I Think we should be able to switch gold for elixr and vice versa so when we fully upgrade everything that costs one of the two we can switch them. Tell me your ideas!!!!:)

What he purposed was not an exchange building but rather to be able to chose whether to use gold or elixer to purchase the upgrade with not change gold to elix or elix to gems .. ect.. ect. If you can switch between gold and elixir than there is no point of having 2 resource, this mean that you have total of 16,001,000 gold to spend. :cool:
False. You'd have 16,002,000 gold. And also, I think the OP is talking about being able to build things with gold instead of elixir and vice versa. This is essentially the same as converting, but meh.
No...... Gold is gold. Elixir is elixir. There is no magic to swap. HOWEVER dark barracks/vault/pumps SHOULD BE UPGRADABLE BY EITHER !! As it is not 100% just because normal barracks are elixir dark barracks shouldn't be,, or make a new building needing BOTH! That would be fun
Why do you think they have different resources in the first place? Think about it for a minute, and I think you should be able to understand how this idea is flawed.
Also despite what Charli3Murphy6 says, this -is- essentially the conversion of one resource to another.
What would be the difference between this idea and a building that let you convert one resource to the other with a 0 time or resource cost?
Lol just farming and u got maxed elixir.... "Woohoo ill swap this lot for gold easy 6 mil!! Can u imagine that? People would farm walls so easily
Ya it is true that gold is gold and elixir is elixir, but what if like requesting troops we could swap money with people in our clans with a recharging feature so we couldn't do it too much?
