The Meerkat's Burrow - Moe's TH9 Base Collection

Aloha, dear clashers!

It has been a while, 6 days ago, I said good bye to my dear friend, known as TH9. So, during my journey as a Town Hall 9, I've had good times, and bad times also! Good loot/ bad, etc.. But, the most enjoyable part was designing the bases! I actually tried to name the designs but I couldn't hehe.. Well, here goes ;)

I took the idea about a CC+DE storage core and applied it here, with centralized xbows and funneling.

I loved how this looked like, but mortars and air defenses aren't very well protected. The ground defense results were amazing, though!

I think I used this base the most. I loved the design, as many others did. I protected the air defenses more and got the queen to the center! Teslas are placed here to zap the wallbreakers as they attack. When I had over 50k DE, I swapped my CC with the DE storage. The CC is unlurable when it is completely centered.

I tweaked this base a bit after some time, I ended up with even a prettier one!

So, I created this design when my TH10 was in progress. I tried something different this time, instead of separating the mortars from the core, i mixed them up. I was very pleased by the results! I believe this would be my TH9 masterpiece!

And that is it, my friends! I've got my TH10, and now I am living happily ever after with my clabmates! I am actually very surprised that they did not kick me and Inon after whining all the time about TH10 loot, haha!!

Very nice designs, especialy the 3rd one, however your junctions for the most part need a lot. (and I mean a lot) of work.

About as far from shabby as you can get thank you Gremlin, each a work of art in it's own right and thank you very much for sharing mr meerkat, mighty useful as a fast encroaching TH9'er, mwah! 💋

For Design #3, can you make a nice core utilizing Teslas but make the air defenses more inside and not exposed? Appreciated! :D

I was in love with that core. I love teslans, in fact, they are my favorite defense! I'll see what I could do..

I figured someone would say that, but for me, aesthetics > junctions haha. Fixing some junctions would mess up the design.

Epic post Moe, thanks for sharing! Do you thinks its possible to turn design #4 or 5 into a hybrid by getting the th inside?? I might give it a try, if thats ok with you.
