Permanent ban option

I like tbe idea but those fools you wish to have permantely banned from rejoining your clan would just make new bases then rejoin we had a guy with several bases And he kept reappearing thankfully he gave up after a few months

This is a trivial problem. Each clan has a list of blacklisted tags. Sort this list whenever a new entry is added. Compare player id tags from new join requests against the sorted blacklist. If the player id tag is on the blacklist, end loop and return a standard rejection message: "You have been blacklisted from this clan". They already do this in a limited fashion: People that get kicked from a clan have a cooldown timer that prevents the from rejoining the clan for a specific period of time.

Do you really think that a basic sort and compare is too much for Supercell to implement? OK. I guess you have less faith in their programmers abilities to cut and paste code than I do...

Agree with this. So many issues on forums seem to get written off because a select few would/could abuse it. Let them do so if it means the large majority of us enjoy it and find the quality of life change positive.

if you are disturbed with those clan members which have severely violated you clan rules or do some thing else. all you need to do is virtual Permanent ban.

I do not agree with your this feature because the way The reporting feature got misused, similarly people will misuse it to troll other players
this is How I managed:
My clan INDThallasemics, since last year, has faced lots of players who just want to troll and disturb the environment of other clans.
thrice the situation happened that in my clan Some players attempted to kick my all players. so we just kicked these players with a message that they should never join again here as for us they have been perma. banned
other two situations, two of my friends started Fighting with each other and badly swore each other in the clan chat because player A kicked Player D which is my friend. so Player B started defending him and kicking his second Id. in that case player B can inform me but he did what he wants on his own. so I Immediately demoted both and they left. and declared that they should never join again.
mentioned above the two situations about 5 players. I noted their name and Tag and other necessary info in a paper and issued a notice to all my clan mates through social group that following these 5 players are the part of our updated blacklist(permanent ban list)
if any of these joined again, Immediately kicked out by one of our members.
after sometimes these players getting annoyed and will stop joining your clan.
being a Responsible Leader of my clan you have to put several efforts rather than asking supercell to add a feature which is definitely in the field of misuse.

You're right in saying that we don't need this feature and that the same thing can be achieved through other means. But this sub forum isn't about things we need, it's about things we want. And a quality of life improvement, while not something I have great use for, is something that could certainly be helpful to a lot of people. So besides being possible through TPAs and pen and paper, do you have a reason why this shouldn't be added?

This should not be added Because Lots of Reasons. One of the Main Reason is The Misuse.
There are lots of Aother minor disadvantages of it But I need some time to Mention it :rolleyes:

this forum is about everything! If Some One Wish something could be added. We are here to make it our want with a Possible good discussion to Improve it. If it's not, Then we will Take The Issue and Consider It Through a Period of time and By discussion try to Find The Best Road of Improvement

Pretty tough to discuss if you're not willing to take the time to mention your arguments.

As far as misuse goes, I acknowledge that as a fair point. But on the other hand, any clan that would misuse the blacklist feature already misuses existing features. If I'm "unfairly" banned from a clan, I'm not going to want to join that clan again anyway
