majority of players would be in crystal farming like they farm in gold now.Quote:

Below 1000, yes you get more trophies for a win, but it is a sliding scale so the closer you get to 1000 the less the difference between trophies won vs lost. So this won't change - once you get over 1000 trophies, chances are you're TH6+ and many will fight to go up and get to 1250 for the gems, then decide what farming range suits them best. An influx of new players won't change this IMO.
So basically, I think the 250 gems for Crystal, and 100 for Masters, has already changed the landscape quite a bit, and we won't see it change much more, no matter how many new players come on. From Crystal 2, you've basically got the "serious" players. Good TH9+ will easily do well there, and some will push for Masters to get 1000 gems, and/or other reasons. Good TH8 can hang around Crystal 2, but it's a struggle to get higher and actually stay there, and I don't see that changing - there are just not enough TH8 to live from, you still have to attack TH9+ to get by, ideally a poor TH10 but again above 2200 there are not that many to go around.
Thing is, an influx of new players just means: some will slowly but surely grow and become just like those who have been around longer; some will make a mess of their base, give up, and depending on the state of their base it will be farmed up or down the trophies, until it's lost - potentially it could be farmed up to Crystal if it's a solid TH9+, or down down down if it's a poor base...
