Message when troops are done

Ok so when youre cooking your troops then leave your device ( mine is an Iphone 4s ), you will receive an alert when they are done ( well i do ) but if you get back on COC and lets say donate ( like i did ) then cook troops again and turn your device off ( well not off, but hit the power button) you dont get the message that your troops are done ( i didnt ) soo im sitting waiting an extra 5-10 for nothing .. anyways, if its not too much to ask and within SC capabilities, could they fix this .. or is this an issue with the iphone itself ? And has anyone else encountered this ?

I agree, the notification will not repeat once you have donated troops from a full camp setup.
