Probably still raiding even tho the 20% battery left has come up like 4 times. You can guess what happens next:p
There has been a few times when I was first learning dragon raiding that I deployed the suckers and all they did was circle the base. One time this happened while an AD fired away merrily, making dragon stew
There was also one time when I attacked a low th 9 or late th8 (can't remember) and I clearly had more than enough troops to wipe them off the map (Dragon/Minion raid). Not sure how it happened but archers began funneling out of the CC and my minions and dragons just sort of floated over them as they sat in the midst of 2 AD, throw in a few red and black air mines and my forces got their butts handed back to them - deep fried.
Then their was my pitiful attempt at a PEKKA/Wizard combo. I threw one of these at a TH9 (lvl 1 PEKKA and 4 wizard)... thinking... well I am not sure. The PEKKAs just wander off in a random direction since my WB got blow to bits before reaching the wall and my wizards practically exploded under mortar fire as they advanced in a completely different direction.
11 dragons + 2 inferno towers = FML
My first shot at Dragons + Minions was very similar - single inferno, maybe an air defense... I barely scratched the outside of the base. Learned pretty quickly that dragons vs infernos = fail.Quote:

I was attacking a TH9 with a decent amount of DE. I lured a King over to a corner with an archer or two, went to release 5 minions to kill him... but somehow I deployed all my pekka! I tried to salvage it, by clearing the outside buildings with archers and a wizard, then threw down my wall breakers, giants, my golem... my pekka circled the outside for a bit then were all dead, my remaining troops were attacking the wrong side of the base, in the wrong order, all dying under heavy mortar fire. I threw down my clan castle, forgetting it had a couple of giants and not many archers....
In the end, my golem and two level 6 giants from the CC got a small way into the base, but with no archers left there was nothing to actually collect any loot. I got almost no loot, got nowhere near the DE, and lost a lot of trophies. It started with one single wrong press of the screen, followed by a series of bad attempts to salvage it... I turned the ipad off after that one!
