So because all anyone put in DD for 10 hours was freaking eggs and other useless things at max price I had to spend 4 diamonds to get 3 blackberries.To say I'm dissapointed with everyone and their 'roadside shops' is putting it lightly....This is only worsened by the constant whining on this forum about 'selfish' players.... Seriously sheeple advertise something worthwhile... End of rant.Also yes I am aware that my anger is probably misdirected and that it's only a game. But still.....
The DD is unhelpful that way, you can never find what you need, but it's everywhere when you're not looking.
You could always post on the food trading thread and people will be glad to help you out. Your neighbors most probably has it too and all you have have to do is sent them a pm/kik.

I remember what it was like at lower levels, when all there was in the DD was eggs. Then I discovered the answer: More friends. So I added a hundred plus friends, and after that, if there was anything I needed (excluding super rare items) I would find it by visiting my friends shops.
That really sucks :-( I always have enough blackberries in silo although I don't harvest my own (they are for decoration purpose only, after I harvested them 4 times). I was able to help if you asked help for boat, but as I can see you needed them for truck delivery and posted on forum I am sory that I missed your post but I completely understand your disappointment.Quote:

Consider planting more blackberry bushes and harvesting them in cycles (as needed) so you won't overrun your farm with dead plants.
Well said Tinkerbell. Friends shops are the best way to find the things you need. I shop the DD but I don't rely on it. When I was able to buy the rasberry/blackberry bushes I lined my farm with them and just harvested as needed. They made for good useful decoration.Quote:

I very rarely advertise ( usually by accident) but I do put the "good stuff" in my shop every day so of course if you weren't a friend or follower you wouldn't see it. I'm having a love/hate relationship with the DD. In the beginning levels you can find everything, then as you level up it gets harder to find. Meaning I would go through almost every advertisement (to the farm itself) just to find it. You kinda develop an intuition on what farm items they might be selling based on an advertisement. I could visit 15-25 farms in one DD trying to fill boat orders for myself and neighbors. But it's expensive and time consuming. I'm proof of this, as I'm lv 40 and just recently purchased an ice cream maker. Sad, I know. I didn't know this community existed until recently.
From what I've seen in the DD, one can find all fruits and veggies from AD jumping/digging. Juices, fishy items, and ice creams are possible during non-events. And if you see an ad with jelly beans/chocolate bars then it's like winning the lotto or meeting a celebrity. ;) But you gotta have a fast connection, time, and lots of coins. The other alternative is finding friendly high level players that don't advertise and/or a strict policy on raiding.
