I want ti remove game from my google account
Hi,
Sorry to hear that you want to do this. Android devices have different setting layouts, so forgive me if your Android device doesn't totally match these steps, if you'd like to let me know your device, I can give you more exact instructions.
Just click your way through this: Settings/Google/Google+/Apps with Google+ Sign-In/Clash of Clans/Disconnect
Then if you also want to uninstall the game: Settings/Apps/Clash of Clans/Uninstall
I hope this helps,
Kendra
I have a galaxy S3, how would i go about doing this?
i was wondering if you would know how i can get my clash of clan ACCOUNT back on my SG3 Android phone. I recently factory reseted my Android phone and i dont know how to get my account back when I re-download the Clash of Clan app. It will show me to make a new account and all. Does the signing in with FB or Google plus help me get it back if so do i have to register again?
I learned this lesson the hard way.
If you connected your device to an Apple GameCenter or an Android Google+ account BEFORE you performed your factory reset, then you should be fine. Simply logging in to your GameCenter or Google+ account will bring back your progress.
If you didn't do this BEFORE your factory reset, creating an account in one of these "online save" programs will only attach your new/restarted progress to your online account. In other words, ALL PROGRESS WILL BE LOST! So, if you're thinking about a factory reset, you would be better off by creating a GameCenter/Google+ account first.
You can not change the Google+ account you have saved your village to.
You can try this link to start recovering access to your Google+ account:
https://www.google.com/accounts/recovery/
Thank you for the info. I'm trying to link the account on my android phone to the app on my ipad. It appears I have an old account already linked to the ipad, so each time I try to get the code from my android to input on my ipad I receive a message (on my android) that my old ipad account will be loaded on my android. I wasn't able to figure out how to disconnect my old ipad account from google+ so that I may continue using my new android account.
Any advice? Thanks.
I think you have 2 issues here.
1) If you have an iOS game attached to your gamecenter, you can not link to it. Linking was designed to move a player from one platform to another, and requires you to log into both Google+ and Gamecenter to complete this process. Whichever device/platform is getting linked TO it must be clean (no previous game). If you want to move your android game to iOS, you need a clean/new gamecenter.
2) if shouldn't load iOS TO you android, if you're getting that prompt, you might have selected the OLD and NEW devices incorrectly.
Thanks again for the info. I think i started a game a long time ago on the ipad, quitting shortly thereafter. Then recently started one on my android when a friend of mine suggested I start a game.
It sounds like deleting and reinstalling the ipad app may solve the issue? Though I may need to delete some user files for Game Center as well, right? Any idea how to do that?
when I click on "link device" on my android, I'm prompted immediately to sign in to google+ which loads tries to load the ipad version.
anyway... Thanks for info...
Then that is yet another issue.
It sounds like you are playing on the Android while not connected to Google+ (Check in the settings if you're connected or disconnected). Because if you're logging into Google+ and getting prompted to load a different village, that is not good.
Are you sure you never linked from iOS to Android in the past?
I have tried uninstalling, etc from the ipad and when I reinstall the app the old ipad account is still active. Am I to understand that you guys would prefer that I keep 2 active accounts instead of being able to link? Seems silly and easy to take advantage of...
Yes, Supercell only supports one account per device, you can not start a new account on a device that has history (has played or loaded a CoC village).
If you want to start a new game (or link the android village over to the iOS) you have to factory reset the iOS device, then log in with a clean Gameenter.
I have a similar problem. I linked my account from my android to an ipad before and then i lost my ipad. When i bought a new one i tried linking again but it says already linked to a device. I know that the solution is logging my gamecenter account but i cant access my gc account anymore. Is it possible to unlink my coc account on the ipad that i lost so that i can link it to my new ipad?
You can not unlink from gamecenter - your best bet would be recover your gamecenter account info. When you linked to the iOS device, you created a link for your account to that gamecenter.
This link has sections for recovering a forgotten password or user ID:
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4314
You can access your account on different devices - by utilizing your personal Gamecenter or Google+ account.
