Should Christmas gifts be given on Christmas?

Should christmas gifts be given out on Christmas?
PLEASE VOTE!!!

I recently had a cool idea for this upcoming Christmas. Instead of offering gold mine and and elixir collector boosts for less gems, I thought it would be cool to get a gift when you log on.
The amount of resources could be based off your league bonus. Theres a start.
I am sure everyone would love to receive some free gems or resources...
This would encourage inactive users to log in again, eeing how they would receive free gems and/or resources. Clash of Clan could just send a push alert telling the player to log in to receive their gift.

If you have any questions or criticism, or just want to say you like my idea, please let me know! i really would love to hear back.
(Please vote though, This took a long time to write out. You never know, maybe you could have an impact on the next update!:D)

FREE GEMS WOOOOO> But i say sure. Nothing much. Mabey 100 gold.

The XMas trees give 25K gold a piece, if they just do the same thing as last year, although you could collect it any time.

Maybe a Christmas Day prize, like x3 collector boost, only on Christmas Day, no gems required.
want christmas trees back though :)

I was thinking that the loot could be based off the player's league bonus, but i guess 100 gold could work.. Its just a little low in my opinion.

I too was thinking something like that, again, it doesn't have to be exactly what i wrote, but yeah, you're definitely on to something.

I think something as simple as boosting mines is great for the community, if I receive a gift on Christmas, why not my birthday as well?

Also Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, Taoists, Shinto, Shamanic, and Jehovah's Witnesses don't celebrate Christmas, would we get gifts on their similar holiday celebrations? (Some members of these religions do celebrate Xmas, before anyone try's to point me out wrong, it's just the culture they are brought up in)

Yeah, I thought of that, if anyone asked, I was going to say, it doesn't necessarily have to be a christmas gift, it could simply just be a "holiday gift". You know, something to celebrate the time of the year.

they should give like 1 or 2 free upgrades at not cost or wait time

I would like to see them in CoC, they give out gifts left right and centre in Hay Day. In Hay Day you get 2 free gems every time they conduct maintenance on the servers. I definitely want to see the Santa Spell again

SALE ON GEMS would be a great Christmas present.

Why not Birthday Gifts instead? Everyone wins.
Unless of course I entirely missed that feature.
