Yes, this actually does it. I use this trick from a long time, and till now it still worked.

How is this in any way illegal? It provides me with no benefits that might give me an advantage over any other players. It is not harming any players or the game. It simply allows me (others who use it) to move collectors around without emptying it. Please think twice about what you are saying instead of regurgitating what the rules say.

My main purpose of doing so is because I do not want to fill up my almost full storages, which will result in loot from raids going to waste.