Supercell, however, can not control your personal accounts. Your gamecenter is tied to your Apple ID - the link I gave you has methods to recover from a forgotten password or login name - if the links don't work, you can contact Apple directly and they should be able to assist you.
Its hopeless because my apple id was created for me years ago because i was still young back then. The person who created my account is now gone so its definitely impossible to provide the info needed to recover my apple id. Can my case be regarded as a lost village case?
I had a note 2 that I had went so far in this game and then it broke I got a new replacement and trying to link both devices I linked the new one first
When I tried to link the old one it gave me a warning that the my town well be replaced by the new level 2 town so I was not worried about and stayed all over again on the new phone now got a note 10 when I tried to link my note 2 it said the same thing even though I have been playing on the same device the whole time
My son started playing his own game on his tablet. He had downloaded the game through my Google Play account. After days of messing around, I created a new Google account in his name, added that account to his tablet, and then chose to sign into google play in game. It gave me the choice of which account to sign in under - I chose the new one. After 10 or so minutes of loading and info transfer, his existing game was changed over. So, you can do it.
You were able to connect to his "new" Google+ account because he had never connected it to your Google+ account.
Google Play, Google Account, etc is different from the Google+ element that the village is being attached to.
I would click settings in-game and look to check if his "Google+ Sign-In" button is red for disconnect - meaning he's successfully connected.
I understand now. Just because it was downloaded it wasn't linked. Good to know. I'm still relieved, I didn't want him to accidentally lose his game.
Quick question. If he signs in under my account on his tablet, will it change to my village without having to erase his data? Or will it just not load?
I had played game on my other Android device and linked it but quit. Came back later on my phone made account and bought some gems level city high and such. I go to link my device and forgot that I had linked previously. Is there any way to switch which account my g+ is linked to?
No - you cannot change a link once it is made, you will need to make a new G+ account, follow these instructions:
Go to device settings > Accounts > New Account > Google > New
Make a new account.
Now open Clash and press connect, you will be given the option to choose which account to log into. Choose the new one you just created. The main village is now backed up to the New G+ account.
Shiv
Thanks for this procedure. Will try this as I have the exact same issue. My son started playing with his mother's tablet, and thus linked his village to her google+ account. Now he has his own tablet and would like to have his village relinked to his own google+ account (so he doesn't need to ask his mother for her password if he changes anything in the future).
I guess you should follow this procedure on a tablet that already has the village loaded, and should first disconnect from the "old" google account, correct ?
Maybe a stupid question, but does that mean the same village is now linked with both google+ accounts, or is it really transferred from one account to the other ? If transferred, does this mean my wife could eventually start a new game and link it to her google+ account in the future (really out of curiosity, don't think she will ever want to ;-) ).
Thanks
Iam sorry to say that, but this is absolutely ridicolous. Googles terms say you have to enter real data and names for an account, so how should it officially be possible to restart your game or correct a (device-)link made accidentally?
I have a similar situation as described by other users in this thread: I accidently linked the game instance from my android-tablet (TO which I wanted to sync my data) before linking the game instance from my android-phone (FROM which I wanted to sync my data). The instructions that I found for linking devices did not say a single word, that you have to link the old device first. Bad luck...
Now everytime I try to log into my Google+-Account from within CoC on my old device, I get asked if I want to overwrite my current progress with the new level 2-village from my tablet. And you are going to tell me, that there is no way to delete this useless data that is now linked to my G+-account?
I also do not understand, what the problem is to transfer gamedata FROM my old device to my G+-account, just because I linked the new device first. Tranferring gamedata TO my old device is possible, but transferring gamedata FROM the old device is not possible? I would be really curious to hear the technical explanation for that.
Can it be, that the problem is Supercell and not technical? Is the gamedata saved in my G+-account? Or is it saved on Supercells server together with a link to my G+-account, that they just dont want to change?
And what exactly is saved to Facebook, when connecting to it? Uninstalling, reinstalling and reconnecting to FB does not revocer any progress, so I do not understand, the sense of this "feature".
