Birdhouse Scrolls

There is one scroll per pending request when viewing your own farm. Its a quick way to see if there are any requests sitting there.

View anyone else's and it shows all scrolls always. I've no idea WHY it should be different. It might be a privacy thing. Or it might just be that the information about requests isn't sent from the server if viewing someone else's farm

Sorry for continuing the hijack of the thread, but NO she's not helpful. The things I listed are the only things she does AT ALL. She's on for about 5 minutes the whole derby EVERY WEEK - pops in, grabs task, leaves. Derby is not required, but all she accomplishes is to make it harder for the rest of us to earn the horseshoes. I can be dense sometimes, and it just dawned on me Tues morning to take a look at her farm. It's in SAD shape. I can't even tell if she's collecting the rewards. It's Thurs now & haven't seen her yet - will def be opting her out from now on!

Related to the topic: when i observe my baby...err.. my sister's farm, from the friends list, her fields always look at the same crops growth stage as the last time. Her crops could be all ripe ready to harvest, but they look like they were just planted. Just like the game doesnt bother to update your friends farms, visually. I believe it is intentional (though odd), to cut on server/client data traffic. Same for nachines and livestock. So i use a stopwatch to know when those crops are ready, but it is mildly annoying.Just a thought.

On topic...Buligo, I hadn't thought that quite thru. Noticed it with inactive hoodmates (such as the one I DID opt out yesterday!) but as "my sister" hasn't committed to a farm yet, it'd hadn't occurred to me that not being able to see such progress would be an issue. Thanks for pointing that out. :)
