Neighbors being stingy with sending Thank You cards?

For instance, if a neighbor had 3 crates open and you filled two or all three, they'd send you one thank you note. Or if they had between five to ten trees that needed watering and you watered all of them, they'd only send one or two thank you notes.

Since the gift cards were released, I believe most of us have a thing for collecting them. So when a neighbor blows you off like that, does it bother you? Would you remove them or just stop helping them out period? I'd like to hear your thoughts. :)

Sometimes it's not a neighbor being stingy. Due to lag, they might be seeing someone else who has watered the plant (and I think this also happens with crates).. and since they can only send 1 thank you for that item, it goes to whoever shows up and not to all that were able to contribute..

I wouldn't take it personal.

I tested this multiple times on another HD account and received all the thank you notes that I sent to that account which is why I thought it wouldn't turn out to be a bug. But yes, can't be too sure about what's really going on. :)

Unless I'm mistaken you can't collect from a watered tree without sending the thank you. Whatever's going on it isn't something I'd blame on the other player.

How large was your sample size for the test run? I have had someone on another device sitting next to me as I flag over 200+ plants and guess what.. sometimes his avatar didn't even show up at all. I watched him as he revived the plants, but as I have so many neighbors and followers, his effort didn't get to the server faster than my other friends. I couldn't send out thank you cards to him despite me watching him help.

I feel bad for all the people who thought they'd get 50+ thank yous from me, but didn't.. Hopefully they didn't think I was being stingy :(

I didn't flag as much as you, lol, 200+ is A LOT. I did approximately 30+ and he received his max that same day and the rest the next day. Then I did another small test about two days later and it all went through too. Hah, I shouldn't even be saying "he" because I was using his phone and doing all the testing.

I think the cards are generated by the game when you tap un the trees or fill a crate. I have never seen any place/button where I could personally pick the number or type of cards?? If there is such a mechanism, let me know.

I had 10 trees that needed watering and didn't know how to press the tree to ask for help....was sheer fluke I found how to do it.....and got someone to water them...I sent of the little letter on each one. A lot of my friends haven't found how yet because there are hundreds of wilted trees on my run through the farms...have only found one exclamation on one farm!!!

Press on the tree and a saw or exclamation comes up drag or press it to the tree...the exclamation changes into a bullhorn speaker which you drag to tree....hope this helps! :)

You actually read the thank you notes? I just click on collect all. I don't bother to read, count or keep track of who's sending.