They do NOT change links because it VIOLATES their OWN privacy policy. Your ID has been given a unique integer on the SC servers. If you want your proper village backed up see the instructions I gave earlier on in the thread.
I am curious to see which guide you followed for linking your game...
Facebook is used for you to see your friends progress on the game.
Yes, great. It violents their OWN privacy policy:-) Very funny. So why dont they just change their own policy? And what privacy can be violated, if I myself ask for deleting my data? Again: Ridicolous. I have never seen a worse solution for saving or synchronizing gamedata.
And I still have no clue what the problem for Supercell would be to delete a link or gamedata if the user asks for it. In the end, if you made it to link the wrong device first, you can not link or backup your gamedata anymore. Not unless you accept to create a second account and violate Google terms. You are not going to tell me, that you think THIS solution is a good one, are you?
BTW, I followed this instructions:
http://touchportal.de/tutorials/clas...d-uebertragen/
This is ths first google-hit when entering "clash of clans spielstand übertragen". I hope you are able to read german.
At least it would be a good idea of Supercell to clearify that Facebook is ONLY for getting in touch with friends. And that a G+-account is forever linked to a savegame BEFORE one hits the "connect"-button. But...nothing.
Yes, that is my solution. Here is proof that it IS allowed.
https://productforums.google.com/for...il/nLo6EDGPE-c
See, you followed unofficial instructions. Forum ones explain it clearly.
1. What do you mean by "Yes, that is my solution"?
2. Your link is about GMail and not Google+, which we are talking about. This is certainly a big difference.
3. Your link points to a forum-post, that is answered by someone called "JohnSk". Why do you think this is an official Google-statement? Or a proof that their terms and policies allow multiple accounts?
4. Can you please tell me where exactly you pointed out that one has to link the old device first, because he otherwise locks his G+-account with unusable-gamedata?
5. Do you agree that this solution is a bad, user-unfriendly solution or not? BTW, I play a couple of games and this is the only, yes the ONLY, one that does not allow me to save my gamedata from my device (e.g. adb -backup) AND does not allow me to save the data somewhere else in case I used another device with the same game and G+- oder FB-Account.
Clash is a server game, things are stored on the server, the game gets the game information from the server. If you are allowed multiple gmail accounts, why wouldn't you be allowed multiple personal G+ accounts? What do you mean with 4?
3, I searched it on other sites, you can search it if you want.
And if you only found this single post, couldnt it be, that Iam right?
Anyway, as you said a mail-account is a mail-account, a Google+-Account is a PERSONAL account which belongs to a person and is officially not allowed to be used with fake data for name, etc. That policy is the same for facebook and other social networks, BTW.
Could you please also reply to 1., 2. and 5.?
Apart from all that, how should I connect my device to a different G+-account? As I do not have the possibility to enter the G+-account-credentials in CoC, I would have to configure it centrally in my device. This means I would have to use this second G+-account for all other games on this device as well.
Is it always necessary to quote my full previous post? It is just above your post, so there is no need to repeat it, I think.
Hi,
There is no point replying to the questions because I can tell you that it won't be changed in the future. At one point it was possible to overwrite villages, they made that impossible. Anyone could send a mail from your phone, anyone could overwrite your village.
Do you give your phone to people, who do things with it you dont want them to???
Honestly, if I would do so, I would have bigger worries than having a deleted CoC-savegame. This is, again, ridicolous.
I also dont understand what the fact, that you dont think, that the current behaviour wont be changed in the future has to do with the following questions!?!?!?
-------------------------------
1. What do you mean by "Yes, that is my solution"?
2. Your link is about GMail and not Google+, which we are talking about. This is certainly a big difference.
My phone is always pin-locked and, you can be sure, there was never anyone that got hold of my phone without my agreement. I dont know, how you handle your phone, but thats the way I and all people I know do it. Loosing your phone to someone you do not trust... I dont know, what you are trying to creatively build as a threat here.
NO, THIS IS NOT A SOLUTION. It is against Googles terms and policies. So SC should take care of a real solution.
And, again: Answers to my other questions?
Look, Shiv is right. Supercell never removed/changed links and never will.
