Complete revamp of the PVE system
The current goblin bases are quite weak. This is because they were made to be a challenge for maxed players when the game came out, and has remained unchanged since. However, Heroes, 3 new TH levels, DE troops, More troops, and new spells have been released since.
My suggestion is to add three new regions, along with the currently existing Goblin Region. Namely the Barbarian Region, the Giant Region, and the Dragon Region.
This update also changes the appearance of the Attack menu. When you tap the Attack button, a menu shows up with three buttons - Attack Multiplayer, PVE, Public PVE. PVP is unchanged, and Public PVE will be discussed later. When you tap PVE, a map shows up, showing which regions you have completed in gold (Though those can still be revisited and redone, though they offer no rewards after you beat them the first time.) Locked Regions Appear grayed out with a yellow lock over them. The region you are currently working on is red, with a bar showing what percentage of it you have completed. Now, let us get into the statistics of each region.
Barbarian Region:
75 Levels
You must earn 120 stars in Goblin Region to unlock.
Barbarian King, Bomb Tower, and X-bow start to appear.
There are achievements at 15, 75, and 225 stars.
Special: Each hut contains four level 5 barbarians, which burst out of the rubble and fight to defend the base.
Giant Region:
100 Levels
You must earn 200 stars in Barbarian region to unlock.
Archer Queen, Geared up Cannon, Inferno Tower, Clan Castle, and Eagle artillery start to appear.
There are achievements at 20, 100, and 300 stars
Special: when a hut is destroyed, a level 1 giant comes out and tries to repair buildings.
Dragon Region:
150 Levels
You must earn 290 stars in the Giant Region to unlock.
Grand Warden, Geared up AT, Geared up Mortar, Dragon Lord (Exclusive), and building levels and numbers start to go over the regular cap.
There are achievements at 30, 150, and 450 stars.
Special: The first time you attack a Dragon Region Base, the damage you did on the first attack stays for your second attack before resetting. Same with your 3rd and 4th attack, 5th and 6th, and so on.
Region Difficulty
Giant Region and especially Dragon Region are incredibly difficult and almost require a completely maxed TH11. Here I will be going over the difficulty of each Region, and what TH level I recommend for them.
Goblin Region-
Recommended TH level: 8
Difficulty: Trivial
Required skill level: You know how to drop troops and spells.
Barbarian Region-
Recommended TH level: 9
Difficulty-Medium
Required skill level: Basic understanding of popular strategies and Spell/ability timing.
Giant Region-
Recommended TH level: 11
Difficulty-Hard
Required skill level: Lots of experience and understanding of the purpose of every troop.
Dragon Region-
Recommended TH level: 11
Difficulty-Nightmare
Required skill level: Extreme
Dragon Lord
The Dragon Lord Appears on most Dragon region bases, appearing as level 1-30 on levels 1-145 (With a few levels missing in between) and levels 40-60 on levels 146-150. There is a simple formula for calculating the Dragon Lord’s Damage and HP
Assuming L=Level
3000*1.027^(L-1)=HP
400*1.03^(L-1)=Damage
As for the other stats, it moves fairly quickly, deals large amounts of splash damage, hits quickly, has good range, and basically proves the most powerful unit to ever be introduced
Public PVE
Public PVE is a feature that has never been seen in Coc. It is where a group of on the same server are randomly selected to fight one super-sized base. It has the same regions as regular PVE, however higher regions have larger groups of players attacking one base and a longer delay between resets. A notification appears when a Giant or Dragon base is open for attacking.
When the base is under attack, it cannot be attacked by other players, however other players can spectate the attack. If a base is beaten, a portion of the loot is given to everyone who contributed, however the amount of loot the players receive is directly proportional to how much they contributed. Players who have already beaten a base previously with a different group will not earn loot by beating it again. Loot received can exceed the storage cap
You can join a Public PVE Battle by tapping the Public PVE button in the new battle menu discussed earlier. From there, select the base you wish to attack and wait for enough players to join to initiate the battle.
