So why not put them against more clans that they play similar to them? If you want to keep engineering, fine. Face more engineered clans. Want play more balanced. Cool. My concern with engineering has been with the longevity of the game also. Believe it or not, casual clans are the ones getting slammed by this. It's one thing to lose to clan that's just plain better. But whole other argument if you lose to a clan whom you think you shouldn't have had to fight in the first place due to a skewed match up. Trying to get new players into newer clans will become more difficult, esp if they are forced into a certain playstyle in order to compete. Not every player, new or old, wants to learn about the mm and how to work it. Nor should they be forced to and punished for not doing so. And again. Hopefully the new mm improves upon this.
I've stated this before in another thread. Engineering didn't create this mess. This mess, Supercells mistakes, created engineering. So calling engineering some evolutionary thing is a bit of a stretch, because let's face it. This evolution was created by mistake.