Because...?
This is the official SC-forum and I would like to have a solution from them. I dont know if shivampaw is a representative of SC or not, but I have a problem and I would like to have a solution from SC. And therefore Iam not accepting someone creating strange arguments, that should give the impression that there is no solution. Or that the problem is not a problem, but a feature that makes sense.
I'm not a rep or anything like that. All I will say now in this thread is:
SC have other things to do, they are Staff. They cannot reply to all bug topics. I am telling you what is OFFICIAL. Changing and removing links is not allowed, never has been and never will be. If you aren't going to make another G+ account then don't, it isn't SC's fault that you initially linked the wrong village.
We can go on like this forever:
Creating another G+-account is a violation of Googles terms and policies. And it would affect all other games on the same device using the G+-account of the device, so it is not a solution.
That I linked the "wrong" device in the beginning is, at least, also SCs fault as there is no help in the game or any official tutorial explaining how to setup a link correctly. And, much more important, there is no information or warning that a link can never be removed. I bet 90% of the users will find this information too late hidden in, e.g. this forum. Honestly, how do you search for a solution in such a case, if there is no help available in the game? Reading ALL pages and google-hits or use the best tutorial that you find under the first hits?
Apart from that there are so many other reasons than linking the wrong device, why removing a link could be necessary. Most of them are described by other users in this thread extremely well, so I wont repeat them here.
I find it extremely arrogante to state that its all the fault of the users of the product. Even more when the software has such a poor strategy for saving gamedata.
Why is the information you write official, if you are not a rep of SC??? Why do you not admit, that SCs solution for saving and linking gamedata is poor, if you have nothing to do with the company? There are so many odds in your arguments.
"SC have other things to do, they are Staff."? Sure, saving game-progress is pretty unimportant for a game with which users want to have fun. They shouldnt take care about such nonsense, if the users pay for ingame content and cant save it properly.
Official Tutorial: http://forum.supercell.net/showthread.php/158103
Because it isn't poor.
SC removing Links and changing them is violation of their Policy as well.
Hidden? In the settings there are links to the forums. If it was hidden the forum wouldn't have soo many members.
What I am posting is 100% true.
If you linked your acount to the wrong village then it is YOUR fault, not supercell's- supercell is not on your device, they do not set up your links or change your accounts, and shiv has offered the solution that supercell has already confirmed to be their official solution.
If you would like to get an answer from someone official, I suggest sending a message to customer service or PMing a forum mod or admin- you will get the same suggestion as shiv has (Most kindly and tolerantly) given here. There isn't any use arguing on a matter just because the solution doesn't seem to fit- it is what supercell recommends you to do, and will not make exceptions.
Okay, Please help my situation:
I have a good progress game of CoC on Gmail account "A" (TH level 7 and so so...)
Recently i forgot the password to access that account.
I'm now still able to play CoC game on my old phone. Now i want to change into my new phone.
The question is, can i transfer the current progress with TH level 7 into new device? even create new Gmail account?
Please instruct me to do, cuz i don't want to lost current progress.
In case of create new Gmail account, Do i have to complete the "first instruction to make TH into level 2" or not?
Once i create a new Gmail account, and tried to "save" with new one, but Game said can't not login due to this game is currently linked to another device.
What did i do wrong?
Please help.
Sorry,
If you read this thread there is nothing that can be done. You have to get access to the account.

Hi
It's not possible for you to change/remove a link, links are permanent.
I Have already do the steps on my andriod phone yesterday, i open my coc in my ipad and i click "link device" my problem is i want it to connect my village in my new andriod device again but it says "already linked. sorry if my english is bad i hope you understand
Here is my scenario.
My Android Tablet: Over Christmas time my 11 year old son downloaded and played for a very brief time Clash of Clans. The tablet is linked to my Google+ account.
My Samsung S4 Phone: I recently got and installed Clash of Clans. I did not link to my Android with the game, because I didn't know anything was there. I also did not link to my Google+ account, because I wanted to see if I enjoyed the game.
I enjoy the game and wanted to link it to my Google+ account from my Samsung S4. Ooops... I would have to take my Level 8 Village and progress down to level 3 if I want to link it to my Google+ account. Oh noes!
So I delete Clash of Clans from the Tablet and go through the process to remove it from the Google+ accounts through the settings.
Now I go to my Samsung S4 and try to link it to Google+. No dice! It's still showing the Level 3 TH account. Why? Why? Can't I delete the account from Google+ for good and then synch my Samsung S4 to Google+????
Now with today's update, my Samsung S4 won't allow me to finalize the update. It has some location error? This is a state of the art phone. The problem is not with the hardware. However, CoC is writing it's updates is wrong.
So 2 problems... inability to delete an old account for good and replace it with a new account.
The inability to play at all thanks to the new update. By, the way... I just got a notice that my village was raided however I cannot access it.
So, I am planning to delete my google+ account, but still want my game backed up... I know everyone on here is saying the game is permanently linked to an account, but does that hold true if the account is deleted? Surely there must be some way I can still back up my game??
Thanks for responding!
This didn't really answer my question... I am deleting my G+ account. So, my game will not be backed up anywhere accessible to me (not safe and secure). When my account is deleted, will my gamecenter ID still be linked to the deleted account permanently? Is there any other way to back up my village?
i already tested remove google+ account..dosent work for a new google+ account...this problem only by supercell will resolved..i now town hall 5 but i cant save village on my google +...because my google + will back town hall 2.
My son 9 started playing Clash of Clans on his Samsung tablet. The tablet malfunctioned and had to be sent in for replacement/repair He got the tablet back and started playing the game again not realizing he could Recover his account. I also started playing with him and he is now having trouble with his tablet again. I tried to link the account to his Google but it keeps saying it will bring the old account over. What do we need to do in order to get rid of the old account and kink the new account before we send the tablet in again? He has progressed far beyond the only account now and we do not want to lose this acct. I also do not want to make another email account to link this to just for one game.
Thanks.
Looks like there is no way to disconnect a game from a google+ account. Even deleting the google+ account and recreating it didn't work for me, the link is still there. That's really a pitty.
The best you can do is to create a new, blank, google+ account, and link your new village to this one.
I have 2 Coc games linked each to different google + account. I bought a gift card and redeemed it on the wrong google + account. How to delete my coc of the wrong google + account so I can link it to the good coc game (which already has google + account linked to it) basically, I want to swap just the google + accounts to use my gems...
Here's my situation. I recently got a new phone. I was following a link devices tutorial, which told me to load CoC on the new phone, get through the tutorial and then access the link devices option. Unaware that Supercell permanently associates data with an account with no way to modify it, I logged into google+ on the new phone, which then permanently associated the level 2 village with my g+ account.
After trying for 2 days to figure out why, when I log into g+ on my old phone I was unable to do so without overwriting my old village with the lvl 2 village from the new phone, I arrived at this thread.
From what I am reading here, there is no way to delete the lvl 2 village from being associated with my g+ account, is that correct? A mistake I made by simply logging into my g+ account from the new phone first, instead of second.
Since there is no way to have more than 1 village associated with my g+ account, and I can't delete my lvl 2 village, there is no way to get my higher level village associated with my current g+ account, correct?
So that's interesting. I am unsure of the reasons why supercell has decided that I should be unable to modify or delete game data associated with my account, but that's their decision. It's a bizarre one from a user perspective, but whatever. The various reasonings you provided were unconvincing and some were quite frankly ridiculous as the german fellow said.
Again, that's fine. Even my high level village is low level by the community's standards, and I haven't spent any money on the game, so I'm not the most valued customer I'm sure. But I did make an account on this forum to express my displeasure at their decision.
So I've spent 2 days trying to rescue my village, but having read this thread, I feel little remorse in simply uninstalling the game and walking away. I *want* to play the game, but through a misunderstanding I am now screwed not by any technical issue, but because Supercell has decided that allowing users to delete their own data is unreasonable.
So this long winded post is just to say thanks but no thanks. What a silly thing to lose a customer over. I'm a little in awe, actually. I hope whatever they think they are gaining from this policy is worth it.
Have a good one.
GG.
The reason is simple, how would you like it if someone got onto your account and linked your base to their G+ account. You would end up hopeless.
Hi Kendra, so i have a nook HD Plus and i dont have a google account connected to my clash account but its a TH8 and pretty good, but when i try to connect it to my gmail account it says i already have a TH lvl 2 connected to it and if i want to load my village but my current stuff would be deleted.... i dont know how i would get my current village back because its not connected to anything but facebook. i just want to get rid of the lvl 2TH from my google account and put my TH8 account on it. is there a way i could do that? please PM me if you know anyway to help me. thanks
Hi modertors, so i have a nook HD Plus and i dont have a google account connected to my clash account but its a TH4 and pretty good, but when i try to connect it to my gmail account it says i already have a TH lvl 3 connected to it and if i want to load my village but my current stuff would be deleted.... i dont know how i would get my current village back because its not connected to anything but facebook. i just want to get rid of the lvl 2TH from my google account and put my TH4 account on it. is there a way i could do that? please mail me me if you know anyway to help me. thanks (the townhall level 3 was my old village)
No..no..no never I want to connect my current VILLAGE to my current G+ A A OUT. You maderators can fix it I know. Becuase I know alot about develement
I'm with this guy. "Someone can access and link your device to their account" is a ridiculous excuse, and completely invalid.
I played on my tablet but hadn't "signed in" to google+ (it never really asks), so when I attempt to link my second tablet to my first, I accidentally signed in with the "post-tutorial" account first, so now that account is permanently linked, and I either lose my nearly TH7 tablet, or simply can't link the device. My main e-mail is now permanently associated with a level 2 village, with seriously no way to recover that?
Suggestion:
Instead of making it absolutely permanent, how about you ask me for my PASSWORD if I want to delete the account? Do the same to LINK a device. Problem solved.
For the moment - I'm sure someone in the technical division of SuperCell can delete the account from my post-tutorial tablet so I can actually do it properly. Do I just need to e-mail them?
SuperCell - this is a very easy mistake to make, I'm not technically challenged at all, I simply didn't know that it would be permanently associated, please fix this in some way so you don't lost customers. I *have* poured money into this game.
Hey guys :)
My name is Kayla*
A while ago my brothers S3 broke and so he used my S4 to play his "Clash of Clans" while his phone went in for repairs :)
At this time I did not have "Clash of Clans" on my phone so he had to install it, after installing the game he then had to go through the tutorial and then only was he able to login with Google+.. but without thinking he just pressed login on my account.
So then some random village was created on my Google+ account. My brother then subsequently added his account and got his village back!
My brothers phone has recently come back from repairs and now he plays his game on his phone.. As for me I would also like to play "Clash of Clans" so the other day I downloaded it and created my village and then when it came time to log in with Google+ me village was deleted and replaced with the village my brother randomly created!!
Please help I have tried everything it delete the old village off my Google+ account even disconnecting the game from Google+ but that doesn't help :'(
Yeah that was what I was trying to do :)
Oh no, this is sad.. :( but then what about my Gmail & Play Store accounts and my other games?? They're all connected with that email address, which I created specifically for my S4?..
So then is it maybe possible to delete the entire accout and create a new one using the same email address?? Would that maybe work :)
Thanks for the help :)*
Is it a whole new Gmail/Google account that I am creating or can I link the new one to my original one??
Ok, i wonder if anyone can help me with this.
I have an account on android linked to G+, i linked the game to my wifes phone so i was playing on that too.
My son has a Ipad, and now he wants to link that to my wifes Android phone. problem is mine is already linked but i dont use it anymore.
How can i sort this out? please someone?
Yes.
New Google account but it is used for Clash.
Make a new game on her phone.
Clear the game from her phone: Settings --> Application manager --> Clash of Clans --> Clear Data.
Make a new G+ account: Settings --> Accounts --> Add Account --> Google --> New.
Open Clash and link the new village to the new G+ account. Then link as normal.
